Chapter 134: Chapter 134
The other blood drops appeared in front of Fahm, William and Liam, without anyone to fight with them for them, the blood drops entered their bodies and assimilated with the bodies without the slightest pain. Instead, they fell asleep and seem to be having a sweet dream. William and Liam could’ve rejected going to sleep but they didn’t resist and allowed themselves to be taken to the land of dreams.
While asleep, the girls stood guard in a triangular formation. Williams veins changed from red to black, his heart also turned black, his body grew slightly and became taller. The muscles shrank to give William the body of a fit and athletic person. His looks changed and he looked handsome and charming.
Liam and Fahm underwent similar transformations, Fahm’ aura was chaotic but in this chaos, a balance that represented Order had been reached by his body. He also looked less stressed and a bit younger again.
Everyone who obtained the obsidian blood underwent similar transformations but it depended on the size of the blood. Those with smaller obsidian blood underwent less drastic transformations and those with bigger obsidian blood underwent more drastic changes.
Evan underwent transformation after absorbing the second obsidian blood and his transformation was different from the others. His skin turned slightly grey, he became taller but not leaner and his physical appearance was off the charts. If before he had looks of a rich young master, he now had the appearance of a powerful prince of a great kingdom. It was like he didn’t belong in the Url Kingdom but very far away where handsome and charming people like him lived.
When Evan woke up, his strength had rose by many folds and he was now a High Five Star Mage, just one more push and he’ll reach 6 Star and receive the quantitative change. He’d received a qualitative change when he entered the 7th Star stages. New ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄhapters are published on 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵✦𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮✦𝓷𝓮𝓽
Jersse and Adam had been watching over him as morphed into his ladies man appearance.
"Jersse, I’ve met Mr Bug."
"You’ve met Mr Bug?!" exclaimed Jersse.
"Yes, you’ve also met him. The librarian is Mr Bug."
"Now it makes sense, now it all makes sense!"
"Let’s go find a better Mana Cave, this one is useless to me now."
"How do you feel?" asked Lavender as William towered over her. With his taller body, his armour which was a treasure adjusted itself to fit him perfectly.
"I feel like I’m at home, where I actually belong. My vision has also improved, I can see like it’s day time."
William was now a Mid Rank 4 Warrior and Liam who was more handsome than him was Mid Five Star Mage. If he hadn’t focused most of his time in practising spells, he would have probably reached 6 Stars, he meditation was after all a 110% effective with a ten minutes cycle. Liam’s looks were so good that the maidservants kept stealing glances from him and noticed this but remained silent. He was only sixteen and hadn’t yet experienced much in the world but soon, he’d grow up.
"With me and my brother’s increased strength, I’m now more confident in us going further into the Fissures. Once we’ve killed enough goblins, we’ll leave this place."
Above the clouds, there was a carriage that moved in the sky and was being pulled by Griffins. This carriage moved at extreme speeds that only those with strong enough or with the sharpest vision could see it moving. Inside the carriage, Herald and Gerald sat on one side of the carriage and Zixin and his servants sat on the other side. Zixin had already fallen asleep and the old couple kept a close on him.
As the carriage pierced through the sky, the space inside the carriage trembled and the two brothers became alert but they were too slow to react. Three obsidian blood drops entered the bodies of the old couple and Zixin respectively.
When the drop of blood entered Zixin’s body, his heartbeat accelerated in excitement as the blood drop was pulled towards it with irresistible force and absorbed. It seems the heart hadn’t had enough as it coveted the other two blood drops. The two Heart Gu’s were then controlled by the Gourd Heart and pulled the blood drops with irresistible force and swallowed them. That’s when the marks on their ballooned bodies lit up and the absorbed blood was taken by the Gourd Heart and absorbed by it.
Zixin opened his eyes and immediately closed them again as he fell unconscious. Abigail touched Zixin to see if he was okay but this was a mistake she’d probably never forget for the rest of her life. Thick veins appeared on the thin physique like worms were crawling underneath the skin. She was in so much pain she started crying.
Sergi quickly pulled her hand away and Abigail continued crying and her cries spooked the brothers because they weren’t pleasant at all. Sounding like a mixture of a mooing sound, a bear’s roar and an alligator’s bellow.
"Defence mechanism...I triggered his defence mechanism...he’s undergoing some sort of transformation and shouldn’t be touched." she said.
"But that thing that entered his body, I have to find out what it is, whether it’s a danger to him or not." said Herald and grabbed Zixin’s arm. Their mission was to safely escort Zixin to the 4th Divine Lands and if something happened to him, they’d probably suffer a fate worse than death and Herald just couldn’t risk it, he had to know but he also regretted it after grabbing him.
Veins also appeared on his body, he wanted to let go but couldn’t, he wanted to scream but couldn’t. Like Abigail, tears fell down his face and Sergi shook his head and helped the man. Now, two people were crying unpleasantly inside the moving carriage. Gerald after seeing this had no plans of even going anywhere near to Zixin. If even his brother was crying from the pain, he wouldn’t be any different. The only visible change they saw occur was Zixin’s antennae growing longer and thicker like a dragon’s whiskers.
