Evelyn ran into Malvin's office to tell him the news Jenifer had just shown him.

"Malvin." Call Evelyn out of breath after arriving at Malvin's room.

"What's the matter? Why are you in such a hurry?" Asked Malvin.

"You know why the employees here hang out and whisper? They're talking about us." Evelyn said by showing Jeni's cellphone which she had brought without the owner's consent.

Earlier, Evelyn immediately ran with Jeni's cellphone after her best friend told her about the news that her friends were talking about.

"Shit, who makes cheap news like this?" Asked Malvin.

"Of course I am," said Marina, who suddenly walked into Malvin's room without permission.

"Isn't that right? So it's a shame if big news like this isn't published." He continued casually.

"Ve, you go to your room, I will take care of it," said Malvin closer to Evelyn, he didn't want to get emotional.

Evelyn didn't answer, she just glanced at Marina and left the two of them. Meanwhile, Marina with an annoying smile waved her hand at Evelyn.

"So what do you want?" Malvin asked Marina after seeing Evelyn come out of the room.

"Wow, you are being blunt, don't you want to play around first?" Said Marina approached.

"I don't want to mess with you," Malvin replied curtly.

"Then, how about we get serious?" marina still in a spoiled tone.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm going to ask my father to set us up."

"You are crazy." Malvin held back his anger.

"I'm really crazy because of you, you don't want your company to be destroyed, do you? Marry me, then you can oppose the cheap gossip."

"That is the only way to oppose the bad news, so think about my offer." Said Marina smiled wickedly as she left Malvin and came out of his room.

"Fuck!" Malvin cursed angrily.

With a calm demeanor and a flat face, Malvin walked out of the room. he will go to his parent's house because he knows, his parents are waiting for an explanation from him about the news that has spread.

Evelyn who saw Malvin leave the office could only let out a harsh sigh. He does not know what to do. this problem breaks his concentration for work. Then he took out his cell phone and sent a message to his boss.

"Where are you going? I leave the office for a moment, I can't concentrate on working."

Evelyn stared at the screen of her cellphone waiting for Malvin to reply to her message. after ten minutes still no reply from Malvin, Evelyn got up to her best friend's table.

"Come on, let's."

"Where?"

without waiting for Evelyn's answer, Jenifer got up from her seat and followed Evelyn out of the office even though she was having a lot of work, but she knew that her best friend needed her even if it was just listening to stories.

Evelyn ordered her favorite coffee and Jeni did the same. Evelyn's cell phone rang when she had just sat in the chair, she took the cellphone and it said Malvin's name on the screen, she immediately shifted the green button.

"Yes, Malvin," Evelyn said, putting the cell phone to her left ear.

"Later one o'clock, after office break, I want you to come over to my parents' house." Said Malvin.

Evelyn glanced at the watch looped in her hand, it was still eleven o'clock.

"Good," said Evelyn without asking what was the need, Malvin asked her to come to her parent's house, because it was clear that this was about the news that had already spread.

"I just arrived at dad's house, I'll wait for you at home, okay?"

"Yes." Evelyn switched off the phone, she took a deep breath.

"What is wrong?" Asked Jeni.

"Malvin asked me to come over to Mr. Gerald's."

"Do you know who made this news?" Jeni asked to which Evelyn nodded.

"Who?" He asked again.

"Marina." Jeni glared in surprise, he did know that the woman was also crazy about Malvin, but, he did not expect Marina would do like that. Because Marina's actions could damage Malvin's company reputation and damage his reputation.

"Does Malvin know?"

"Yes, he himself told me and Malvin this morning," Evelyn said.

"How sly that snake woman," Jeni said.

"You don't need to worry, Mr. Malvin will certainly be able to solve this problem," Jeni added to cheer Evelyn. He held his friend's hand to give calm.

Jeni was relieved to see Evelyn smiling again.

After 30 minutes, Evelyn arrived in front of Malvin's parents' house. He could see that Marina had also just arrived and was entering Mr. Gerald's house. Without waiting anymore, Evelyn immediately entered the house.

"Take it off, Marina!" I heard Malvin's voice snapped a little at Marina who was holding her hand in a spoiled way when Evelyn was about to knock on the main door of the mansion which was already open.

"Excuse me," Evelyn said, knocking on the door.

Suddenly the three people in the living room of the house turned to him.

"Eve, please come in." Said Mr. Gerald, Malvin's father.

Evelyn entered and sat across from Malvin, who was limited by the table.

"Uncle, she is a damn woman who tried to seduce Malvin. You already know the news, right?" Said Marina whimpering.

"I know this woman very well, Marinaso I know that the news is a lie. "replied Mr. Gerald firmly.

"I asked you and Eve to come here because I know that you are the mastermind behind all this hoax. So I ask you to apologize and correct this news."
