"I am right. I really made the right decision." I whispered but David heard me.

"No, you didn't. You should have told Federico or me. What you just did is very wrong. You hurt my friend so much, do you know that?" He said scolding me.

I bow my head because I don't want him to see my tears. I secretly wiped them and gulped before I speak.

"It was more painful for me, David. To see all of you that I loved so much got hurt. My mother was brought to the hospital as well as Kim. She almost had a miscarriage because of what I did." I explained.

"What! I know that your friend was taken to the hospital by her husband but I don't have any idea that your mother was taken to the hospital" David exclaimed.

"When I said those lies to Federico's mother's chest started to ache until she had difficulty in breathing. When I runaway she collapsed. I have no idea as well until I received a call from my brother the next morning. I did not go home, I stayed in a hotel."

"They still don't know anything until now?" David asked.

"Yes, they don't know anything," I replied.

"Yeah, you are scared that Lindsay might harm them right?" David asked again.

"Yes," I confirmed.

David then held my hand and looked deep into my eyes. I did not feel that he is taking advantage of me. The way he touched me and looked at me is a pure concern only. He just wanted to help.

"Listen, Emily. I am here for you and I will do my best to help you and Federico. Even if I lay my life on the line just to protect you, your family, Federico, and his family I am more than willing to do it. Because Federico means so much to me, even if I always bully him this sounds so gay but I love him. I love Aunt Feliciana because she is the only woman who showed me how it's like to be loved and be taken care of by a mother. They treat me like family and they are the people who made me feel what it's like to have a complete family." David said.

"Thank you so much, David." I sincerely said.

After the dinner and the long talk at the restaurant, David sent me home. He laid his plan to me on how to catch Lindsay to stop her wickedness will end. He assured me that everything will be fine and that I should just trust him. He also informed me that Federico is angry with me and decided to be like David and that is to not take love seriously. Once again, I got hurt and blamed myself for everything. Another painful news from David is that Lindsay is always visiting Federico even if the whole family and even the maids are treating her badly because of what he did to Federico before.

"She really had a thick face to show up every day in the mansion even if the people there are obviously showing her that she is not welcome." I angrily said.

"She is trying to get Rick's approval. She is giving him toys and candies. She is trying her best so he will be comfortable with her." David said.

I was devastated about the news that David told me. That woman should not go near my son. What if she would hurt him? I was so worried and I panicked as well. I know what that woman is capable of. Just for her own sake and advantage, she can do anything.

She will do bad things without remorse and it is not impossible that she is capable of hurting an innocent child

"What? David, what if she hurt my son?" I said.

The anger that I feel was replaced with worry.

"Don't worry I have the savage lesbian on the lookout. For the first time, she cooperate with me and we got along." He said.

"Who is the lesbian savage you are talking about?" I asked because I did not know any lesbian or gay on Federico's family and friends.

"Federico's cousin. You know that boring and violent Samantha." David said those mean and insulting words to Samantha but his eyes twinkled like stars and it is really weird.

Something's fishy. It seems like David has some sort of special feelings towards Samantha.

"How could you refer to her as a savage lesbian when she is a very gorgeous and a very classy woman?" I asked while my eyebrows furrow.

"You have no idea." He simply said.

I just laugh and turn on the keys to my apartment as we just arrived and he said he will not go unless I got inside to make sure I am safe.

"Well, I really don't have a clue as well. Maybe next time you can tell me." I said.

"I don't want to talk about her it gives me goosebumps." He said but his eyes still twinkling.

"Your eyes tell otherwise, David," I said while laughing.

"What do you mean?" He said as if he does not have a clue.

"Never mind. I need to get inside. Drive safely." I said and waved goodbye before closing the door.

"Bye." He said. I even saw him waving goodbye before I had totally closed the door.

That night I was a bit at peace, unlike the previous nights when I can barely sleep and just cried and cried. But now is different, after I cleaned myself and got to bed. I was able to sleep automatically. Maybe because I finally find a solution to my problem with the help of David. I hope that everything goes well for all of us and Lindsay will pay for all the things she had done. She needs to pay for the crime she had done. That man needs justice and she has no right to take his life. No one has the right to take someone's life.
