I ran downstairs as Amy called out.

" Coming,"I shouted running downstairs as I bumped into someone.

"Sorry sorry ...I,"I looked up as I met with the black eyeballs. He looked unfamiliar. Is he someone new?

I stepped back and looked at him. Ohhh Anna he might be Jon' s dad. He is tall and has an evenly shaved beard. His eyes are small as his thick unshaped eyebrows are dancing on his eyes. His hair was light of a bronze colour which was pulled back into a style.

Ohh,he almost has Jon's kinda hair colour as Jackie's hair was always kinda messy but he is handsome as he is. My lips carved into a smile without realisation I knew it when his following question struck my thick skull .

"What are you smiling at?,"he asked amusingly.

"Uhh ,"I looked up at him. Seriously just the mention of Jackie's name would make me smile. "Nothing I guess. "

"Sorry," I apologised by bowing slightly in respect.

"You are Anna right,"he asked with a wide smile on his face. He would be in his mid 40's.

"Yes,"I replied softly.

"Amy is calling you. She is in the kitchen ,"he said politely and left.

Really he is Jackie's dad, how can he be so polite and Jackie be so evil.

Urgh why the hell on earth am smiling while thinking about him. He is just an idiot. Urghhhh im being dramatic. Yeah love makes a person act dramatic. What seriously does love make a person act dramatic? It sounds absurd. But why....

Anyways, why am I thinking about it? I am not in love right. Or maybe I am .....leave it don't think about

it.

Pushing the thoughts behind my mind I strolled towards the kitchen as I saw Amy standing at the counter with two girls.

One of them looked to be in her early twenties and the other looked to be in her late twenties.

I walked into the kitchen with a slight smile as one of them was looking at me.

"Hey,Anna. You remember me,"the one who is in her early twenties asked me as she approached me with a tight hug.

"Urgh,"I mumbled,because honestly I have no idea who she is.

She released as she looked at my face.

"You seemed to be lost. You forgot me,"she frowned.

"Umm I..,"I scratched my hair as I was thinking.

"She is Isabel,"the other girl said with a smile "and we are your in laws. We are Jon's cousins," she continued.

"Ohhh.......Isabel you were the one, with me in Amy's wedding right,"

"Yes,absolutely "she told with an ear to ear smile"you remember me nah,"

"Yes I do,"I said as I raised my hand up to have a high five instead I got furrowed eyebrows from her.

"Highfive,"I stated sheepishly and she did with a giggle.

"I am Miami," the other girl introduced and hugged me.

We all had a talk together and I got to know more about them.

Miami, she looked tall and she is 28 years old. She has married Jackie's, no why am I mentioning his name when the other two brothers are there. Alright let's start again.

She married Bray's cousin brother called Matt and have a cute little daughter named Mary.

Then Isabel she is 24 years old and , Umm she and Jackie have a day age difference as she was born on 17 where as he was born on the 18. It sounds cool right he is just one day older than her.

Mom appeared in the kitchen with three more ladies and I guess that they are Jackie's aunties.

Urgg Jackie again. You are supposed to stop Anna and pretend like you heard nothing last night in front of him. Deal. Yes deal.

Mom looked at us and smiled"Get your backpack dear,the bus has arrived,"

"Bus,"Isabel and I said or would I say shouted in unison and I looked at her with amusement immediately. High five I showed and did that together with a giggle.

She doesn't seem to be like an elder sister to me even though she is two years older than me.

"Yes,"mom replied, "Even I was surprised when Daniel told me this but he insisted saying that it's better to go together in a bus rather than going in the cars,"Mom explained and moved forward with other aunties to gather up the packed food.

"Anna,you arranged your bag,"Amy asked me and I put my tongue out as she tapped my head.

"Give me a min,"I excused and rushed out to my room as the laughter of others was vanishing . I stomped towards my wardrobe and gathered a few dresses and dumped them into my bag. I am glad that Amy is not here because she would surely pull my ear for not arranging the clothes neatly folded.

I opened the drawer and sighed looking at the pills. I grabbed them and dumped them deep into my bag below the clothes because I don't want anybody to see it especially the birth control pills as Amy knows that I sometimes consume sleeping pills but she always warns me not to over consume sleeping pills but I think I am continuously inhaling them for the past few days. For the past few days. Yes exactly since I began to avoid Jackie. Before that moment everything was fine, even though Jackie annoys me he gives me some kind of a feeling that releases my stress,moreover it's been ages of me getting a headache as I usually get the severe pain at the back of my head.

Zipping my bag I took the phone which was under my pillow and unlocked it to see many notifications

and most of them were from Beca. I opened the message and it read....

Anna you there_

Are you sleeping Oh Gosh if you are, how would you reply_

Shit! Anna I'm texting as you,I take my previous message back. _

I smiled and scrolled down.

Do you know what happened _

Did Jackie tell you anything_

I furrowed my eyebrows and scrolled down again

Alright anyways I'll ask you that later_

Bray and I had a dinner date_

And it was awesome_

You know actually he is awesome_

And the arrangements were perfect_

Moreover Jon and your goodie, Jackie were the ones who almost arranged it_

A wide smile appeared on my face as I read the word 'goodie'. That's how I call Jackie when I speak to her about him.

And the best part Anna_

He proposed me_

He gave me a ring and told me that he wants to marry me. _

I was shocked. _

I guess all the brothers have that way of proposing. I mean they say the four words, not the three words. That's freaking awesome. _

I pushed the thoughts behind as I was thinking too much about remembering me kissing back without pulling an inch away.

I looked back at my mobile screen.

There is more Anna. You know right I just wanna share it and that person is only you. Please call me or drop me a message if you are free as I am being too enthusiastic. _

Bray told me that you've been avoiding him for the past few days. _

I asked him how you were doing because you didn't even drop me a message or you were not online so asked him to check out. _

You know me nah I know how to get details from a person by asking questions. _

If there is anything just lemme know Anna it will make you feel better as you can't share something with Amy as she has no idea what happened in the past. _

A slight smile appeared on my face as I read her last message. She is so caring. She was the one who knows how to comfort me when I struggle with the nightmares sometimes as Amy was in another room at the hostel.

Me:Everything is fine:)

I replied and got an instant reply.

Bestie:you sure

Me:yupp

Me:We are going on a trip. Sorry I just forgot to tell you as I was not feeling that good for the past few days.

Bestie:Ik ,Bray told me that you all have planned for a trip as his dad has visited for vacation right. He is keeping on sending me messages now as I didnt reply ♡

Bestie"And Anna I guess that you, not feeling better is because of Jackie as you are trying to distance yourself from him but you really want or should I say need to be close to him.

Taking hold of my bag I stepped out of my room and as I closed the door the other door opened and I spun around immediately to meet those eyes.

Jackie's P.O.V

I looked at her when hundreds of scenarios ran in my head. What the hell.

I was such a jerk last night. I hope that she didn't hear anything but what if she has.

Ohhhh I ran my hand through my jet black hair looking at her intensy. Why am I glancing at her?

Pretend like nothing happened Jackie. Yeah that's right, pretend like nothing happened. I smiled at her and winked which made her look down and bite her bottom lip. As I noticed her cheeks getting a shade of pink.

"You can check your shoes later,"I blurted sarcastically and walked downstairs leaving her confused.
