Chapter 35: Chapter 35

Saturday. There is no work for that day, so there is also no reason to get up early. There was no plan to go out and no one else to go with.

Ashy hugged the pillow next to her and closed her eyes. She wants to sleep again.

Later on, she thought of Paul. She didn't managed to call him last night because she was upset about not showing up for their fitting session.

Sje reached for her cellphone. It had no message or even a call from last night.

She just sighed as she stared at the ceiling.

She thought of Storm as the one she was with on her and Paul's wedding appointments. Once again, they are mistaken that they are the ones to get married.

She also came to the point where she hoped they would just get married. She laughed at her thoughts. Why she can't that guy out of her mind?

She also can't forget the night when something happened between them again. She bitten her lip to think about it. She missed Storm so much, his kisses and hugs became more aggressive compared to when they were still in college. He had obviously matured when it came to that matter.

She went through the same feeling again that she had never experienced with Paul. It's too much if it appreciates her femininity. They are just getting married and nothing had happened between the two of them. She was not asking for it but she just can't believes with how much he respect her.

"Ashy, honey?" She heard a soft knock on the door. Her mom behind the doot calling for her. She wondered why ahe knocked on her door. She doesn't do it every Saturday.

She quickly got up to open the door.

"Why mom?" She asked while holding the doorknob of the door.

"Paul is down there. Do you have an appointment with him?" She was leaning against the side of the door.

"We didn't talk, it is supposed to be yesterday but he was busy so he couldn't attend the fitting." She rolled her lips and looked at the ceiling.

"Ohh go ahead and get ready and he's been waiting for a while." Her mom said then turned around and to go down the stairs.

Ashy closed the door. She sat on the side of the bed as if thinking. She could not get the idea out of her mind and heart. When they have nowhere to go, he will show, whereas yesterday she almost waited for nothing. Nor is it that she is greedy. He wouldn't even call if she wasn't the first to reach out.

She deliberately did not act first so that he could wait for her and to get even with what he had done.

Her mother had come back twice to call her. Though forced, she also went out to face him.

When she came to their living room, she saw Paul, who looked irritated with the long wait. He just smiled when he saw her.

"Goodmorning, hon," he said as he stood up to hand over the flower and kissed her on the cheek.

"Goodmorning" she replied sparingly, and invited him to sit down again.

"Looks like you had a good night's sleep ahh. I'm sorry I didn't make it you see you yesterday. The meeting is important. I can't be out of that meeting . The company will lose a lot if I don't handle it properly." He explains that Ashy's irritation is obvious.

"Let it go, it's over. It looks like you're really the same as Storm's body, so your clothes will fit him. " she answer as she lay the flower on the table. Later, he asked and held her hands.

Ashy didn't look at him, instead she just sighed.

"Hon, I'm sorry please! You know why I'm doing this, don't you?" held her hands tightly to soften the sincerity of what he was saying.

"Tjen you kust also understand. Who is the bride to be who would be happy not to be with her groom, right? But let it be over, its done. Let's just forget about it." she just smiled just so as not to ruin the moment they were together.

What's also bad is that sometimes they just get together and then get ruined just because of his sulking.

"So now,I'll make it up with you. Let's go out, let's take a walk. Let's eat outside, " he smiled at her.

"Are you sure? Aren't you busy?" was supposed to be her question. Honestly, she wasn't in the mood to go out either. She seemed to prefer to just lie down all day.

He touched her chin. "No, this day is intentionally planned for you, my future wife."

"All right, I'll just get dressed." After saying this, she left and went to her room.

She didn't stay too long, because she knew Paul didn't want to wait.

She just wore a simple dress.

They said goodbye to her mother before leaving. She was happy to see the two together.

She knew and felt that her daughter had comitted to her future husband. She didn't know if that was the only reason or there is something else.

She was also unsure of the reason, or if it had anything to do with Storm.

After leaving the house, Paul immediately opened the car door. He let Ashy go inside and closed it.

They were quiet in the car.

They arrived at their favorite eatery. Here they get along. When it comes to food, they really should be together.

While eating, Paul suddenly asked.

"By the way, how was your day with Storm yesterday? Didn't you have a headache with him? It's because he's naughty, and I knew it. I'm sorry because I don't have anyone else to trust when it comes to big things." He looked at her before he munched on food.

"He's okay, we didn't talk much. After the fitting session, he sent me home. He was quiet when we were on the trip." She tried to cover up what she and Storm had talked about.

Somehow, she didn't want them to break up.

"Hmmm ... it'll be good then. I thought it would be hard for you to think about marrying me," he looked at her with a laugh.

Ashy just laughed too. She's been thinking , if she could tell the truth right there, would he still let him and Storm be together when they were alone?

Soon they finished eating. They stood up to aim at the vehicle. They agreed to take a walk.

They reached a park where the place was quiet. Perfect for couples, especially if it's a bit emotional to talk about. There, she decided to tell Paul the truth. Her decision was final and she would not change her mind.

They sat down on a bench.

Ashy took a deep breath before speaking.

"Hon, I would like to tell you something. I've been wanting to say something for a long time, but I never got the chance since you're always busy, I don't want us to be unable to talk well. Our wedding is coming up and as much as possible, I don't want things to just remain untold. You know that? The importance of trust and loyalty in marriage. " she looked at him and touched his hands.

"What's that hon? Will that make me angry?" he asked, slightly nervous and suddenly regained his gaze from Ashy.

Ashy noticed the change in the expression on Paul's face. She felt he was affected with what she was about to say. However, she continued with what she was going to say. She had already started.

"About Storm," she replied sparingly.

"But what about my brother? Did he do something to you that you didn't like? Did he say something?" he asked with anxiety on his face.

"Nothing, but you should know something and hopefully it won't affect what we have now. Hon, Storm, your brother, and Storm Robles my ex-boyfriend is only one person. I'm sorry! I was surprised when I first saw him. I didn't think he was your brother. " tearful explanation of her to her boyfriend. She couldn't even look at him directly.

"I know,"

Ashy was shocked at what he said. It looked at him.

"You know? When else?" Again, it is a question that in those moments it is not known whether she will be ashamed or angry.

"He told me 2 days ago. But it is not a big deal to me. The important thing is that you are done and we are now together. We are now in a relationship and we will get married. It doesn't matter to me what your past is, it matters how much you are been comitted with what we have. " He took her hand and kissed her.

"Aren't you angry? "Aren't you jealous every time we're together?" She asked, feeling a little relieved.

This is very different from Storm. Maybe if Storm was her boyfriend now, he might have gone mad. But Paul just calmed down, and he saw how broad-minded he was.

"Hon, why should I be angry? Is it your fault if you were been togethere before and now we are about to get married? We can't control our destiny, can we? Sometimes we do things that we don't mean to. There are newcomers who made us happy back then. It's just our past. And if that's what my brother and I went through, it doesn't matter to me anymore. Because what's important to me now is us. " he smiled to reduce the concern on Ashy's face.

"Thank you, your understanding is really wide. I thought you were angry. "Ashy cried, "I thought you couldn't understand me." Ashy turned to him.

He kissed her on the forehead.

Later, they decided to go home.

Ashy just noticed something different about Paul. His phone rang steadily but he did not answer.

"Hon, won't you answer your phone? It's been ringing ao long, maybe that's important. " Ashy commented that it didn't stop the caller, so she told her boyfriend to answer it. Maybe he was just shy to answer because they're together.

"It's just work hon. If I answer that, maybe they need my presence again or somethibg else? I don't want to ruin this day with you. You know I'm making all up with my shortcomings from you and then bothering me again. Let it go I'll answer that later when we're no longer together. "He looked at her and then winked at her.

"Maybe it's important." She leaned her head on the chair.
