That same night, Juliet lay lifeless in the river, it wouldn't be long before she sinks downwards, drinks enough water and probably loose her life, but she was seen by a dirty looking hunter, already he had seen everything, and though he didn't see the face of the one in the car, he had seen the man that had thrown her inside the river. He sees her, being thrown in, he waited for them to leave, before he came close to save her. He helped her to the shore. Then He touched her neck, checking for pulse, to know if she is still alive, and somehow, she is still alive, but she was almost dead, she needs to be taken to the hospital.
Going backwards for the hunter would mean going into the city, and the hospitals in the city are quite expensive, while the ones In the outskirt, close to the other side of the village are less expensive, and if you don't want to go to the hospital at all, there are villagers, who help in taking care of the sick, by using natural substances, they might know what to do.
The hunter took her to his home on a horse, and straight to his sister's hut. She is a medicine woman, she would know what to do, just looking at her.
"Who is this person Dylan? She asked him, as she watch him carry a lifeless body into her house.
"She needs your help, I was hunting close to the City, when I saw her being thrown in the river by some man". He explains.
"If you saw her immediately, then why is she not talking, she shouldn't be dead?
"I don't think she is dead sister, I felt her pulse, stop asking questions and just help her! She was injected, I found this close to her". He gave her something he saw in her dress, when he helped her out. "please help her". He shouted.
She got a few bottles and ask him to help in keeping her mouth open, which he did, and she poured half the bottle into her body, and after a few minutes, Juliet started sneezing non stop.
"Wow sister Vicky, even the doctors could never be this fast to bring her back to life. You are awesome". She says, but he was worried that she is still sneezing.
Why won't she stop sneezing? He asked.
"As soon as you told me she was injected, I suspected it must be poison, she would have died, but as she is sneezing out, she will eventually finish sneezing out all that is left of the venom of the whatever substance was injected into her body". She answers with pride. She has been doing this, since they came to the village. She needed to make herself useful, and she is glad she has made a life for herself and her brother.
"So she is going to be okay?
"Yes brother, she will be okay, and what if she doesn't get okay, what do you think, we will tell the cops when they get here? You know we are supposed to report her first to the police, before we start treating her?
" I fear she might be in more danger if she is exposed, whatever we can do for her, please let us do it". He says and then her sister sat down and stared him straight in the eye.
"How many times have I told you not to go into the city, that area is dangerous, and you know there are people there, who doesn't know we exist, and they shouldn't know about us, at least not now. And what if the person we are trying to save, is also, one of those people that are after our lives? She had one million and one question for him, but somehow in his heart, he doesn't think he was doing something bad, helping Juliet.
"Let us just do what we feel is right, and leave the rest to God". Was his response, and after his speech, she stopped sneezing but she never opened her eyes, or even wake up, she looks like she have passed on from there, even though Vicky kept saying she isn't dead, and that her body is just reacting to what she has received.
Dylan didn't leave his sister's house that night, he slept there, hoping to see the person he believes he has saved, open her eyes. Before he slept, He kept watching her, but since she didn't wake up, he finally gave in to the calls of nature, he fell asleep.
