Chapter 26: Chapter 26

Saying this house is beautiful would be the understatement of the century. It is jaw dropping and absolutely beautiful. I step in looking all directions, trying my best to take in the entirety of the beauty. From the clean polished wooden floors to the cleanly wiped glass in most corners. Every intricate decoration filling the house is amazing, I had definitely not given this house much praise when I was outside.

I take off my sneakers when we are in the foyer and carefully place them in the corner, I run over to Isaac who has already walked a few feet away so that I do not get lost in the large mansion. I follow him into the living room and let out a loud gasp when I look at the amount of white covering the room, I would have definitely looked like a devil if I was in black clothes amidst all this white.

I stare up at the ceiling when I notice the large chandelier, dangling over me. Yeah. He has got a dang chandelier. The thing looks absolutely beautiful but a bit unnecessary anyways who am I even question.

Everything in this house screams, expensive and fragile. Even the seats look priceless.

My pack has its own share of money. My parents are able to take care of any necessities and I have never ever complained about anything but something tells me Isaac's pack has a great deal of loaded money on them. I stay in the same position as I stare at the swirling staircase and back to the way leading to the kitchen. I hope this house has magnificent food like it is magnificent appearance.

"Are you gonna come in now?" Isaac ask, bringing me out of my trance.

"Oh....um, I think I'm gonna take a step back." I say taking a step backwards. I do not think that I will be able to live with myself if I mess the place up.

"Just come on in before I drag you in. Nothing here is as expensive as your mind makes it seem." He says with a smile.

"I don't believe you. All this stuff looks like it’s meant to be in some museum." I whisper back

"Just come on in. You're gonna have to live here so you better get used to the "museum look."" He says putting air quotes on 'museum look'.

"But lo-" I begin.

"Get your pretty ass in here."

"Okay." I reply and raise my hands in the air and walking to stand by his side.

"Let's go get you something to eat!" Isaac exclaims into the silent house before lifting me off my feet and placing me on his shoulders. We all know the foolish comments that came the last time he carried me like this.

"Put me down!" I squirm.

"Just calm down baby. I don't want you gazing at the house and stopping in your tracks."

That makes sense. If he places me down I might slow the process of going to the wonderful world of food with all my gazing. This house really looks like something you would only see on Pinterest of Tumblr.

"Don't call me that." I smack his back.

"Call you what, baby?" he teases.

"That. It sounds stupid." I fake a shudder at his pet name.

"I don't know....I kinda like it." He says and I can feel the stupid smirk on his face.

"Well I don't like it." I reply, still fiddling on his shoulder. "Now would you put me down?"

I am finally slumped onto a stool, happy that I am no longer on the shoulders of a 6ft man. I stare at the kitchen loving the intricate design and how everything looks fragile but at the same time fit for the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat?" Isaac asks walking around the island and opening one of the cabinets.

"I don't know." I shrug. "Anything."

"Excellent!" He exclaims sarcastically. "I very well know how to make excellent "anything."" His sarcasm is really on a roll today, it is almost amusing if it was not meant for me.

"Just make something worth eating." I reply, placing my elbows on the island and leaning forward. “Do you need help by the way?” I ask with a smile.

"Okay." He says rubbing his hands together and opening one of the cabinets. "Macaroni and cheese it is then." He says and throws me an apron.

The sound of macaroni and cheese makes me smile. I did grab Allan's bowl of food, though it was sad on his part, it was funny and yummy for me.

-

I quietly eat my food quietly enjoying the wonderful taste. I did not realize that I was this hungry until I shoved the food in my mouth and let it run down my throat.

"Where the hell did you get your lady like manners from?" Isaac asks, his words floating in sarcasm.

"Well if you may know, I did go to those schools where they teach lady like manners." I lie with food in my mouth.

"Oh, they did such a wonderful job," Isaac replies swallowing his Macaroni and cheese. "Look at you eating so gracefully. Your plate looks sparkling clean."

I look at my plate and notice that all the food is done. Wait it was right here. Where the heck did it go?

I look up to Isaac who is now full on laughing. As cliché as it might sound, and I am not a fan of cliché, his laugh is one of those sounds that you would listen to all day long. I could sit here and never stand up again, that is if there is also food. I just do not seem to have my thoughts in the right place when this man is around me.

"I wanted to tell you sooner that your food was done but the whole scene was too much to just let you stop. It's like you couldn't accept that it's done." He says still laughing and fiddling with his food.

"Are you making fun of me?" I ask directing my best glare at him.

"Lucky for me I only have to clean one plate." He says ignoring me and laughing.

"Isaac!" I threaten with a glare.

"I swear that plate has been eaten clean." He says now holding his sides.

"Okay, that's enough."

I stand up from my seat and go around the island. I lunge at him, hoping for him to topple off his stool and onto the floor but instead he grabs my hand and we are both sent flying and landing on the floor with a loud thud. Isaac breaks the fall and I land on top of him. I groan as I raise my head, only to be faced with those deep blue green eyes that send me into a trance. Even through all the clothing I feel all the sparks with being in contact with him.

He stares back at me and my eyes drift to his lips missing the sensation of his soft lips being on mine. The memory of his lips on mine just few days ago echoes through my mind and I let my tongue glide over my lips, licking them.

A strange pull of gravity pulls me closer to his face or maybe I am just the one leaning closer either ways I am not complaining. Before anything else Isaac pulls me closer and his lips crash on mine. I lean closer to him, loving the taste of his lips on mine that I have missed so much.

Different emotions swirl through me. Isaac's hands glide down to my hips as he deepens the kiss. Shocks fire through my body, our lips molding together as if it is a puzzle that has finally been solved. Before I can pull away, Isaac stands up holding onto me and not pulling away. My legs wrap around his torso and hands go straight behind his neck and into his hair, viciously grabbing at the roots of his hair.

He places me on the island and stands in between my legs not letting go of the kiss, his hands leave trailing marks on the back of my dress as the glide down to hold my hips. We finally pull away for air after a while.

Isaac's forehead leans on mine as his minty breath flashes on my skin sending tingly sensation around my body making me feel weak.

"I've missed you." He says still catching his breath.

"I'd be a terrible liar if I said I didn't." I reply with a small and shaky smile.

"I couldn't sleep last night. I missed you so much."

"I thought I was the only one who couldn't sleep. I kept shuffling and turning and everything. It was hell." I blabber. "My sheets and pillows were everywhere. It was a me-"

Before I can continue blabbering, Isaac crashes his lips on mine again awakening the shocks.

He kisses me softly but also pouring in all his feelings into the kiss making my legs give up on me, glad that I am not standing. His hand leaves my hip and cups my cheek while the other glides up and down my body. Before he can deepen the kiss a loud scream makes as pull away and quickly look at the boy standing at the entrance staring with shock on his face.

Immediately loud footsteps follow after and standing next to boy is a very shocked but amused Alex. Alex gives me a grim smile and I immediately notice the position Isaac and I are in. I push him away slightly as my cheeks heat up with embarrassment.

I quickly get off the island and stand next to Isaac silently. Everyone just stands in silence not saying a word. Isaac looks at Alex and the boy calmly but his face showing slight features of annoyance.

"Isaac, who is she?" The boy who looks at least fifteen or fourteen asks.

"Alex, aren't you guys supposed to be with Nina?" Isaac asks ignoring the boy.

"Yah, but we thought we would come play some video games among other stuff." Alex replies. "But then it looks like we disturbed something."

I stare at the boy who now looks impatient. With instinct I walk towards him. I do not know why I walked towards him but maybe it is because of the similarities I see in him that are also in Isaac. I look at the boy and then at Isaac and remember the mention of his younger brother and I smile. So this is the owner of the video game collection back at the holiday home.

"Hi." I say with a smile trying to avoid my embarrassment." I'm Aleisa." I let out my hand for a handshake but instead he just stares at Isaac.

Ouch, no offense taken.

"Who is she? She's different from the others, she's actually introducing herself."

Others? Which other?

"Because she is different." Isaac finally replies. "Aleisa, this is Caleb my little brother."

"I'm not little anymore." He Huffs but that does not support his argument because of the way his cheeks puff up, full with cuteness.

"Whatever. Caleb, this is Aleisa my mate."

Before I can say another word, Caleb pulls me into a life threatening hug.

Even though he is probably fifteen he is still a few inches taller than me. If not for his young features he would qualify to be older than me because of height. I try to catch my breath as I think back to all those times I gave Allan bone crushing hugs and feel sorry for him.

I cannot breathe.

"Caleb, let go. You're going to kill her." Isaac says.

"Oh sorry." Caleb apologizes and finally let's go.

"It's okay." I say with a smile.

"Isaac can I talk to you." Alex asks.

"Sure." Isaac replies. “We’ll be back soon. In the meantime, Caleb please don't kill her with your hugs."

I watch as Isaac and Alex leave the kitchen. I smile and turn back to Caleb who has an excited look on his face. I have never been more afraid of a fifteen year old. The smile on his face screams danger.

"So Aleisa, want to do anything else apart from making pups with my hotheaded brother?" He asks with a smirk.

I finally notice the similar features Isaac and Caleb share apart from the dark brown hair and almost similar smirk they both share a similar eye color but Caleb's eyes show a glint of mischief in them. I guess that I am not getting my wish to have a little brother who does not have his mind in the gutter.

"It wasn't that bad." I reply, my cheeks now red.

"I'm just glad I stopped you before you could take away the food and kitchen's innocence."

"Yeah, whatever." I answer with a smile. At least I am getting along with the brother.

"Call of duty?"

"Let's do this!" I exclaim.

"I like you already."
