Chapter 10: Chapter 10

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride" the priest altered, and hence I figured it was the moment I needed to reveal myself to everyone.

I removed the veil, thus the minute I did that everyone became stunned, glimpsing someone else rather than my sisters, as Christain stood there speechless with what just happened.

My parents ran to where I stood with the man I married in a place of my sister, I tried explaining to them but before I could alter a word, dad slapped me with mom showering jinxes on me.

The guests at the church all left one after another, after witnessing the showdown, whereas the media, all came with their cameras aring all that was happening.

I felt ashamed of myself, but it was the only way to save my sister and the dignity of my parents, if by chance Anna and I decided to run away it would taint her badly.

Anna rushed inside the church, as she noticed the commotion going on, she also tried speaking to mom but she told her to keep quiet.

I jerked my head, hence signed her not to say a word to them, thus Christain fumed in anger, after coming back to his senses.

He held me by my neck, as he tries to strangle me, I did nothing to retaliate back because I was overwhelmed with the situation on the ground.

His best men dragged him off me, as he angrily works off away from there with his jacket on his hands.

"How could you do this to your sister" mom kept altering, that same words but didn't know that I did it for her and not against her but seeing how she has tagged me as the villain, I didn't alter any words back to her.

As she walked off along with tears roling from her eyes.

I could see the disappointment In their eyes for what just happened as they all walked away from the church, leaving me behind.

I dropped down on my knees, as I held my hands on my chest, hence cried painfully. I won't lie that I  regretted doing this but there was no need to have a second thought.

Anna came back to the church, as she saw me lying helplessly on the ground, thus she pulled me back up.

"Am sorry sister" Anna muttered with her hands on my shoulders, as she tries consoling me.

"There's no need to be sorry" I replied back to her, hence I wiped off my tears and turns to her.

What happens now" Anna replied back to me, anxiously waiting for my reply

"I'll face everything and every one head on" I replied back to her, as we both walked out from the church.

" I don't mean them, am talking about Christain, cause am sure he must be simmering in anger" Anna altered, hence tugged me back.

"Don't worry about  Christain, I can handle him" I said, pining a weak smile on my face, as we walked over to his house.

"Go take care of mom and dad, they need you" I mumbled, as I walked in fluttering my sister.

The moment I stepped in, Christain was waiting for me that the door, as he dragged me outside.

"What the hell" I yelled at him, but all he wanted was for I to disappear from there.

" In the next five seconds, I don't want to see you in my house"  he mumbled back to me pining an angry expression on his face.

I giggled at his expression, which made him more agitated by me, as he lunged in to slap me but I was quick to act as I shoved his hands away from me.

"Remember I am not my sister" I gave him a stern warning, as we both glanced at each other angrily.

"And I don't care" he mumbled back to me, thus he tried repeating the same action, but halted when he saw the press peeking from a distance, thus he held himself, as he walked in.

" This will be fun" I mumbled to myself, letting go of a deep breath, also dashing into the house.

His family all gazed at me, in surprise, as Christian rushed off to his room, and banged the door hard.

"Welcome to the family" Mrs. Hernandez altered, as she lungs in for a hug.

I stood there shocked, as to why she was being nice to me, irrespective of what happened, I needed to be careful of her and all his family.

She pointed his room out for me but instructed I don't tell her son, she was the one that directed me.

I thanked her as I walked up to the room, and glimpsed on Christian sited in a chair with his laptop on his lap.

I stepped into the room, as I perked on him working, hence I laid down on the bed recalling all that transpired.

I wondered how my family was doing hence knew that the stunt I pulled, I had no family anymore.

Meanwhile back at home, mom fumed with as dad tries to calm her down but she was hell-bent on showering more jinxes on me.

Anna stepped into the house, thus my mom dragged her by her hand, as she ordered her to tell her what just happened was merely a sick joke of me.

Mom held her so strong to a point of her nails scratched.

Dad pulled Anna away from mom, as he ordered her to go to her room.

"What is your problem?" Dad raised a question, as he turned to face her.

"Can you not see what just happened" she replied back, as she shoved her way to the room.

While sleeping, I felt calmness around, Irrespective of the turmoil. When suddenly, I felt a hand that dragged me off the bed to the floor, laying flat on my face.

"You really have no shame" I angrily got up, glaring at Christain with a devious smile on his face.

"You also have no shame either, get out" he held me by my hand, as he pushed me outside the room, hence banged the door on me.

"Christain" I called me out, thus it woke everyone up, as they ran out to see the new drama in the house.

"Am sensing this will be a daily routine in this house" Mr. Hernandes altered, as he peeked at me from his room.

I stood there for seconds and he refused to open the door for me, thus I left to sleep at the living room, while sleeping someone covered me up with a blanket as it jerks me up, seeing Mrs. Hernandes.

"Ma'am" I got up from the couch with the blanket on me, so I asked her why she was being this nice to me.

"Because I feel, you can change my son" she replied back, as she held her hands on my head.

"Your son is a horrible person" I mumbled back to her, thus she let out a weak smile as she sits down next to me.

"I understand how you feel but behind that hot-headedness, my son has a good head but he needs someone to bring him back to the right track and am putting you in charge of it" Mrs. Hernandes altered to me, as she smiled warmly toward me.

"Why do you trust me with this task" I raised a question to her, as she turned to me.

"Because I have a strong conviction you can help him, although your sister is good giving her nature, she wouldn't last night him" she answered back as she Walt's off from there.

Truthfully I don't know what Mrs. Hernandes saw in me but she should be sure that I'll make Christain pay for every hurts, tears he had inflicted on my sister.

He was lucky, I didn't find out about him long before, I would have killed him and dumped his body at the bottom of the lake.

The following morning, I heard noises coming from the kitchen, as it wakes me up.

I glanced at Christain coming our from the room, as we both glared at each other.

He walked passed me sited at the dining table when his mom came to serve him his food, but before I could take a step up, I heard a big slam on the floor, thus I turned as I saw him glaring at her in resentment, as he hurled her by her hair

Mrs. Hernandez screamed out of distress, thus I rushed in to save her, as I dragged him off her.

"Stay away from this " he gave me a stern warning to leave his family matters alone.

you know I won't just sit and watch this happen" I altered, hence dragged his Mom out of his reach.

"Don't start what you can't finish" he mumbled behind, as I halt due to that.

"I think that question implies to you as well" I replied back to him, as I walked away with his mom.

"Are you okay?" I mumbled, glaring at her with so much chiming through my mind.

"Am okay, am used to it" she alters back, as she crouches on the bed.

"Why do you let your son, treat you this way," I asked because I couldn't phantom the whole idea and couldn't wait to hear the reason why.
