Chapter 75: Chapter 75

They doesn't even know what to feel or say. The room where Hayfah was moved to had been filled with people from every crevice and corner. Tomorrow would be the naming ceremony day, and one couldn't breath a fresh air in the room.

Rayhan had been in Adyan's house since the day Hayfah gave birth to her Baby Niece as she named her. She hardly let anyone to take her without complaining or even crying. Words couldn't express how the girl is so much loved by her parents and their parents.

"Hayfah, I think Adyan wants to see you, he had been roaming around for the past thirty minutes," Addah Zulfa laughed, lifting a comfortably seated Hayfah up. Zulfa is Maami's first daughter, she's married in Katsina and had to came for the naming ceremony of the first lovely granddaughter.

"Addah Zulfa, he told you that he wants to see me? How can I meet him amidst his family members? Wallahi I'm shy," Hayfah retreated and tried seating back on the bed, where Maami made sure she doesn't leave unless she's going to the bathroom.

"Come on, who told you there's still this shyness towards your inlaws? Abeg leave or else I'll tell Mum wallahi. Go with the Baby as well." She collected the baby away from her 2 years old child and Rayhan, handing it to Hayfah whom has her lips pursed in a pout.

"Will you stop pouting already? You're a mother now woman!" Addah Zulfah softly smacked her shoulders and pushed her towards the door, laughing at the yelp she made.

Hayfah walked out of the room with the baby she still doesn't know her name, because Adyan made sure to make the name a mystery to all, she kissed the girl's forehead and walked into Kassim's room; that's their meeting point now.

She closed the door behind her and let out a breath. She could finalky rest and have some sleep, for she too is tired of the noise in the rooms and the house in general.

She was hugged from behind, and a smile slowly crawled to the ends of her lips. She felt how the warmth seeping slowly from his body almost melted her up, she stumbled and felt how her baby seemed to slip away from her hold.

"Woah, I still make you blush, Rania!" He rejoiced and turned around, and they're now facing each other, the product of their love before them.

"Hayatee, all these noise is making me dizzy, can we rest a bit? The baby needs a decent sleep also, because Rayhan and Aabis-son of Zulfah-couldn't let her sleep in peace." She stifled a yawn and handed him the baby, walking over the bed, stretching her body on her way.

He held the baby close to his and smiled, kissing the pitch of her nose. "Rania, I'm feeling like I've never loved anything like this girl, I love her with each fibre of my being." He ended his conversation and planted a kiss on her forehead and cradled her on his shoulders, moving towards the bed.

"Hayatee, is she going to be my rival? And you don't love your Rania anymore? I'm pained." She feigned a hurt expression and drew the duvet up to her chest.

He placed the baby between them and lay beside her, looking at Hayfah's eyes that were closed, and how her lashes beautifully casted on her cheekbones.

"But do you know who I love the most? You. I love you more than anything in this world, Hayfah. You're my best definition of love. Without I wouldn't be alive to witness the day I; Adyan Aliyu Ardo will hold the child I could call mine, biologically, not blood related.

Alhamdulillah for having you in my life, I'll forever thank Allah for having you in my life. Please keep being you for me, for our child, for the sake of Hayfah Talhah Muhammad. We love you, Hibbah." He leaned forward and planted a long lingering kiss on the soft cushions of her lips.

Hayfah let his words dance into her veins and hugged the red flesh of her soul. She felt his warm cozy lips on hers, slowly; she parted her lips and they had their first kiss after having their bundle of joy. Only that this kiss wasn't in the midst of moreye village, and they have their legs wrapped by a duvet, not the cold feeling of the river. The soft wind blowing at them wasn't that of the chilled windy village, but an air blowing out of an air conditioner.

Love was just a word between them. It was just the coruscation of what they're feeling in the red flesh giving life to their souls. Love would just serve as a string pulling their heart to a swing whirling their souls in a journey of life and sheer happiness.

She could remember falling asleep with hands as sturdy as mountains holding her firm, and a juicy flesh in a sync with her lips. She slowly squinted her eyes and her gaze fell on an empty space beside her, not even her baby child was there.

She felt a pang in her chest and widely opened her eyes, only for her gaze to fall on Maami giving the new born child the bath of her life. She smiled, that kind of smile that showed her utmost relief and gratitude towards Allah for blessing her with such parents she have never dreamt of having.

"Good morning, Maami. No one woke me up to have my bath, it's late right? People had started trooping in. Ya rabb!" She rambled in one breath and shimmered to the end of the bend, looking around the room in search for a clock to see what the time is.

Maami chuckled softly and shook her head. "Not at all, Hayfah. It's just 7:50am, and the naming ceremony hasn't been done yet. Get up and take your bath already, we don't want the baby's mother to be late." Maami chuckled and shooed Hayfah into the bathroom. Hayfah looked at the bathroom and smiled, how ironic life is; that she, Hayfah Talhah Muhammad is taking her bath in Kassim Aliyu Ardo's bathroom, it sounds funny to her.

She came out and met Addah Zulfah rocking the baby, and there was a try of her breakfast seating perfectly on the bed side drawer.

"Good morning, Addah Zulfah. She have been crying right? Haven't fed her since yesterday wallahi. She's as patient as her dear mother!" Hayfah laughed at how Addah Zulfah bulged her eyes out, baffled at how the words confidently flowed out of her mouth.

"Rayhan said you talk, but I've never believed her but today. It was real, Hayfah talks. Oya, before Maami came and dice me up; she've invited lots of people, and I am to look after all her guests. Feed the girl and dress up fast." She handed her the baby and briskly walked out of the room in a rush, afraid that Maami would keep on ranting complaints on her.

Hayfah smiled and sat down, she fed the girl and kept on staring at her face. She couldn't believe this is her child, she could finally have someone to call her Mama, or whatever it is they feels like. How she wished Abba was still alive, how he would've felt, she's sure he would've kissed her forehead and said a prayer for her. What of Mama? Is she was alive, she could wish to feel the joy of seeing her parents holding her child with so much love playing on their faces.

"May Allah lighten your graves, Abba and Mama." And she cleared a lone of tear that cascaded down her cheeks.

"Hey baby girl, I still don't know your name yet; but I'm sure it would be nice and lovely. Your Papa knows how to create sweet and captivating names. Pray for my Abba and Mama if you're hearing me. I love you." She landed a smooch on the girl's lips and placed her on the center of the bed.

With a heavy heart filled with the love of her parents, she stood up and dressed up in her lavish wears that adorned her beautiful self. She took the girl in her hands and walked to her room, where the makeup artist had been waiting for her.

She got decked up and sat there feeding her girl when Rayhan barged inside the room with a wide smile on her lips. "Addah Hayfah! I know her name now, guess what it is? She has two names. I'm soo excited!" Rayhan rambled in one breath and kissed the girl's temple.

"Ahh would Aunty Rayhan mind telling us the name? We would love to know!" Hayfah used the same enthusiasm Rayhan used, laughing at how excited the girl seemed.

"She was named Rukayya, but we're allowed to called her Mysha; which means joyous throughout life. I'm sure she'll be happy forever!" Hayfah felt a pang in her chest. She was sure this name has a hidden message that she alone could understand. Adyan named their daughter after her Mama so she could know happiness has engraved itself in her life.

She couldn't control her tears. Careful not to smudge her makeup, she flicked back the tears and pecked Mysha. "I love you so much, Mysha. May you live a joyous life as your name. May Allah bless you and have Rahma on my parents."

Mysha squirmed and slowly squinted her baby eyes, she made a funny face that made Hayfah laughed amidst tears. That's the beauty of having a child. It's a blessing no one could give but Allah.

It was afternoon already, the smiles Hayfah had given could be filled into tons of tanks and would still be left. She smile whenever she sees visitors holding the vases they made, and that makes her craves more of Adyan, she can't wait to have an alone time with him.

Addah Zulfah walked inside the room and sat beside her, heaving a sigh out of relief. "I'm so tired that you wouldn't want to know. Oops, least I forget, Maami's VIP guest has arrived, she said you should please meet them in Kassim's room, it's the only less boisterous room in the whole house. Let me go and call Mom, then you leave together." She informed and stood up, walking out of the room.

"You should rest and have some food, Addah." Hayfah yelled and steadied Mysha on her shoulders. She stood up and draped a veil over her shoulders, Adyan texted her that she should be ready, the photographer would be here anytime soon.

"Bring her here, let's go and see Indo's guest." Mum smiled at Hayfah and collected Mysha from her hold.

They walked towards Kassim's room exchanging some words. They met Maami walking out of the room to make sure the woman's driver got his lunch. She told them to wait for her and left. Hayfah turned the door knob and entered, without looking at the woman's face; she walked to the vanity stool and sat down, relieved that she could finally have some time away from the noise.

"Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihir raji'un!" Mom chorused and almost let Mysha down when Adyan that just got to the room held her in his arms.

The woman lifted up her eyes and she stood up, her eyes bulged like a saucers. "La haula wala kuwata! Please, is this real???" She turned around to question when her eyes landed on Hayfah and she lost her control, she fell lifeless on the floor.

Mom slowly slipped on the floor and burst into tears. "I told him, she wasn't dead. I told him wallahi, she said I shouldn't leave her, and I'm sure she wouldn't leave me as well. Ya Allah, Ruru am are you the one?" As if calling the name gave her life, she ran to the woman called Ruru am and fell on her, bursting into another set of tears, as the usually warmth she was used to seeped into her soul.
