Upon seeing me stop my actions, my parents exhaled in relief and cried out in response, “Baby, we missed you.” They confessed in a voice filled with exceptional longing.

I sniffed, still stunned so much that I couldn’t move a foot. “I thought you were dead. I. How were you alive? Why haven’t you come to see me all this time? Do you know how miserable I was? I was very miserable.” I confessed and let the tears slip past my eyes, watching every one of my parent’s actions.

My parent's eyes landed on Lorelei’s figure behind me, and they began to approach me while responding, “That Miss over there saved us. She had been the one taking care of us all this time. Please let her go, and we can leave to enjoy our life again. Don’t you always want to become our princess? We’ll let you be. From now on, it’ll just be us: you, your mom, and I…” They whispered in that soft and gentle tone that unconsciously made me stay rooted in my feet and made my heart surge with emotions.

Upon hearing what they said, I furrowed my brows and fell into deep thought, but in the next minute I obediently nodded and smiled sweetly, “Okay.”

My mates’ expressions changed immediately, and they howled loudly. “Filippa. You can't fall for it. Wake up.” They cried out.

I ignored their cries and smiled sweetly as my parents approached me.

They happily engulfed me in a hug, but in the next minute, Mom, Dad, and Lorelei screamed at the top of their lungs and flew back.

From the beginning, I already know that the two are illusions cast by Lorelei in order to escape, but I properly pretend to fall for her plans in order to catch them off guard.

Although they claimed to be my parents, they were filled with sinister vibes and didn’t even cast a glance at the power axis and red flame pack. My parents are never unreasonable. And they had always had great responsibility. They’ll never have such a type of word in the first place.

Although I tend to cry and think about my parents, I don’t believe in them being alive, so Lorelei can’t trick me. My mom and dad are already dead.

I smirked upon watching the illusion get more transparent with every second that ticked due to the healing power I cast on them.

“Mom? Dad? You think I'm stupid enough not to recognize my parents.” I pronounced coldly with a scoff as soon as the illusion body disappeared.

This time Lorelei could hardly even hold herself up.

Oswald strode toward me while holding an antique and mystic knife in hand. He wrapped his hands around me and kissed me fiercely. “Baby, you’re the best.” He praised in a deep and husky tone that unconsciously made me filled with warmth.

“You too, hubby.” I smiled bashfully and stretched my hand, signaling for the knife.

Even though I was about to kill a person for the first time, I didn’t feel a bit of repulsion, fear, or guilt in my heart. After all, this is Lorelei; if I don't get rid of her completely, she’ll get rid of me and my people and continue her project through someone else.

It's better to rid this world of such an evil being immediately. I don’t believe in punishing her slowly; what if she finds a way to escape? We’ll end up being the regretful ones.

Judging by her patience and scheme, by the time Lorelei comes back for us, the tide will definitely switch.

“Can you?” Oswald softly whispered. I knew he was worried that I might be afraid to do it yet feigning confidence.

However, even though I’m afraid to hurt any being, that type of being, Lorelei, isn’t included. Right now if it wasn’t her life, then it’ll be mine and my people’s.

“Only I can,” I responded solemnly.

I know what Lorelei is afraid of the most. Lorelei and her creation are afraid of my pure healing power and divine energy. I turned to Lorelei and strode toward her.

Upon seeing my actions, Lorelei began to tremble and tried to escape.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t move an inch regardless of how she tried. Sweat broke on her skin, and her eyes turned moist, fear and despair evident in her eyes. “Filippa, I was wrong. Filippa, it's against the rule to kill… Puchi!”

I didn’t give Lorelei the chance to continue her words before stabbing her with the knife handed by Oswald. Immediately, I felt the unconscious burden I was crying dissipate into weakness upon seeing Lorelei stop breathing.

My eyes fell on Lorelei in bewilderment. Can it be simple like that? Very easy like that? That Lorelei that has been a menace of the world is dead now? However, I found myself not believing it.

Immediately, I cast a fire spell and laced it with my healing abilities and divine energy. Immediately, I directed it toward her.

“Ahhhh!” Lorelei’s eyes flew wide open, and she immediately screamed.

It was just like I thought; Lorelei pretended to be dead. “Filippa, you bitch! How dare you? I created you; how can you do such an evil thing to me? I’ll definitely make you pay in the future. Relax, you haven’t completely won. Ahhhh!” She screamed at the top of her lungs, pain vivid in her eyes as her body slowly burned into ash.

Suddenly my eyes constricted, and I pulled Oswald and me from Lorelei.

Immediately, I cast a deflecting spell, and the lethal blood that Lorelei had just spat toward us landed on Lorelei’s face and body immediately.

“Ahhhhh!” Lorelei’s body immediately became disfigured and turned into nothingness due to the lethality in the blood.

I couldn’t help breathing in relief. Luckily, I felt that something was wrong and quickly pulled Oswald away using my sharp instinct, or else we’d be the miserable ones.

If that lethal blood has fallen, it won’t only corrode us, but it might have also killed us or left us with a half-life.  That bitch is truly cruel.

My expression changed, and I increased the intensity of the fire. Even though I already increased the intensity, the burning pace didn’t increase. And it took hours before Lorelei finally turned into ashes.

Instantly, I used my divine energy on the ash before flickering it away. Lorelei will never exist anymore!

It was then that I finally had a leash on myself. I collapsed into Oswald’s hand immediately. Even though I tried to pull a strong front all day, the truth was that it was all a pretense, and I was already tired.

Not to mention that I was already spoiled by my hubbies and hardly did any hard work. Right now all I wanted to do was just lay on the bed, burrowing in their embrace.

Despite these thoughts, my hands walked faster than my brain, and I spread my healing powers across the power axis pack. All the people who had sustained injury or weakened by the fight were healed within the blink of an eye.

Wyatt, Asher, and Rex strode toward us immediately. Rex leaned forward and kissed my cheeks and whole face sweetly. “I’m proud of you, princess.” He praised and ran his hands through my hair.

I bit my lower lip and smiled bashfully before responding sweetly, “Proud of you too, hub… by.” I drawled sweetly.

Rex froze immediately, causing everyone to burst into laughter. He was definitely caught unaware by the endearing word that I had just called him.

“Baby Zierk. Hubby.” My lips curved up in a wide smile. “Little Zeirk, you saved Mom’s life.” I stretched my hands and pulled his smooth and soft cheeks with joy, my eyes turning teary with joy.

“Ma. Ma.” Baby Zeirk stretched out his hands toward me eagerly and enthusiastically pronounced

My eyes light up, and my lips curved up with joy, my whole person radiating with joy and pride. “Did you hear? Zeirk just called me mom?”

Immediately, I raised Zierk and planted kisses on my baby’s cheeks. My baby began to laugh and giggle in my arms. I played with Zeirk for a while before turning to Wyatt.

I stretched my hands, tiptoed, and hugged him. “Hubby, I love you,” I confessed.

Wyatt held my waist and kissed me gently. “I love you, Filippa. You’ve done well. I’m proud of you.” He extended his hands and ruffled my hair gently.

I nodded, my eyes crinkled, my heart exceptionally filled with warmth.

Asher turned to me and stretched his hands toward me. He gently kissed my lips and immediately moved to my ear and whispered, his words reminding me of a certain playboy's words.

My face burned red, and my legs weakened, and I almost collapsed if it weren’t for Oswald, who held me. This jerk. How could he say such a thing in a time like this?

Lena, Natalie, Arya, Hudson, Finley, etc. walked toward us and gently engulfed me in a hug. “We are proud of you. Your parents will definitely be proud of you.” They praised me, their words filling me with joy.

They turned to my mate and gently patted their shoulders to praise them for doing well.

Upon arriving in front of Rex, Alpha King Hudson paused and patted Rex's shoulder. “Thank you; from now on, you are one of us.” Immediately, he completed his words, and he engulfed him in a hug. “And I’m proud of you as well. You can call me Dad from now on.”

Immediately, I saw Rex’s calm facade break. I stretched my hand and intertwined our hands.

Rex was an orphan all his life, and he never had a father figure in his heart. Hearing Alpha Hudson’s word, he’ll surely be gladdened in the heart.

Rex parted his lips and called obediently, “Dad.”

Natalie and Lena parted their lips and also said. “You can call us mom also…”

We bid goodbyes to the parents properly, and I turned to them wanting to ask what’s next, but before I could, my mates stared at each other seriously. “Who won the bet?”

Their expressions changed immediately, clearly not knowing who did. I wrinkled my brows while wondering what bet they were talking about.

Rex stretched his hand and cockily said, “You guys didn't take her down. I broke her wrist. It’s the biggest achievement.”

“We already weakened her before you did.” Asher leisurely pronounced with a scoff.

Rex’s expression changed, and the four began to argue.

Watching them do this fills my heart inexplicably with joy. These are my mates. These are my homes. Regardless of what happens, we’ll be together forever!
