Chapter 109: Chapter 109
Outside the the Url Royal Academy gates, a bunch of old man and women were waiting there. These old foggies all had fearsome auras that far exceeded that of the bandit leaders. In front these old people, the bandit leaders wouldn’t last even a single a single bout.
"I heard that the Retalior Royal Academy has stumbled upon a peerless genius who’s unrivalled in Illusion Magic."
"We’ve all heard about that but why bother ourselves with the Retalior Academy when it’s got nothing to do with us?"
"Normally, it wouldn’t but yet another ten thousand years has passed. Soon, the tomb of the Wizard Zo will open and when that happens. She might just take all the good stuff for her academy. We too should be hoping for a peerless genius in this recruitment."
"But just because we want a genius doesn’t mean that we’ll stumble upon it like the Retalior Royal Academy."
As the old foggies were chatting, footsteps sounded out and soon, a group of people appeared in front of them. They were led by none other than Zixin.
The old foggies communicate telepathically. Zixin then took a step back and Evan stepped forward and bowed to the old foggies.
"I’m Evan Wulliz of the Wulliz Family. I greet the Esteemed Elders." greeted Evan with a bow and the others followed suit.
"From the Wulliz Family huh. Boy, you’re very impressive and have capable with you." said one of the old foggies.
"Thank you for your praise." Evan replied with a smile.
"Since it’s gonna take a while before the trial ends, how about I take him inside to test his aptitude. He can’t wait an entire two months here with us can he?" said the female foggie.
"That won’t do. Do you want to snatch this boy right in front of us, not going to happen. I propose we test his aptitude right now to see if he has potential."
Soon, all the oldies agreed and an old man called Evan over. The old man was holding an ostrich sized orb without any colour.
"Pour some of your Mana into this orb." said the old man. Evan nodded and poured his Mana into the orb and the orb changed into seven rainbow colours.
"A Hexa-Elementalist?! He’s a Hexa Elementalist with two Rare Elements of Ice and Sand!"
"Hahaha, a Hexa-Elementalist! We stumbled upon a Hexa-Elementalist!"
"Retalior Royal Academy, so what if you have an Illusion Mage? We also have our Hexa-Elementalist with two Rare Elements, hahaha!"
"The Dean will be very happy to hear this, hahaha!"
"But first, let’s also test the others, maybe there’s another special one among them."
"That’s a splendid idea! The rest of you, come here to have your aptitude tested!" said the old man holding the orb and Jersse and the others came over. Jersse was the first to be tested but he had ordinary aptitude, Zixin was second and was worse because he didn’t have any aptitude for neither magic nor phyisal aptitude.
William also had ordinary aptitude with the affinity for the Earth Element but his War Physique was another story but still not enough to move them.
"Little boy, come here and touch the orb."
Liam walked over and touched the orb and it glowed in three colours with one glowing brightly. 9
"What’s this, Fire Element, Regeneration and Hunter Physique? No, something’s not right!"
"Of course something is not right you fool, he has the Bright Burn Affinity! And it actually came with Regeneration, he’s perfect for this Affinity!"
"Hahaha, two in one day, now that’s a first!"
"Young man, come over and get tested." Tʜe sourcᴇ of thɪs content ɪs 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝⁂𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖⁂𝕟𝕖𝕥
Fahm nodded and also walked over nervously. When he touched the orb, the orb instantly glowed with many colours that then shrank to create a nucleus that looked like a drop of blood. This drop of blood was too chaotic and unable to be understood.
"Awakened Chaos Bloodline! He actually has an Awakened Chaos Bloodline, hahaha! The Royal Academy is blessed, truly blessed!"
"Hahaha, how fortunate we are, three geniuses in one day and each is rarer than Rare Elements, hahaha!"
"Let’s go to the Dean immediately! I’m sure he’ll be over the moon!"
Inside the Royal Academy, on the last floor of the tallest tower, all the elders of the academy were gathered here. This floor was only occupied by the Dean. There were many shelves with thick books, some exuding an air of ancientness. The other elders actually looked younger than the old foggies and the Dean looked even more younger.
The other elders looked to be in their early and mid forties but the Dean looked like someone in his mid or late twenties. He looked like a young man yet to fully experience the hardships of life. In front of him was Evan, Fahm and Liam. Zixin and the others were completely disregarded and taken as air.
"The three of you are extremely talented. I’ll enroll you in the academy as special students where you’ll study under the very best tutors the academy has to offer. Are you willing?" asked the Dean and Evan nodded without hesitation, Fahm also nodded and only Liam didn’t agree. Instead, he looked back at Zixin.
Everyone naturally followed Liam’s gaze and looked at Zixin with fiery eyes, making his hair stand on ends.
"I can agree to the boy enrolling in your academy and swearing loyalty to the Url Kingdom to serve and protect it when the time comes but I have two conditions. The first condition is that William is recruited into the Url Kingdom’s Army and I’m given the job of a librarian. I do have qualifications to be a librarian!" said Zixin and took out his bronze ring.
"A Universal Librarian of the Bronze Grade, you really do quality for this position. Fine, we accept your conditions but the boys are no longer in your hands, do you understand?!" said the Dean with a cold tone.
"I understand. Boys, from here on out, there’s no need to follow me. You should now start treading your own paths and not waste this opportunity!" said Zixin without hesitation or sadness on his face.
