I sat up with a leisurely yawn and rubbed my bulging stomach with a warm smile on my face. "Hey, pup. It's a month left before you meet with Mom." I whispered while caressing my bulging stomach.

The thought of carrying my little pup in a month made me giddy with joy. I caressed my stomach again.

As if to respond to my words, I felt a little kick. My face broke into a smile. My little pup is so active. I can't wait at all.

I stood up and walked toward the mirror to check my stomach.

My stomach is now the size of a ball, which is quite bewildering considering that my stomach was flat in the beginning.

When we asked the doctor about it, the doctor told us that there was nothing wrong and that our baby was growing healthy.

I rubbed my stomach with joy. 'Little pup, I can't wait to carry you and shower you with all the love in the world.'

I can't help wondering what the gender of my pup will be. But regardless, I'll love my pup forever and shower my pup with the best love in the world.

Wyatt and I decided not to check on our baby's gender. We promised to let the moon goddess decide for us and give us the best gift on the delivery day.

I yawned leisurely and made my way to the bathroom.

Surprisingly, I'm so full of energy today. Since a week ago, I've been down due to languidness, which put an end to Asher and my training.

Since the past week, my day has been spent with either Natalie, Wyatt, or Arya staying with me, but since today is Monday, they all had to leave.

However, Wyatt already promised to return home as early as he could.

But seeing that I had more than enough energy to run around today, I could just go and visit Wyatt in his office.

I took a bath carefully and slowly, just like Wyatt ordered me to. By the time I was done, I felt a lot of relief washed through my soul and body.

"Filippa." Maia suddenly called me in an enigmatic voice, causing me to stop in my tracks.

I arched my brows and immediately continued on my pace toward my hair dryer. Although Maia hadn't said a word, I already had an idea of what Maia wanted to say.

"Do you think Oswald will show up today?" Maia asked.

My heart skipped a beat, and my heartbeat quickened. A trace of sadness coursed through me, and I felt my heart ache due to intense pain. Ever since the day the event happened with Oswald, I haven't caught a trace of Oswald.

Even though I have repeatedly tried to see Oswald to apologize to him, Oswald kept avoiding me.

However, the only thing that made me relieved was Wyatt telling me that Oswald was fine and that Oswald would come around soon.

"I'm not sure he's ready to see me yet." I bowed my head and twisted my fingers regretfully.

"It's fine. Don't be hard on yourself. Oswald is very persistent. I think he'll come around soon." Maia tried to coax me gently.

I nodded and took a deep breath to snap out of the sadness engulfing me. The doctor had warned me to always be in a good mood in order not to affect my baby, so I can't succumb to it.

I did all the necessities and walked toward the fridge to take out a packet of butter-flavored cookies to munch on. I strode out of the room in a flowery dress that fell on my knees.

The sky was blue, the air was fresh, and it was slightly sunny. The perfect weather for a walk.

Immediately, I changed my decision and began to walk toward the garden.

The garden will definitely be beautiful at this time of the day, not to mention the refreshing flower scent while reading a book to my pup. The thought made me giddy with joy.

I turned to my bodyguard and ordered him to bring me the book I tend to read to my baby.

"Yes, miss." The bodyguard bowed to me and returned to the mansion.

A smile unconsciously lit up on my face as I made my way toward the garden.

I walked toward the swing at a leisurely pace while inhaling and exhaling the fresh breath.

"Meow." The sudden noise of a kitten attracted my attention.

Kitten? My eyes widened slightly. I haven't seen a kitten in the power axis pack, nor did Wyatt have a kitten in the mansion. Where did it come from?

I began to track the noise made by the kitten. It can't be that the reason Wyatt is coming home early is because he already got us a kitten and wanted to show it to me. The thought made me giddy with joy.

Soon, I saw the kitten, and I fell in love with its beauty immediately.

The kitten was tiny, cute, and plump. Its color is white, and it's clean all through.

The kitten nestled amid the flowers in the garden, beautifully creating a lovely image. The view made my heart warm.

I bent at it and cautiously stretched out my hands toward it.

The kitten's eyes widened as if it had just noticed my presence. Immediately, it turned and scurried out of the garden. My eyes widened slightly.

Without hesitation, I began to chase after the kitten. The kitten immediately jumped out of the mansion through a tiny hole I hadn't even seen myself.

"Oh no." Immediately, I facepalmed myself. What have I just done? If I had known I would scare the cute kitten, I wouldn't have approached it.

I returned to the mansion to search for a bodyguard. I exhaled in relief when I saw one.

When the bodyguard saw me, he bowed to me respectfully. "Miss."

I took a deep breath to calm my raging heart and pointed at the door. "Wyatt's kitten had just escaped through a hole; can you please help me get it? I'll inform Wyatt also." As soon as I conveyed my words, I turned and left the mansion without waiting for the bodyguard's response.

I facepalmed myself in regret. Had I known this was how it'd end, I'd never have touched the kitten...

"Meow." The sudden, familiar sound of the kitten attracted my attention.

Upon hearing this, I bit my lower lip and chided myself. I should have brought a bodyguard along to help me catch the kitten, but in the next minute, I waved my hands.

Asher's wicked training isn't for naught. If I can't even catch an ordinary kitten, doesn't that mean that I don't deserve all the training?

Thinking like this, I cautiously approached the area where the kitten's voice sounded.

Upon seeing me, the kitten's eyes widened in startle, and began to run toward the alpha and beta offices.

My eyes widened in joy immediately. That's nice! It's just a matter of time before I catch the naughty little kitten...

Before I could snap out of my reverie, I saw the kitten dash toward the building next to the alpha and beta's office.

I facepalmed myself in horror. This stupid little cat. Why does it seem to be against me?

I decided to call for someone's attention. As long as someone could help me bring out the cat, I'll be very grateful.

Thinking like this, I walked toward the door and took a deep breath before asking calmly. "Is anyone here?" I asked

However, even after calling out three times, no one responded to me.

I puffed my cheeks while guessing I'd just have to enter the building and see things for myself. I pushed the door open, and luckily, the door was not locked.

My eyes widened upon seeing that the place was empty, signifying that no one was around.

A trace of contempt flickered past my eyes. Since no one is here, how could they be so careless to leave it open?

But in the next minute, I shrugged it off. The power axis pack is powerful and loyal; who will dare to break in?

Thinking like this, I snapped out of my thoughts and paid attention to the silly kitten that was a few steps away from me.

"Meow." Upon seeing me, the cat let out an agitated cry.

Perhaps it was my imagination; I saw a creepy smile form on the kitten's face. Before I could blink, I saw the kitten vanish into thin air.

My eyes widened and my lips parted in shock, and my face turned pale while trying to process what had just happened.

I went to the garden to have a fresh breath when I saw a white cat. I was about to touch the cat when its attention was grabbed, and it fled away from the mansion.

On my mission to catch the cat, it suddenly dashed into the building, and before I could process it, it disappeared into thin air. Even without knowing, I knew I had been caught in a scheme.

Does this mean that Wyatt hadn't even got me a cat?

Before I could process my thoughts, the door was suddenly opened ajar. Wyatt, Oswald, Asher, and Lorelei stride in. Behind them were the pack members.
