Chapter 145: Chapter 145
"Surround her!" the ugly crone commanded coldly. The rıghtful source is 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝⟡𝕗𝗂𝗋𝖾⟡𝕟𝕖𝕥
Over fifty of her followers quickly encircled Cheng Qingsu, their Evil Qi palpable as they watched her, awaiting the crone’s signal to capture her.
Cheng Qingsu leaned against the doorway, her expression grave, warily eyeing these mysterious individuals.
Especially the ugly crone, from whom Qingsu sensed an immense aura of danger.
"Is this all the people you’ve got? Not nearly enough for me to slaughter," Qingsu taunted.
"You’ve got some nerve, little slut! Stealing our nation’s top-secret medical documents and killing my precious disciple. If you know what’s good for you, call out your accomplices now; otherwise, once I capture you, you’ll get a taste of being passed around!" the ugly crone sneered.
"Do you know? You really look hideous when you smile! With a face like yours and still daring to scare people, if I were you, I would have long ago grabbed a brick and smashed my own head in, rather than being cursed as a monster in people’s minds," Qingsu snapped back.
"You’re seeking death, little slut!" the ugly crone shouted in anger.
"Whom are you calling a slut?" Qingsu retorted.
"I’m calling you one!" the ugly crone replied.
"Haha... then you should be called the Old Slut!" Qingsu laughed loudly.
"How dare you insult me! I’ll kill you!" the ugly crone roared.
"Wait a moment!" Qingsu said.
"On the brink of death, are you, little slut? Are you scared now? Do you want to kneel and beg for mercy, hoping I’ll let you off?" the ugly crone gloated.
"Old Witch, can’t you stop flattering yourself? I just wanted to tell you something," Qingsu said with her hands on her hips.
"What is it you want to say?" The ugly crone asked, barely containing her rage.
"Why don’t you ask them if they’re secretly calling you a monster in their hearts?" Qingsu challenged.
The ugly crone paused, subconsciously glancing at her subordinates.
In the pitch-dark, though invisible, they all lowered their heads as they sensed the crone’s Evil Qi-filled gaze upon them.
Realizing what happened, the ugly crone flew into a rage.
"How dare you trick me! I will have you flayed and dissected!"
"Haha... I’ve seen stupid, but never someone as stupid as you. You’re nothing but a dumb pig!" Qingsu mocked.
With that, her twin jade hands moved swiftly.
Armed with two black Desert Eagles, she nimbly dodged and weaved, bullets whirling as if guided by an unseen hand, and with a flash, penetrated their skulls.
In less than a breath’s time,
over half of the fifty or so subordinates lay dead at Qingsu’s hand.
Click, click, click...
"Damn it! Out of bullets at a time !" Qingsu cursed angrily.
Frustrated, she threw the Desert Eagles and grabbed two short swords, powerfully leaping forward as boundless True Qi burst from within her, executing martial techniques as the short swords turned into chilling flashes, slashing through her opponents.
"You worthless fools! What are you standing there for? Kill her for me now!" the ugly crone raged.
"Yes, Master!" the remaining mysterious individuals replied.
Regaining their senses, they let out a low roar.
Facing the sharp sword light unleashed by Qingsu, they struck out with their palms, bringing a fierce wind, aiming to grab her head.
"Go to hell!" Qingsu bellowed, and with a fierce slash of her swords, three mysterious individuals were cut down.
As the claws of the mysterious individuals behind her lunged, Qingsu stepped with agile martial moves, dodging their assault. Her swords sparkled, and in moments, two more mysterious individuals fell under her blade.
"A bunch of useless trash! All of you, come back!" the ugly crone shouted lowly.
The remaining dozen or so mysterious people, one by one bowing their heads, all retreated behind the ugly old crone.
"You little bitch, I underestimated you. I didn’t see it coming; you have some skills! But this is where it ends for you," the ugly old crone sneered as she spoke.
"Old Witch, you think you have what it takes? Can you please stop bluffing?" Cheng Qingsu cursed while holding her short sword.
"Go to hell!" The ugly old crone bellowed, her body swaying and in an instant she was in front of Cheng Qingsu, pointing her cane which carried a tremendous force towards Cheng Qingsu’s head.
"Hmmph! Think you can kill me? Let’s see if you’ve got the guts!" Cheng Qingsu scoffed.
Clutching her short sword tightly, she fiercely blocked, and the cane smashed onto it, sending out a burst of sparks.
The massive force travelled through the cane into both of Cheng Qingsu’s hands.
Feeling a sweetness in her chest, Cheng Qingsu spat out a mouthful of blood and her body was flung backwards, crashing into the wall.
"You lot, take this little bitch down for me. The rest of you, charge into the room and capture her accomplices! She dared to kill my precious disciple; I’ll make you all spend the rest of your lives beneath the heels of others," the ugly old crone said with a cold laugh.
"Yes, Master!" the group of mysterious people respectfully responded.
Splitting into two groups, one encircled Cheng Qingsu while the other stormed into the room.
Cheng Qingsu, holding her short sword, propped herself up from the ground, exerting too much force, and once again triggering the injury inside her body; she vomited a mouthful of fresh blood and once again collapsed onto the ground.
Gazing at the mysterious people coldly advancing towards her, Cheng Qingsu bit her silver teeth, her left hand holding the short sword defensively against them, and her right using another short sword as a cane, propping herself up and blocking the doorway.
"Stop right there! Whoever dares to take one more step forward, I will show no mercy!"
"Hmph! Little bitch, still so arrogant at the brink of death, take her down for me! And soon it will be your turn," the ugly old crone said darkly.
"You’re courting death!" Cheng Qingsu said viciously.
"Hmph! Stupid woman, still threatening us at the doorstep of death, kneel before me!" the group of mysterious people growled in a low voice.
Their claws lashed out, reaching towards Cheng Qingsu’s head.
Cheng Qingsu struggled to wield her twin short swords in defense, with each swing of her swords, a trail of blood seeped from the corner of her mouth.
Gradually, her speed slowed down.
A mysterious man scoffed and, with a fierce swipe, knocked both short swords out of Cheng Qingsu’s hands.
The wolf claw continued relentlessly towards her face.
"Am I, Cheng Qingsu, really going to die here?" Cheng Qingsu thought unwillingly as she closed her eyes to the approaching wolf claw.
After waiting a considerable length of time, to her surprise, the expected wolf claw never made contact.
"Huh? What’s going on?"
Cheng Qingsu’s brow furrowed, and she opened her eyes to find the black-clad people frozen in place, their outstretched palms suspended in mid-air.
"What’s happened to them? Could they be mesmerized by my charm?" Cheng Qingsu thought narcissistically.
She lightly touched a finger on one of the mysterious people, and thud! That person immediately fell to the ground.
"Could they all be dead?" Cheng Qingsu wondered seeing this.
Looking at the dark-faced ugly old crone standing there and following her gaze, Cheng Qingsu saw a black silhouette emerge from the darkness, wearing a trademark evil smile on his face.
"Old Witch, you’re really full of yourself! You even dared to lay a finger on my little auntie. If you have the guts, try moving now, see what happens? Whichever hand you move, I’ll chop that very hand off!" Zhang Xiaohao said arrogantly.
