Jackie's P.O.V

"Hey where are you all going,"Ella asked aloud as we exited the cottage.

She was seated on the bench with Anna and they were looking at the phone and giggling.

"Into the woods,"Bray stated as we three walked towards them.

"Sounds good,"Ella commented as she got off her seat.

I glanced at Anna who looked at me and removed her gaze instantly before our eyes could meet. She wore blue jeans and a pink baggy sweater which was almost falling off her shoulder.

"And what are you all doing,"Bray asked by pointing towards Ella's phone.

"Just showing her our childhood pictures, "

"Ohh,"

"Cool,"I blurted,

what? Childhood pics.

no no its not. Did she show her that pic

"Which pic,"Ella asked by looking at me with her thin eyebrows furrowed.

"What,"I snapped.

Did she really hear me? I thought that was my mind's voice.

"You said it out loud,"

"Huh?,"

To be honest my jaw dropped to the ground. Or maybe under the ground.

"I mean. ....you know.....that pic,"I said by rubbing the back of my neck.

"Ohh I almost forgot,"she snapped.

By scrolling her mobile screen she showed the mobile to Anna.

What....no...no

"No.. ,"I shouted and I was about to pull the phone but Anna grabbed the phone from Ella and stepped behind. She looked deep into the screen and looked up at me with a wide smile on her face,I mean it was wide like she would eat up her whole face.

"Jackie,"She stepped forward in the way like showing her blue sneakers.

"Why are you crying,"she asked me by looking at the phone and adjusting her lips to make a sad face.

But you are not getting it. You look funny instead.

A giggle escaped my mouth at my thoughts without my realisation.

"What are you laughing at,"Anna asked.

No I mean almost screeched by keeping her hands at either side of her hip where she was holding the phone in her right hand.

"You can not make a sad face,"I blurted by inserting my palms into my pant pocket.

"What???,"She shouted.

"You heard me my pie,"

"My pie....,"Bray repeated after which made me to turn towards my left to glance at him and yeah my

thought was right he was looking at me.

"Jac...,"before Ella could call me Anna interrupted.

"Anyways,why is he crying in this pic,"

Everyone bursted in fits of laughter except for me and Anna. This is getting on my nerves to be honest because I myself don't have that picture because it's humiliating but she has it.

Okay..not only her,everyone has my pic except for me. Perfect theory right.

Urgh....

"Calm dude,"Bray stated as he wrapped his arm around Jackie's shoulder who was staring at David, the one smiling mischievously, to tell Anna the story of that pic.

Bray walked Jackie away from them.

"He is crying because he wanted the power of spiderman,"David explained between his laughs.

"So he was stubborn,asking aunty to buy him the powers,"Isabella managed to speak between her laughs

"Ohh,"Anna looked at the phone screen and at Jackie who was standing away with Bray where his back was facing her.

She looked back at the phone and burst out laughing in a way that Jackie instantly turned around to glance at her.

"He just wanted to embarrass me,"Jackie stated

"Dude I think it's better if you confess to Anna,"

"Huh?,"he immediately snapped at Bray looking at him curiously.

"Your eyes sparkle,"Bray commented as he tapped Jackie's shoulder.

"You watch too much movies I guess,"

"Nah,it's true dude,"Bray said which made Jackie move his hand to touch his eyes with his finger tips.

"What are you saying,"he asked curiously as others were still busy with their laughs and talks.

"You are falling deep into the ocean,"Bray shrugged his shoulders by looking at Jackie who was wondering.

"Alright,just forget it. Let's move on,"he walked forward"lets go guys,"he called out as Jackie followed him with David.

"We're in,"Anna squealed and walked forward with Isabella.

Anna's P.O.V

"What about this,"I asked Isabella, holding a stick in my hand and showing it to her.

She moved forward and took the stick and examined it..we were sitting down next to each other under a huge old tree,where others were gathered away.

"Nah, it's too small,"she furrowed her eyebrows and threw it away.

"I'm tired,"she spouted, glancing at me and returning to the ground.

I just nodded and looked at her.

"Hey,"

"Hmm ,"I hummed by looking at the messy knotted roots.

"Do you like Jackie,"

"Huh?,"I faced her immediately with a confused look.

Why would she ask that question? I mean is it so obvious. Do people's eyes really sparkle when they are with their love? I've only read those in books. This theory of love is totally insane but it's damn true I guess sometimes.

No Anna. Why am I saying it's true?

Nah nah its dumb.

"Hey,"Isabella called out pulling me away from my stupid thoughts.

"I just.....I think Jackie is into you,"

"How do y..,"

"It could be seen Anna,"she answered before I could complete my sentence.

"Is it obvious, " I asked by turning towards my right to face her.

"Yees,"she squeeled and got up by dusting her hands against each other,where her long strawberry blonde hair was waving against her back for the breeze.

"Uhhm,"I got up and dusted my hands too and glanced at her where the two green orbs were looking at me. Her eyes are big while her lashes are long which makes her green orbs look adorable in it like a forest.

To be honest any man would fall into her lovely eyes,because if I was a man I would surely propose to her.

"What,"I snapped.

"You didn't answer my question, "she stated as she crossed her arm over her chest which crushed her white top.

She wore a white top which was pleated from the neck and the top landed a few inches above her lip and a black mini skirt exposing her skinny leg where her feet were inserted into brown boots.

"What if I say no,"I commanded and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Then it means you are lying,"She blurted confidently .

"What?,"the word almost came out as a whisper and my hands hung out.

Is it so obvious? No...this is not gonna happen.

Me into Jackie would be the world's funniest joke.

My stupid thoughts were again interuppted but not by Isabella it was my phone ringtone.

I looked up at her and sighed heavily which made a smirk appear on her thick lips.

"I'll be back,"I excused and popped my phone from my jean's pocket.

My eyebrows furrowed as I viewed the caller id.

Unknown number.

Smiling at Isabella I walked a little further and answered the call with a little of hesitation. But come on, it can be anyone.

"Hello,Anna this side who is on that side,"I spoke cheerfully by kicking the dead branches which were lying on the ground.

"Hello,It's Andrew this side,"I heard from the caller and then a loud laughter was heard into my ears.

"Wh. ,"

"You know it's me Anna baby,"he spoke before me.

"Andrew,"a whisper of fear came out of my mouth.

"My name always comes out of that sweet little mouth sweetly,"

"I...,"I instantly moved the phone away from my ear to end the call but I was paused automatically by his coming up words.

"I can see you Anna,"

"You can't play with me "I grunted with a little bit of courage.

"Alright then,"I could hear his laughter again" you've worn a pink sweater and your sleeves are rolled up now as you have been busy picking up sticks,"

How does he know all this? Is he stalking me? I looked around to see if he was there but there was no one. Immediately I turned around to see Isabella but she was not standing in the place we were earlier. The world began to rotate,I could feel sweat beads appearing on my forehead even in this cold weather.

"No..,"a soft whisper left my mouth without my realisation as I dropped the phone to the ground and began to run.

I ran as far as I could. I didn't know where or why but I ran to feel safe. To stay away from him. But I couldn't ask if my legs gave up out of nowhere in the woods.

"Anna,how long are you taking,"Isabella screeched and walked forward to see Anna.

"Anna,"she called out and got no answer.

"Anna stop playing,I'm freaking out,"she shouted and took long steps further to find her but she didn't get a glance of her

"Annaaaa,"she shouted her name as tears began to prick her eyes.

"Where is she?"She questioned herself and looked down at the ground when she saw a phone lying down out of nowhere.

She rushed towards it in a flash and took the phone away from the ground. Looking at the black cracked screen she turned around to see the phone cover with a picture of doraemon which made her eyes widen, it was when she noticed that it was Anna's phone.

"Annaa,"she screamed as tears flowed down her cheeks.

Getting up from the ground she immediately rushed towards others.

"Did Anna come here,"she asked them as they were resting under a huge tree with a basket full of sticks.

"NO...,"Bray and David answered in unison where as Jackie gave her a questioning look.

Jackie's P.O.V

Why isn't Anna with her? Both went there together but only she is back.

Ella's face looked pale. She is so emotional that she cries before even discovering something. Her eyes looked wet and I knew that something was wrong.

"What's wrong,"I asked, getting up quickly and walking towards her as Bray and David did too.

"She was there with me,"she tried to explain but failed as tears flowed down her cheeks continuously giving her hiccups.

Did she lose or what.

"Calm down,"David tried to comfort her by rubbing her back.

"What happened?"I asked, looking at Ella with pleading eyes because I know that she won't be able to speak if she had cried but she should explain what happened.

"She got a call so she walked further to speak. But it took so long ,"she looked up at me and continued"therefore I went to fetch her but she was missing. And her phone was on the ground,"Isabella cried as she gave the phone to Bray.

"She wouldn't have gone too far,"Bray informed and we separated our ways to search for her.

After shouting her name and looking around many times we gathered in the spot we were told to. The same huge old tree,where Anna and Ella were there previously.

"She would have gone further,"I sighed while looking at others.

If she is not here for sure she would have gone further.

That girl, why the hell does she need to go.Anger is taking over me thinking that something would have happened to her because of her stupidity.

"It's gonna be dark too,"David informed.

"Let's move again,"Bray suggested and was about to go but was stopped by me.

Mom will be waiting for us and she will be worried if she knows that Anna lost her way in the woods.

She would be wondering by now why we didn't arrive and she might send someone to look for us.

"No!,"I snapped looking at Bray"mom will be worried,you all go,"

"What?,"Bray asked curiously by walking towards me.

"You all go. Dont tell mom about it. She will be worried by now as we are already late,"I explained looking into Baby's eyes to know that he understood"I'll find her.''I assured.

After a few minutes of silence with only Ella's cries Bray broke the silence.

"Okay,just be careful alright. Let me know when you find her,"he told me as he tapped my right shoulder.

"She will be fine,"I told Ella and immediately ran ahead to find Anna whereas others walked home.

"Annaaa,"I shouted ,but got no answer.

Damn it. She has gone too far. I ran ahead farther and called out again but got no response.

"Crap,"I kicked the dried branches on the ground because this is making me tense.

Oh God,I wont allow anything to happen to her. She is my girl.

"Annaa,"I paused on my way when I saw a figure standing near the lake with the back facing towards me.

I ran near the lake instantly and noticed it was Anna and she was crying. I could clearly hear her sobs in this background of silence.

"What the hell on earth do you think you are doing,"I yelled by walking towards her where as my temper was rising.

Why does she have to make me worried?

"Do you think it's fun to be here in the dark,"I yelled in anger again but she didn't move an inch.

And this was making me go mad.

"Cut the crap,"I said with gritted teeth as I touched her right shoulder which made her turn.
