Roberta got home a bit exhausted. But all her tiredness instantly faded away when she saw the little kid that she's taking care of. Federico Altagracia, Jr. She given him a nickname which is Rick.

"Hi, granny." the child immediately run towards her and hugged her.

"Hey little Rick, how are you?" she hugged back Rick and kissed him.

"I'm not good because you did not let me come with you." he said while pouting his already pouty lips.

Rick is a very good looking child he is like a carbon copy of his father Federico, but the difference is that unlike Federico's thin lips Rick has a bit thick and pouty lips.

He must have that from his unknown mother. A lips that can be compared to the famous actress Angelina Jolie, that's how Rick's lips look like. His mother must be a seductive and alluring woman with those kind of lips.

"Rick, granny went to a very far place you will only get tired. Look at me I'm exhausting. You will probably blame after taking you there." She explained.

The child once again pouted before speaking.

"But you have something for me right." He excitedly said.

"Of course, how can I forget to bring something for you?"

She then get a jag of gummy bears in her bag which is Rick's favorite. The child's eyes sparkle for so much happiness.

"Wow my favorite." He said.

"You make sure you brush your teeth after you eat that, okay." Roberta reminded Rick.

"Yes, granny." He then ran towards the living room and continue watching his favorite show.

Roberta had been serving Rick's family for ages. From Rick's father and to him. Roberta started to work as a babysitter of Federico at the age of 24.

Federico's mother, Feliciana is a Filipina which is her very close friend. They have been friends since childhood. Feliciana met the Spaniard Rico Altagracia and asked her to babysit their only son.

She took care of Federico until she met her husband and got married. She continue working with the family even when she got married and took her child at work. She owe so much to the family who helped her.

Her daughter became good friends with Federico. He is like a big brother to her. Now that her daughter got married and will soon give birth to her first child, she wanted to be there for her.

It is time for her to retire and focus on her family, she is already 52. Her age is not that young but not that old. She wanted to have her remaining days while she is strong to take care of her grandchild. Thus, her age is enough to retire. She has done so much for the family as return of her gratitude to the family. She have already talked to Feliciana and Federico. They contacted the agency to hire a new babysitter.

However, she needs to go to the Philippines immediately and she can't wait any longer. Her daughter will give birth anytime this month. It sounds weird but the moment she saw the girl who bumped in her earlier she felt that she is the perfect babysitter for Rick. She looks so familiar and she can tell that the woman is kind. Roberta could really tell that Rick's is in good hands with Emily. She will be at ease leaving her job. She just really hope that Emily will accept her offer.

She woke up from her reverie when her phone rang and it is from an unknown number. Her eyebrows furrowed as she pick up the call.

"Hello?" she asked the person on the other line.

"Uhm hi, this is Emily. Is this Roberta de Guzman?"

Roberta was caught off guard and speechless at the same time. She did not expect to receive a call from Emily in that instant.

"Hello, are you there?" Emily repeat as she did not speak for a few minutes.

"Yes, this is Roberta. Hi Emily. How are you?" She immediately replied.

"I'm fine Ma'am. I just called to talk about your offer. I have decided. I want to try it. But is your boss fine that I will work temporary? Like I told you this is just temporary. When the school will contact me back I would need to leave." Emily explained.

"I will tell him once he arrived. He is in the office yet. But I will convince him. This is really urgent because I need to go home as soon as possible. That kid can't resist my charm he could never refuse hahaha." She laughed.

Emily on the other line also laughed at her lame joke. But it is really true. Federico could never refuse her if she would ask a favor or she want something. Roberta is like a second mother to him. He loves her as much as he loves his own mother.

"Okay, thank you so much Ma'am. I hope he will agree. I really need a job right now." Emily said.

"You are very much welcome, dear. Just call me Aunt Roberta, okay? I will call you after my boss and me spoke." she replied.

"All right Ma'am, I mean Auntie. I will wait for your call, then. Bye thank you so much, bye." She said and hung up the call.

Roberta hung up the call as well with a beautiful smile on her face. Her problem is solved. She is confident that Federico will surely agree to it. A few hours later she heard a sound of a car and she is sure that it is Federico. She knew the sound of his car same as Rick who is now running towards the front door.

"Daddy is home." The kid shouted with glee.

Roberta smile as she was watching the father and son smiling at each other while Federico is carrying his son. She then caught their attention by faking a cough. Federico looked at Roberta's direction obviously he did not notice her. All his attention was focused on his son. He loves the child so much.

"Can I have a word with you, son after dinner?" She asked.

Federico put down his son and walk towards her to give her a kiss on the hand as a respect. He does that every time to show respect. Of course, Roberta was the one who taught him that. She also taught Rick that way. She made sure that he will grow up as a very polite and respectful man. Especially towards women and elderly.

"Okay, auntie. Is this about your retirement?" he asked.

"Yes." Roberta replied.

Federico let out a deep sigh before he nodded and advised Aunt Roberta to follow him in his office. His heart felt heavy at the thought that Aunt Roberta will no longer be with him and his son.
