Samantha knocked at the door of her cousin’s office. She has no idea what that b*tch Lindsay told him. She flinched when she heard smashing and cracking sounds from the inside. ‘What did that woman do?’ Samantha tasked herself. Lindsay really always brought chaos to her cousin. Federico has been through a lot lately and that woman is making things worst.

“Fede, what happened?” I asked worriedly as soon as I entered the room.

Federico throw and crushed everything that he could touch in his office. ‘How could they do this to me?’ He thought to himself. He could not believe that David could betray him. Is that woman really good for him to the point that he could exchange their friendship with that w*o*e? He knows he got some feelings for her but Federico thought David would stop hitting on Emily after he confessed to him that he is in love with her. But in the end, she was just a worthless and filthy gold digger. Federico did not know that his best friend is such a good actor. David convinced him that he is a good friend and never left his side for two months that he was heart-broken because of that scheming woman until Federico told him that he is fine and David should need to go back to his work in Spain. David’s vacation is only one month but he asked the hospital where he works with for his vacation to be extended. Federico even thought he was lucky to have David as his friend because he never left Federico’s side.

All along it was a lie. Federico kept asking to himself what did David feel when he saw him in pain? Didn't he even feel guilty about it? Because as far as Federico know he never did not even once do something bad to his best friend. He welcomed David in their family and did not even treat him with indifference. He did not even get jealous when his own mother showed affection to David and treat him like her own son by buying him toys and cooked food for him. They treated him as family because he is an orphan except Samantha who was like his mortal enemy. David’s father which is Federico’s father's close friend died because of depression when his mother left for another man. David's father commits suicide, he took his own life because he could not accept that the only woman that he loves left him for another man because of money and that is why David became a woman hater he thinks all women are the same. He thought they are just after a man's riches.

He hates women so much because he thought all women does not know how to love. His belief was changed when Feliciana, Federico’s mother and Aunt Roberta Federico’s nanny came into the picture. But Federico never thought David could do such betrayal to him. What did he do wrong? What is wrong with him? Why does all the people he loves betray him and hurt him? The pain was unbearable this time. Because it is not just one but two people involve and they are not just random people but they are the people who are very close to his heart. He loves both of them so much. Federico loves David not just like a friend but also like a brother. While he loved Emily more than my life.

He hates his own self more because that night on his son's birthday, wherein Emily told him that she is Rick's mother his love for her multiplied even if she hurt him by adding her confession that she just used their son for her own benefit and she don't love him but was just after his money. And now, he just finds out from Lindsay that Emily has an affair with David.

Federico continues throwing things and did not notice Samantha and his son came in.

"Dada!" His son's terrified voice made him stop.

"Couz!" Samantha's voice chorused with Rick.

"What go on?" (What's going on?) Asked Rick.

"This is nothing son." Federico said to his son. But the frightened kid ran away to the door.

"Kiddo." Federico called out but Rick did not listen.

It was the first time that the innocent little boy saw his father going wild, very fierce and really scary. Federico tries to run after him but Samantha stopped him.

"Let me handle him. I'll get back to you. I need to know what did that criminal witch told you." Samantha suspiciously said.

Federico just nods and calm himself by breathing in and out deeply. He was so foolish to let himself be out of controlled because of anger and frustrations. Now his son sees him in that state where he looks like a savage animal who will blindly devour anyone who comes in his way.

After calming himself, he then ordered a phone for Lindsay. He ruthlessly throws her phone and knowing Lindsay, she is not that much well off to buy herself another phone in just a blink of an eye. He then reached for the intercom and called the general services to clean his office.

“What happened here?” Feliciana’s devastated voice echoed at Federico’s office.

He did not reply. Federico was about to go out to breath some fresh air when he came across his mother. Seeing that her son did not have any reaction, the woman continued. “My son, what are you doing? Fix your life, you can’t solve your problems by breaking all the things that you could hold.”

“Mom, I can’t believe that Emily will do this to me. She was having an affair with David. That ingrate b*st*rd! All he could ever think of was his l*st. I know he will leave Emily one day when he got enough of her. He was just using her and that vicious woman, she’s nothing but a bloodsucker parasite.” He said to his mother as he clenches his fist.

“Who told you that and where did you find such information?” Feliciana asked furiously.

“It doesn’t matter, mom. What’s important is that I discovered the traitors, they don’t stand a chance in my life anymore.” Federico’s voice was full of hatred.

But Feliciana refuse to believe it. “Are you hearing yourself? I don’t know Emily that much but I can see that is she not that kind of woman, even your Nana Roberta can see that she is a good woman and of course I can attest to David that he will never do that to you. Whoever that person told you that, he or she is lying through his or her teeth.”

“Mom, I saw them with my own eyes. I saw it perfectly.” Federico said.

“You should make sure that what you saw is legit. Don’t jump to conclusions easily. A lot of people died from wrong assumptions.” Feliciana advised her son patiently.

The mother and son left afterwards. Federico’s office needs to be cleaned so it should be emptied out by anyone’s presence except the cleaners. Feliciana brought her son to a memorable place that she used to take him when he was young. Feliciana convinced her son to take a break for a while and make beautiful memories with her at the moment. The latter agreed and he thought he made the right decision since he did feel good spending time with his mother. He forgotten his sorrows for several minutes.
