Stacy was released and I could see her dismay and disbelief at the unique and horrific experience she had just undergone. Based on Jessy's words, she came to study after being admitted to Capital City University.

I don't remember that since what mattered most in my life was me. What other people around me were doing didn't interest me. But I believe I have heard her speak about a faculty of science and technology renowned throughout the world.

Stacy has always been very clever which, to be honest, has always kinda freaked me out as someone who liked to be the center of attention. But hey, I made up for this complex by making her my minion. But when I think about it now, I imagine I was always just a bitch.

She was dropped off on the main street with her belongings after her eyes were blindfolded, she certainly wonders what the hell happened to her and fears another attack. Of course in a city like this, her dizziness goes unnoticed since everyone prefers to take care of their ass and no one pays attention to the excitement of this poor girl.

"No, I'm not going to talk to her," I answered blankly.

" For what?" Jessy asked again.

" It does not concern you," I said bored.

" So cold haha, " Jessy giggled.

It wasn't really that I didn't want to go talk to her but it was that I couldn't. I decided to permanently cut ties with my old life and it would be really weird if I approach her after what she has just been through. Panicked as she is, she would start screaming like crazy.

I saw her take her cell phone and soon she was on her way to the station.

"What is she doing?" I asked because I didn't understand her actions. It surprised me a bit as Jessy started giggling.

" I imagine that after such an experience, she does not want to spend even a second in this very dear city, " Jessy sighed before he continued "She doesn't know what the worst could happen to her. She's wise so she prefers to play it safe."

" But... And her studies?" I almost cried, it was a pity.

" If I trust my instincts, she didn't put all her eggs in one basket... Haha, she has other options." Jessy said and I remembered Stacy's words.

Indeed, Stacy used to say that. I think the same as Jessy, she was certainly taken to another faculty but Capital City was the best option for her, I guess.

It hurt me that she had to give up such an opportunity because of such bullshit and Jessy's smile at that moment made me want to give him one.

" What?" He asked, almost amused.

" You find it funny? She worked so hard to get into this college and you…" I yelled at him but he took his composure.

" Listen, Sophia... You may have moods but in the face of reality, I will ask you to think more maturely. What we are doing is not just for us but for all the oppressed people of this city. So no matter how many sacrifices we will make, we will succeed in freeing ourselves from the yoke of this despicable Alpha. Nothing is done, no change, no revolution, without sacrifices so pull yourself together, please." Jessy finished talking as he pulled me back to where we were before.

" Well, it's time for you to honor your part of the deal, " Jessy announced

I pulled my hand from Jessy's grip as I looked at him unrecognizably. I had a crush on this guy but he changed, or it was just me who refused to see his true nature.

Now I can understand a little Elsa's aversion despite being responsible for his parent's death and also the anxiety of my inner wolf since the first time I met him.

The two never trusted him, forbidding me to approach him. It is often said that the first impression is the right one, but not in this case.

My first impression of Jessy was good though biased by his appearance while that of Elsa was tainted with unfounded hatred. Frankly, when I looked closely, I behaved like a fool.

We arrived at this horrible place again and the people he removed earlier had disappeared. Jessy told me that one of his associates took them to the place where the experiments would be carried out. But that was not what interested him now, he asked me to give him a sample of my blood which I did without imagining the huge bullshit I was doing.

This action will cause serious trouble to Capital City, its inhabitants, and especially to my alpha while revealing to others my true nature.

After the blood test, I didn't want to stay in this place anymore, I had come for a purpose and Jessy was starting to piss me off.

However, he didn't have time to think about it too much because Sophia reached out her hand increasing the pressure of her pheromones on him.

" Now, you are going to tell me what I came for, right away." I summoned him.

Jessy was spitting blood when he saw only an escape, he had to spit it out.

" He... His name is...aghh Trent...Grantz…" Jessy answered with pain as I abruptly stopped my assault on him.

Trent? This name means something to me... But where did I hear it?
