Chapter 106: Chapter 106
By the time Zixin returned to the city, two days had already passed and he had to meet up with the client around noon. The two boys woke up a long time ago but were kept inside his storage ring in order not to waste time and rush back at full speed. Zixin bought s lot of cooked meat and put it in his storage ring. The two boys were taken out.
The older brother’s name was William and the younger brother’s name was Liam. The two were from the Mara Clan of the Green Forest but were attacked by an orc tribe and completely annihilated, only the two of them had survived. Zixin went to his apartment, cleaned up the two boys and gave them clean clothes. They now didn’t look out of place and naturally blended in with the place.
And by the time Zixin left for the Wulliz Mansion, only an hour was left before departure. Obviously, he was going to arrive late and leave a bad impressions on his client but it was what it was.
By the time Zixin arrived at the Wulliz Mansion, the golden carriage was about to leave. Pulling the carriage were two male Centaurs with thick muscles. In fact, the carriage was surrounded by Centaurs of different sizes but the leader of these Centaurs had the largest and bulkiest horse body and his bow looked extraordinary.
Because of Zbethr, Zixin wasn’t a fan of Centaurs but still had to lower himself and explain the purpose of stopping them before they left. After a long screening process, he was allowed to enter the carriage.
Inside the carriage, there were three people, Evan, Jersse and a middle aged man with a scholarly vibe. Evan had his eyes closed and Jersse looked at Zixin with clear dissatisfaction and the scholar gave Zixin a welcoming smile. The carriage was big enough for ten people to enter so there was a lot of space.
Zixin and the boys sat down and the carriage began to move. Inside, one couldn’t feel how fast the carriage but it was moving pretty fast. And in this journey, there wouldn’t be any stops until they reached their destination.
Looking at the scholarly man, Zixin found him familiar but was sure that he’d never seen this man before.
A few hours went by and the carriage was deadly silent until the scholarly man started a conversation.
"Hello young friend, my name is Fahm."
"Young friend Zixin, are these two boys from the Mara Clan by chance?" asked Fahm and looked at the boys with interest.
"What’s so special about the Mara Clan?" his question was a tacit approval that these boys were indeed from the Mara Clan.
"The Mara Clansmen are very rare and are a people that is peaceful and not very social which is why they seclude themselves in mountains and forests. But there is something that makes them special and it’s their bodies."
"You see, in the Mara Clan, clansmen with special physiques are born every once in a while, whether it be the Strength, Speed, Hunter or Healing physique. These two boys seem to also have awakened their special physiques."
"They look ordinary to me."
"Young friend Zixin, they’ve definitely awakened their special physiques. The older one has awakened the War Physique and the younger one has awakened the Hunter Physique, a very rare case indeed." nodded the scholar to himself.
"These physiques sound the same, do you mind telling me their differences?" asked Zixin. New ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄhapters are published on 𝗇𝗈𝗏𝖾𝗅•𝖿𝗂𝗋𝖾•𝗇𝖾𝗍
"The War Physique makes one strive in battle even if they don’t have experience with wielding a weapon, the experience will come naturally. Put them in a one on one fight then they may win 5/10 times but put them in the battlefield and they’ll win 10/10 times. They are natural commanders with off the charts battle instincts, they can read the battlefield, strategise and grow stronger the more they win."
"Wow, so you’re saying I already have a commander who can win me battles? I just have raise them well and give them an army when the time comes?"
"You catch on quickly Young friend Zixin. As for the Hunter Physique, it’s a wilderness survival physique where strength, speed, defence, perception, danger sense and other traits are mixed into it. Hunters use tools, traps and the environment to their advantage, not weapons. Chasing down beasts for days is nothing to them and can adapt to almost any environment and thrive. This description is short because Hunter Physique are rare and not much is known about them. If you were to sell the older brother, I believe even kings and queens would be moved. What I’m trying to say is that these two boys are worth a lot of money." said Fahm with glowing eyes.
"Fahm, don’t worry. This boys are under my protection, naturally, I can also protect them." said Zixin in a cold tone.
"Young friend Zixin, don’t be angry, I was just giving you some advice, hahaha!" said Fahm trying to ease the situation.
"Mr Fahm, just out of curiosity, how much money are we talking exactly?" asked Jersse.
"Butler Jersse, I’ve already mentioned that even king and queens would be moved so you can just imagine how much money that would be." Fahm didn’t give a straight answer. Jersse then started to imagine how much money they’d obtain if he sold these boys, a hint of greed flashed in his eyes but disappeared as soon as it appeared.
Jersse felt like someone was looking at him and when he checked who it was, his hairs stood on ends. Zixin didn’t say anything and gave Jersse an amicable smile without any ill intent whatsoever but Jersse felt threatened.
’How is this possible? I’m almost a Four Star Mage yet I’m intimidated by a mere Translator? Now that I think about it, what Race is he? Insect Race or what?’ thought Jersse. Zixin looked at the two boys and his smile widened.
’It seems I’ve hit a jackpot with these two boys. If ever I were to build an army, William shall lead it. Now I’m excited to see what these boys are capable of.’
