Chapter 25: Chapter 25
Lydia shake her head and closes her eyes as she tries to fathom what he just said. Of course everything he is saying makes no sense at all. How could I be his girlfriend the first time when he saw me? We literally had an argument in the presence of the whole student body and went on ahead to act as if we do not know each other’s existence.
"I'm very confused, I thought Aleisa didn't like you." Lydia muses looking unsettled.
"Don't worry, it's a hate to love story. All you have to know is she's mine." He says before draping his arm around my waist.
I hear loud gasps around the room as I notice that everyone was still hearing in on our conversation. Silent whispers and murmurs follow afterwards.
"Ah." Allan says with a smirk. "We've now reached the point where everyone in school hates you -he points at me still behind his book- because you're dating this so fine creature, with a body sculpted by gods." The sarcasm in his voice makes Lydia and I let out small chuckles.
"But I'm not even dating him." I let out.
"Denial is not the way out of things, babe." Isaac answers directing me a wink. “Thanks for the compliment Allan.” He adds and looks over to Allan who just rolls his eyes even more and continues reading his book.
"Fxck you." I mutter.
"Not the right place and time, babe." He says a fully grown smirk covering his face.
"So we've already past the perverted remarks, moving fast I see." Allan muses.
"Shut up." I motion to Allan. What is up with Allan and the occasional comments of his as if he knows how everything is going to be moving from now on.
Before Isaac could say anything else the bell rings.
"Bye." I say standing up hurriedly.
"No kiss." Isaac asks, playing the 'I’m hurt by your actions' card by placing a hand over his chest.
"You don't deserve one." I say starting to walk out.
"Wait, we got the next class together." A voice calls from behind and I turn around.
"No we don- oh yah, let's go." I say grabbing a hold of his hand.
"Why are we walking so fast?" He asks.
"Because we have to be early for class."
"Since when do you care about being early for class?"
"Since today." I reply.
"There's been a lot of change in you today." Allan says gesturing to my dress. "And the person you wore it for didn't even notice." He says chuckling.
"Who said I wore it for him? I wore it because I like it." I respond shrugging but I have a feeling my crimson cheeks say otherwise.
"Ah, there it is, number six." Allan says. "You're blushing."
"What?" I ask now worried because of the way he has been acting because of that book. "What are you going on about?"
"Nothing. Let's go we'll be late." He replies before pulling me into our next class.

Not to self: find a new seat during Chemistry.
Fifty minutes sitting behind your mate during class. I think my hormones have never gone on so much overdrive than they have in these fifty minutes. The fucker, knows exactly what he has been doing to me and keeps on turning around to flash me either his famous smirk or his dashing smile that shows his pearly whites.
What was the teacher thinking when he made me sit behind a 6 ft. 7 guy who has a way of flexing his muscles in every position. It was so easy to have free thoughts about him when I did not know that he could hear me but it is now a different situations. His smirk establishing all my thoughts whenever he turns. Do you know how glorious his muscles look when he is scribbling down something and his smile just adds on to the package?
From the looks of things the asshole has been reading my thoughts because he has been smirking, chuckling and much to my annoyance and displeasure but also half pleasure not wanting him to stop, making me some lust teen sitting behind him with a wolf that wants nothing more than to jump his bones..
Imagine my loud sigh immediately when the bell goes off signaling the end of yet another eventful Monday. I take a few breaths of relief before packing up my stuff, I turn around to face a half smirking Isaac. I swear it is like everyone rushes out of class when Isaac is left alone with me. Why do they always leave me with him? Even the teacher is nowhere to be seen.
"You need to keep your thoughts to yourself because I'm telling you alphas aren't known for having great self-control." He says lowly nuzzling in the croak of my neck.
"Then you need to stop…r-reading my thoughts and sending my wolf on overdrive." I try to construct a strong sentence as he traces small kisses along my neck causing my breath to hitch.
"No can do. Don't you think it's unfair that I've kept away for almost a month?" He says gruffly still continuing with his light kiss. "I could take you on right now on this desk."
"Let's not forget most of this 'almost a month' consisted of you being a jerk." I say and push him away. "Keep your hands to yourself." I say trying to sound confident but my whole composure has messed with just because of light feathery kisses.
The feel of his lips on my skin is enough to send me haywire and lose my bearings but I am not ready to have sex with my mate on top of a table in school. No way, I have class and I am not easily bent.
"You sure know how to ruin a great moment." He mumbles. "Come on let's go." He exclaims happily.
He grabs my backpack and slings it over his shoulder and then grabs my hand and pulls me into the hallways. Different people glance over at us as he pulls me through the large passage and then out of the doors.
"What? Where?" I ask. "Allan and Lydia are waiting for me outside this torture building."
"Actually they are already on their way home." He answers and I gasp.
Those traitors could not even think twice about leaving me alone. I am willing to sacrifice 30 minutes of being early in school when I can be sleeping but they do not even think twice when it comes to leaving me in a torture building with the devil himself. Well a gorgeous devil but you get what I mean.
"What? They left me?"
"No, actually yes but I told them you couldn't leave with them today." He says smiling. "So come on."
"Fine." I huff before following his lead.
Isaac opens the passenger seat door to his car and I silently take the seat as he climbs into his seat. I smoothen the dress and strap the seat belt on as Isaac brings the vehicle to life with a roar. I settle down in the seat and look up at him as his arms swerve the wheel expertly as we drive out of the school premises.
"Pretty dress you're wearing." He says as the car joins the many cars in the busy tarred road.
"Am I supposed to say thank you?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"What's with the sudden change of color?" He asks, his attention solely on the road.
"What, is it that bad? I always knew pink wasn't my thing." I say. I remember telling my mom the same thing when we were buying the awful lot of colorful dresses.
I have always had a feeling that other colors apart from black would not look great on me. I look down at the awful dress and purse my lips, it is awful that the only colorful dress that pleased me in my closet cannot please my mate.
"It definitely is not your color but you look fxcking hot." He comments with a smirk.
"So which one is it?" I ask not picking up anything from his answer.
"You look great in any color." He says before stealing a glance of me and turning back to the road.
"You know we are going the opposite way, my home is the other way."
"That's because we are not going to your home, we are going to our home." He replies.
"What do you mean by that?" I ask but Isaac does not answer my question.
I look at the unfamiliar roads with anticipation. We take different turns that I am so sure if I ever tried to come here without someone who knows the roads I would probably be on the streets, lost for a week. I am more baffled by what he means when he said that we are going to our home. I notice that the road has grown from quite busy to minimally busy and then it is now empty after a few more turns and diverges.
After minutes of driving and taking different turns, the car comes to a halt and I notice the big gates in front of us open as a guy comes out and bows his head. He looks fairly young if you ask me probably in his early twenties with his dark hair and pale skin complimenting his dark eyes.
"Welcome back Alpha.” He greets. Then the guy looks at me uncertainty crossing his features but even though he does not look surprised just uncertain.
Has Isaac brought other girls here? I am feeling insecure right now. I really do not like the idea of other girls in his car or in his arms. Isaac turns to me with a small smile and look that says, ‘we will talk about this later’.
"Mateo, meet Aleisa, my mate.” Isaac answers Mateo's question and realization flushes on his features. "Aleisa, this is Mateo he is in charge of border patrol." He says with a proud look on his face.
The guy certainly deserves such a job, he looks very intimidating and looks as if he can kill with a snap. I bet the first thing trespassers see is him when they are trying to get in but they immediately turn around when the see him. I can sense the strength of his wolf and I smile up at him when he throws me a large and excited smile. I am taken aback by the change in emotion and how his serious look turns into excitement.
I nod in reply. "Hey."
He just bows his head in return before the car goes through the gates leaving Mateo behind.
"Welcome to Mediam Noctem Sidus."
I look around at the tall slender trees in the area covering up a vast amount of woods. This place is definitely perfect for a run. I smile up at Isaac as the one lane, well paved and levelled road leads us to his home. Our home.
The thought makes my smile grow wider and I turn around in time to see the grin on Isaac’s face. It definitely feels like home and I am ready to make it my home if I get to be with him. I look out the window at the trees and then notice a bit of civilization showing. A few kids are playing around and yelling around in excitement. I look at the road as we pass a number of houses, a few people turn to stare at the car and I smile harder when I see the friendly looks and the respect on their faces when they notice that it is their Alpha’s car. We pass the houses and then drive through trees again. After probably ten minutes without a house in sight the car stops and my jaw drops at the four story house in front of me
It looks absolutely from some movie but I am not that shocked Alphas are known to be immensely rich but his pack is surely doing better financially than my pack.
Isaac opens the door for me and I step out of the car. He takes my hand in his, leading me towards the house and opens the door to the house.
"Welcome home, my sweet little mate."
