Mr. Gerald looked at Malvin and Evelyn alternately as if asking the two of them for an explanation. Evelyn just waited silently for Malvin to explain to his father.

"She does live in my apartment, Daddy, because I asked her ... we were working on a big project where she had to be soft at the office a lot, so I asked her to come to live with me."

"When Marina came I was eating and Eve was showering in her room, we didn't do anything," explained Malvin.

Mr. Gerald was still in his calm manner, he didn't say anything, it was only natural for him to find that Eve did live in his son's apartment because she was his secretary.

"Marina, I'm waiting for your confession at the press conference tomorrow, and I don't accept denials," said Mr. Gerald, leaving the three of them behind.

Malvin got up and walked over to Evelyn.

"You trust me, right? Let's go home." Invite Malvin to take Evelyn's waist.

Meanwhile, Marina looked annoyed and stomped her feet.

"Why didn't you tell your dad if we had a relationship?" Asked Evelyn.

"We're all grown up, darling, without a word dad would know what 'staying at home means."

Evelyn was silent at Malvin's answer, she only watched the road ahead. The car they were driving drove slowly towards a boutique.

"Are we here?" Asked Evelyn.

"Yes."

"What for?"

"Looking for a dress for tomorrow's dinner invitation, you forgot?"

Evelyn just remembered yesterday that Malvin said he was going to invite him to meet his colleague's dinner invitation. She immediately ran to balance Malvin's steps.

"Give her the best dress, I want to see her look perfect tomorrow," Malvin said to one of the shop clerks.

After an hour of picking and sorting, Malvin finally chose the one dress he felt was perfect for Evelyn.

After returning from the boutique, Malvin glanced at the clock on his wrist, it was already five o'clock in the afternoon, he chose to go straight back to his apartment.

Marina has already held a press meeting to confirm the bad issue she made herself, she apologized to the parties who had been harmed for her actions.

Evelyn was relieved to see that her name had actually tarnished. The fact that Evelyn does have a relationship with Malvin and it is true that they live in an apartment will certainly lead to an opinion that the news that is spreading is true.

"I'm going back to my apartment," said Evelyn.

"Why?"

"Because anyone would think the news was true if I stayed here."

"They will think I have a relationship with you because I tease you with my body." Evelyn continued.

"I'm flirting with your body, Eve," said Malvin, touching Evelyn's facial bone with his right hand.

"But I don't tease you with it!" Evelyn snorted with a pinch of Malvin's stomach.

Malvin burst out laughing at Evelyn's answer. Then Evelyn walked out of Malvin's room.

Since the afternoon Evelyn was getting ready to attend Malvin's co-worker tonight, Evelyn stared at herself in the mirror. Now, she feels very insecure due to the news made by Marina.

"Ready?" Malvin startled Evelyn from behind her bedroom door.

Malvin drew closer to Evelyn who looked ready but didn't answer her question.

"Is it okay for you to ask me?" Evelyn asked doubtfully.

"Why?"

"His, you must be still thinking about yesterday's problems." Guess Malvin.

Evelyn stood and drew closer to Malvin. "I was still thinking about yesterday's problems because the news damaged my reputation, I'm just as crazy as you, but I ensnared you with my love, not with my body."

Malvin embraced Evelyn's body. "I really don't care what they say, but, seeing you like this, how could I not be tempted."

"I even have to endure it until I get home for dinner." With his trademark grin, Malvin teased Evelyn.

"You are always." Evelyn's face lit at Malvin's words.

"You look so perfect tonight, honey." Malvin briefly kissed Evelyn on the lips.

"We're leaving, yes," asked him.

"Yes." Evelyn nodded and followed Malvin's lead.

It did not take long, only about 15 minutes Malvin and Evelyn arrived at a five-star hotel.

The event looks very luxurious with the room decoration combined with gold color. Likewise, the invitees who were mostly rich people looked so graceful and elegant with their appearance.

Evelyn took Malvin's hand into the room and was greeted by the owner of the show.

"Hello, Mr. Malvin, thank you for taking your time to attend my program." Said Edo as he hugged and patted Malvin's back lightly.

"I am very honored to accept your invitation," Malvin replied no less friendly.

"Ah yes, this is my lover," said Malvin introducing Evelyn after receiving a cue from Edo's expression as if asking who the woman he was holding.

Evelyn smiled and reached out to introduce herself.

"Hi, Mr. Edo, introduce me, Evelyn. Congratulations on your engagement."

"Thank you, Evelyn, I'm Edo, nice to meet you," Edo replied.

"Please enjoy, the program will soon begin," Edo said, inviting the two of them.

After Edo's social gathering and engagement, they enjoy dinner together.

Evelyn was introduced to Edo's fiancee named Gracia, the woman looked very beautiful and elegant, her smile was very friendly. Thought Evelyn.

"Sorry, Mr. Malvin, the news of your secretarial scandal teased you, didn't it make your lover jealous?" Edo asked in between their conversation.

Evelyn who heard the question turned to Malvin, she unconsciously squeezed his dress. Malvin could see his lover's face, which looked red, immediately answered Edo's question.

"Actually, that's ridiculous news made up by someone who is jealous because I prefer my lover over him."

"And my lover is my secretary."

It appeared from their expressions if those who were sitting there were surprised by what Malvin said. Malvin stood up and took Evelyn's hand to come standing next to him.

"She's not teasing me with his body even though in fact his body is very seductive." Malvin put his arm around Evelyn's waist.

"With his love, care, loyalty, and intelligence to tease me and catch my eye."

"Her body is my bonus and luck," said Malvin long.

"She was my father's secretary for a long time before finally becoming my secretary."

"Thank you for your invitation, excuse me, Mr. Edo."

Malvin walked over with his hand still tucked around Evelyn's waist. He told the truth about his attraction to Evelyn not because of her body, but because of her loyalty and intelligence as he told Edo.

During the trip, they were just silent and busy with their own thoughts until they arrived and closed the door to Malvin's apartment. Evelyn hugged him from behind.

"Thank you for protecting me."

"I really have to protect you, especially everything that is reported is not true," Malvin replied as he turned Evelyn around and looked into her eyes.

Malvin brought his face closer and kissed her gently.

"Are you tired?"

"A little," Evelyn said.

"We take a warm bath, want? "

"Want." Evelyn nodded.

Malvin took Evelyn into her room and took off all her clothes. A few minutes later, the two of them were already soaking in a warm bath. Relaxing the body and relieving fatigue due to a lot of work and some problems in their life.
