Chapter 43: Chapter 43

A few days later, Storm's mood improved. The pain of the past few days can still be seen on his face that Ashy did nothing but answer and exchange resentment.

He thought that maybe there was no hope that the two of them would be okay. Yet he wants Ashy to know what really happened and why he disappeared. He needs to explain why he had to leave and get away with Girlie. He will male it clear enough, he won't let them end for that reason that has to nbe misunderstood. He was also ready to release her if it would make her happy.

"Get your things ready. We're going home tomorrow, "he said sparingly to the front.

They eat one morning. Ashy didn't know if she would be happy or sad at what he said. She wanted to go back to her old life, but she felt a pinch in her heart.

"Thank you," she replied sparingly, but in her heart she wanted to say that hopefully they would last longer. But she thought that was not possible. What else can they do if they have to stay? For her, the book is already closed for the two of them.

It was their last day in that place. Just like Storm said he would take her home. Ashy took the opportunity to stay in the garden. She looked at the flowers that she would see for the last time.

Flowers can't live in Manila. They can't afford to stay in a hot place. That's why Storm and she dreamed of living in a high place because that's where she can grow the plants she wants. But she knew that would never happen again.

Later, a car entered. A gay and a man came down. She did not know them and that was the only time she saw them.

"Goodmorning ma'am, is Sir Storm there?" is a polite question in artistic language.

"He left for a while but he will come back too. Why?" She asked as if she wanted to know the purpose of the two.

He answer, smiling at her. "Ahh, today is our appointment with him regarding this house. We will ask him if he wants to change anything here."

"Why?"

"Because this house was built 2 years ago. He said then that he will gave a surprise gift to the woman he loves the most. And it looks like you are the one he's referring to.l. He wanted to assume that the culprit was painting your face. Yes, that is correct. We're just wondering if we can continue. Soir Storm seem loves you very much. He's very careful with what should be used here. He made sure it was safe to stay here." He smiled at her.

She went inside with the two. When Storm arrived, she was preparing drinks for her guests.

Ahe didn't mean to, but she heard them talking.

"So there's nothing to change here, sir. Even the painting won't be put up?" He was dissatisfied with gay questions posed to him.

"I will pay for it. But I don't think it is still needed. Just help me sell my house and I will give you a reward." He answer the two.

Ashy felt sorry for what she heard. She didn't know that's how Storm valued his promise. She didn't even appreciate it. She didn't even see or feel it. She knew she had hurt him and she didn't know how else to change his mind.

While Storm was outside, she approached him. But before ahe did that, she first mustered up courage.

She slowly approached him.

"Did your guests leave?I prepared some juice. Chilled first," she offered while reaching for a glass of orange juice.

He accepted it and then thanked her.

"Isn't this a nice place? It's so relaxing. It's good that you thought of building something like this here. " as if ahe did not know that the house was for her.

"Thank you, I can't use it anymore. So I decided to just sell it. It's too far from civilization. I can't handle it," he supposedly replied.

"Why, doesn't it matter to you anymore? This was our dream then, wasn't it? The one we wanted to happen, "she couldn't stop himself.

It does not spill. He took a deep breath then looked down.

"It doesn't matter anymore, Ash. We can't have those dreams, as you said. So I see no reason for it to stay with me, "he said passionately.

"So you're just going to sell it? Because just like you left me, everything is just as easy to forget." Her tears rolled down her cheeks as she stared at him.

"Ash I didn't leave you. You didn't show up. You passed me on." He looked at her with a meaningful look.

"Storm, is it hard to understand? I told you, I told you I couldn't go because Papa is sick and we have to take him abroad for treatment. But you didn't answer me. I have no choice but to leave without you even talking. I'm calling you but you're ignoring me. " Although it was difficult to do so, she explained her side to him.

"I lost my cellphone that day. I can't find it, "he replied truthfully.

"After we got home, I went to see you. Even though I knew your mom wouldn't let me in, I dared to go to you. But she told me that you have realized that Girlie is really the one you love and that you are getting married. I begged you to just talk to me. She insisted that you didn't want to see me anymore. I was hurt so much... until I heard that you were married and that you had left the country," she said, wiping away her tears that were already dripping one after another.

"I did that because I thought you were just relying on me. I did left you because Girlie needed me. She was sick then and she entrusted her child to me. But she didn't last long and died either. Ash, I didn't stop fulfilling those dreams. From this house, it's proof of how much I stand in our relationship. "

It is no longer silent. Eventually it spoke again.

"I was shocked when I found out that you are the one Paul will marry. I know he doesn't love you. He's just doing it to make up for our parents." Look away.

"What do you mean?" Surprisingly, Ashy dared to ask Storm. She has always been confused as to why he is against them to get married.

"Our parents died because of him. They were looking for him because he didn't want to be sure. They were disappointed not to see him, until the day came when the last will of our parents would be read. He was even angrier because almost everyone was there. I got mine effortlessly. As for him, he had to follow all the conditions before he could get his. If he didn't do that, all his property would go to charity. " his explanation while still staring at her. She can't believe what she heard...

"What condition should he do?" is the question.

"She should be able to get married and build her own family, have a faithful wife and have a child that I know is unlikely to happen." Storm's answer was serious.

"And I'm the one he chose like that? He made me a tool for his personal interest. " Ashy covered her face and just sat down on the bench.

"I'm sorry Ash if this happened. I've been saying this for a long time, but I don't want to interfere and come out as a villain in front of my brother. Though I feel bad for him, I still can't bear to see him hurt. That's why I'll sell it and I'll go away. " He held her hand.

"Storm,"

"God knows how much I love you. He knows how I kept my promises to you. Most of all, he knows how I fight for you." He bowed in front of her as if apologizing.

Ashy couldn't do nothing but cry. She looked up at the sky to give thanks. She didn't know what it was about, but she could feel the joy in her heart.

"We need to get home to Storm. I need to talk to Paul. He needs to know that our wedding shouldn't happen. I know he can ride, but it's not right for him to lock me up in something he shouldn't. I'm sorry Storm, but there's nothing someone else can do to help your brother but you. " Ashy hugged him.

He also hugged her tightly.

"Let me talk to him first. I have things to clarify with him and I know somehow he will listen to me. I need to explain to him things that he previously didn't understand. I don't want him to think that I led him. " he touched her face.

"But that doesn't mean that I will love you again. Our marriage may not continue, but that doesn't mean that we will be together. I don't want to promise and I don't want to hurt other people just to be happy." That's all, and ahe stood up from her seat.
