Spencer was in his room when he got a call. He doesn't like this kind of call but has no choice because the life of Angie and their child is in danger.

" Yes?" He replied half bored, half interested.

" We have something new. I want you to use this to add fuel to the fire. In addition, I have another mission that will surely convince your fellow men to engage in hostilities shortly."

Spencer gritted his teeth before thinking about his wife. Then he pulled himself together and accepted the mission. The dice are cast, and it is far too late to turn around. Once he completes his mission, this man is going to hand Angie over to him and when it all gets bad, he's just going to walk away with Angie. He knows it's selfish but he can only think about his family and nothing else.

He got up and walked towards the guild HQ. He had to complete this mission ASAP so Angie would be freed quickly and they could get away from Capital City before things got out of hand.

The meeting ended and Greg and I went home. I felt really bad so I tugged at Greg's garment catching his attention.

" A problem sweetie?"

I nodded yes and he turned completely to look at me.

" Come on, I'll listen to you."

I swallowed before I started.

"Won't I cause you any trouble after this is all over?" My actions were stupid and thoughtless. The actions have seriously damaged the treaty with the hunters and if it ends in war?

I asked really worried and Greg came over to caress my cheek before kissing my forehead.

" It will be fine, don't worry about anything. I promised you, I would bear the weight of your sins myself, you don't have to worry about it. No matter who is against you, I will always stand by your side."

Greg finished talking and finally, we separated but before that, a loud noise of something breaking was heard in the living room and we turned around intrigued.

" But what…"

I asked the question but we didn't have to ask for long because the enraged voice of Rayan was heard while the small voice of Pamela asked him to calm down.

We looked at each other for a moment and then ran towards the living room, we found Elsa sitting with her face down as she had grabbed her head with both hands, and by her side was Pamela trying to calm her husband down.

" May I know what is going on here?"

Greg asked, catching everyone's attention before I noticed that Tom's body was lying unconscious on the floor next to Elsa.

When they heard Greg's voice, they all calmed down a bit and we walked towards them, Greg came to Elsa who seemed downcast by the events.

"What's happening? I asked a question."

Rayan clicked his tongue and finally spoke. Even though his voice was shrill enough to try to control his anger.

I blushed at Rayan's lack of tact, then Pamela got up and scolded her husband.

Rayan gave his wife a cold look causing her to step back as he resumed speaking.

Elsa spoke, taking Tom's hand and finally Rayan stood up.

Rayan finished talking about turning as Pamela ran behind him. I was about to do the same when Elsa spoke.

" The elders have decided that the packed tournament will be held in two days."
