Chapter 94: Chapter 94

It took two whole days for her to regain consciousness, and for those two days, Craig refused going home, he stayed at the hospital with her.

She had started moving, but she never opened her eyes, it seem as though she purposely didn't want to open her eyes, but Craig was patient, he stayed with her, holding her hands, and looking into her eyes, and so she slowly, opened her eyes as if afraid of the sunlight. Craig was so happy, he got up and bent down to fix his eyes on hers, so she sees him first.

When her eyes opened fully, she was seeing herself inside his eyeballs because of how close, he was to her.

"Hey! He called out. She didn't respond immediately, but she was happy to see him. If she died, then she must still be in the same place with him.

"Are we in heaven? She asked. He smiles and then nodded his head as to say No.

"We are still alive, and you are in the hospital". He says, she wanted to ask him what happened as her brain went blank, but he added to the last thing he said.

You had an accident". She opened her eyes shocked and touched her stomach.

"My baby".

"He is okay". He answered quickly, then he added.

just relax, that is the doctor's instruction". She relaxed her head back on the bed, then she finally look around, since he was no longer looking into her eyes the way he had been looking before. She noticed she didn't see Whitney, nor Mary, so she asked.

"Where is Whitney?

"She is in school, and I didn't tell her what happened, I didn't want her to know". She nodded in agreement, for she might freakout. Craig was so happy, seeing her speak to him, that he hugs her on the bed.

I am so happy you are alive, I was so scared, and it is all my fault, I should have never allowed you to drive. I would never forgive myself, if something, were to happen to you".

She knew he was thinking it happened because of careless driving, but even she, didn't think so.

"I know what you think, but I wasn't driving carelessly, I was driving really slow, just the way you would have wanted Paul to drive, but I guess the other vehicles, they were after me". She says that last part slowly, knowing fully well that he would get furious about it.

"How do you mean? He asked. And she replied quickly, he needs to know, if there are people after, then she should tell him, so he could be prepared.

"One collided with me, which would have looked like an accident, but what about the one that hit me from behind? Craig didn't have this information, he didn't know this, and he didn't want to look too furious Infront of her, so he asked calmly, trying to gather his findings.

"What street did you say this happened again?

"Royce street. It is the residential street before the Mall, no one drives speed in a residential street". She tries to buttress her point. Craig agrees with her, so he got up and called Davidson.

"I need the CCTV footage, on Royce, the accident was staged". He didn't wait to hear anything from him, he ended the call, and just then, his grandparents came into the room. They had been away on business trip for the past two days, they aren't supposed to be back yet, but they had to, since they know he wouldn't be able to concentrate if Samantha is at the hospital.

"She will be moved to the house, she will be treated from there". His grandfather says, looking at his son for keeping an Apple in a public hospital. Not like he didn't know, he had his reasons.

"I am sorry pa, I just didn't want my daughter worried". He was referring to Whitney.

"You could have taken her to the other house, or to the penthouse, or to a different state, where you have houses, you know we don't visit hospitals, because of the narrative and the news". He says.

"Yes, pa, I know, but I have told you the reason I left her here".

"And you didn't think you should go home, you stink". He said to him, but Craig wasn't going to leave, she just woke, and he wants to be with her.

"Go home dear, you have been here for two days now, she is awake, and we are going to be here with her, till the doctor finalizes everything, then we will bring her home". His grandmother says.

Samantha was shocked to hear that she had been out for two days, she wanted to speak too, but she would rather not say anything immediately.

"I am going to be here, and take her home, to be treated at home, I want to be there to see everything. I left her for an hour and this happened, I don't want to leave her again". He says.

His granny stared at him and shook his head.

"You are still as stubborn as always". He says and walked away, to go finalize with the doctor.

"How are you feeling dear? Mrs Anderson finally thought it was wise to ask her.

"I am fine". She answered, still looking at Craig, whose look didn't change, he was clearly still very worried about her.

"What did the doctor say? His grandmother asked, looking at his worried face, And since she is already awake, he decided to say it Infront of her.

"He says she will be fine, but she will be on bed rest, until she put to bed". He was thinking she would act shocked, but he was surprised, she didn't act so shocked, she had already heard it from the doctor himself, when he came in, but she just had to pretend as though she was still unconscious.

Soon, Sir Anderson came out with the doctor, and the preparation to take her home started immediately.

a nurse was assigned to follow them home. She will be the nurse that will be taking care of Samantha at home.

They had only just entered the limo, when Davidson called Craig to give him the report.

"You are right boss, the accident was staged, I am looking at it right now". Craig didn't respond, he was happy, and he could only think of all the gruesome things he would do to the people who have hurt his wife.

"Bring the footage to me, at my house, I will meet you at the house". He says, and though Samantha kept looking at him, he didn't say anything to her, he was going to bring every person involved to book.
