Chapter 311: Chapter 311
To Diah and Hida, members of Illusionary Realm, Daramji Ji Hye-min was the boss. Her actual position at LUX MCN was “CEO,” but on-stream, everyone simply referred to her as the boss.
This was part of an RP setup to make Daramji’s presence blend naturally into the streams of the Illusionary Realm crew. They only called her “boss”—in reality, they treated her more like a close older sister.
The reason was simple. Having no distance between Daramji and the Illusionary Realm members made for better content. For their streams to thrive, the Illusionary Realm members needed to benefit from Daramji’s trickle-down effect.
“Don’t overthink it—just go all in. I’m confident when it comes to chaotic co-streaming.”
It was more fun to interact with Daramji casually, sometimes even playfully teasing her. Daramji herself understood the importance of this “boss RP”—she knew better than anyone how far it could push the boundary of what's often called "WWE content" to the extreme.
However—there was one exception. One person who had never hesitated or felt the need to maintain distance, even before Daramji encouraged it. Someone who, during their very first collab stream, had mercilessly killed Daramji in-game without warning. A so-called “problem child” with a bad case of yellow flag potential: Diah.
– Whack! Whack whack!
[ Ooh, job change complete! Let’s go learn some skills~ ]
After taking turns whacking and healing Daramji trapped in the ground, Diah and Lucid didn’t even offer a single apology. No “Thanks,” no “Good job”—they just turned around and ran off to learn their new Alchemist skills.
It was a perfect example of someone who had completely lost their sense of fear. Even if it was all roleplay, most people would hesitate a little when messing with their “boss”—but not Diah. Not even for a second.
“Do those brats not know how scary their boss is...?”
– Lucid’s completely been corrupted by Diah
– The baby doesn’t understand what a boss is, fr
– One-year-olds don’t know shame
– Poor Boss 😭😭😭😭😭
Where other members tread lightly, Diah casually crossed the line between WWE and full-on UFC. And yet, no one could say anything—because he always stopped right before Daramji could actually get mad.
Maybe it was because Diah had watched Daramji’s streams since childhood. He knew exactly how far he could push before crossing the line. His past experience as a stream manager under the name “D.A” gave him intimate knowledge of how to push Daramji right up to her limit.
But looking at it another way...
That also meant he knew how to push her right to the edge.
[ No, no, you can’t say it all shy like that. No one’s gonna look at the ad. Bigger and cuter, got it?! ]
It was the fifth day on the Dream Server.
By now, the massive farm built by the Illusionary Realm members was beginning to turn a decent profit.
At the same time, their dessert shop was finally ready to open.
[ Okay, again. “We’ve packed only the sweetest, most adorable flavors in the world~!” ]
“W-We’ve packed only the... s-sweetest and most a-ad-adorable flavors in the world...!”
Currently, Daramji and Diah were stationed at the dungeon entrance, promoting the dessert shop.
The problem? Diah had written the most toe-curling promotional script imaginable.
[ Hmmm... Something’s missing... ]
“What?! I mean, Dad! What’s missing?!”
[ Your second daughter’s ad lacks soul. I’m talking the desperate, must-sell-these-desserts kind of soul! ]
– Boss is suffering 😭😭😭😭😭
– She’s an actual CF model, so take notes, okay?
– Thanks for the donation clip ^^7
– Daramji’s Era of Humiliation
– Don’t shame someone in their 30s (User has been banned)
The other issue was that most of the “hunting parties”—streamers entering the dungeon—were personally acquainted with Daramji.
So having to shout cutesy lines in front of close colleagues turned her entire face red.
But there was no choice.
The main target audience for the Illusionary Realm dessert shop was the hunting parties.
People who lived in the dungeon all day, who’d absolutely be willing to buy desserts that gave helpful combat buffs.
In other words, she had to win them over as customers—no matter what.
“Delicious desserts, all handmade~! Take a look before you go~!”
[ Huh? What’d you say? Couldn’t hear you, noona. ]
“...Kangjeong, I swear to god you’re dead meat...”
[ Whoa, this part-timer’s threatening a customer! I need to speak to the manager! ]
“Oh my, when did I ever threaten you, dear customer~? Please don’t spread such slander~.”
[ Ugh, my hands and feet are curling into a ball. ]
[ Uh, well... You got this, unnie. Fighting. ]
[ So, do you offer maid service? That’s kinda crucial. ]
[ Why is noona wearing cat ears and a tail... oh god, I can’t... ❀ Nоvеlігht ❀ (Don’t copy, read here) ]
– The whole neighborhood knows now
– They’re all familiar faces lol
– If Daramji regrets becoming Diah’s daughter, big like
– Everyone’s freaking out, lololol
– (Emote: waving light stick) x8
– Is this Daramji’s National Humiliation Day
– Never seen Boss before
Even after that, Daramji and Diah kept promoting the dessert shop tirelessly at the dungeon entrance.
The only silver lining? Foot traffic was actually increasing.
[ Okay, now let’s head to spawn. Hurry up~! ]
“Yes sir... I’m coming....”
In the end, Daramji had to continue delivering bubbly, cringeworthy ad lines alongside Diah until there was no one left on the server who hadn’t heard of the Illusionary Realm dessert shop. Fınd the newest release on 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵✦𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖✦𝙣𝙚𝙩
By the time it was finally over, she was completely burnt out—she couldn’t even speak properly.
[ Still... There were quite a few people asking about maid service... Maybe we should consider it. ]
– Are we gonna get ‘Oishikunare Daramji ver’?!
– Baby Diah’s rampage knows no end ㄷㄷ
– This is gonna be hilarious
– Diah actually knows what’s up
– MAID DRIP LET’S GOOOO x5
“...Are you really going to do the maid thing?”
“I asked Dream about it. They said maid outfits are coming in the next update. I’m thinking of making it our shop uniform.”
“You’re seriously unbelievable...”
It was a day in April, the weather slowly cooling into a pleasant breeze. Once again dragged to the gym first thing in the morning, Da-yeon shook her head in disbelief.
She knew full well that Ji Hye-min and Ha-eun were unusually close compared to the other members. But still, Hye-min was the CEO of their company. And watching how Ha-eun bossed her around lately, it felt like Ha-eun couldn’t care less about that title anymore.
“In the Dream Server, she’s not the CEO—she’s the second daughter. RP’s gotta be on point.”
“Ah... right. Sure... whatever you say...”
Ha-eun had to visit LUX later that afternoon, and even without seeing it, Da-yeon could already imagine Ji Hye-min grinding her teeth. Would her excuse of “I’m just staying in character” really work in real life too?
She’ll figure it out herself, Da-yeon thought, shaking her head once again as she made her way to the gym’s locker room.
Since Da-yeon was still a beginner when it came to working out, her routine ended before Ha-eun’s almost every time. Still, she didn’t leave—she waited for Ha-eun to finish. After all, their next schedule was something they were doing together.
And so, even after their other gym buddy Jeong-hoon had left, Da-yeon stayed beside Ha-eun.
“You have anything in mind yet? Like dress color or style?”
“Hmm... Unnie Jung-yoon showed me some stuff, but I think I need to see them in person.”
Their first stop of the day was dress shopping. Da-yeon had also been invited to the Baeksang Arts Awards, so she needed to get her dress tailored ahead of time.
On top of that, both of them were planning to attend the Venice Film Festival in the summer. That meant they needed two dresses—one for the awards show and one for the film festival.
“Would it be weird if we wore the same dress?”
“Do you even hear yourself.”
The Venice Film Festival was a global event, with all eyes on it. It would be the first time actors Min Da-yeon and Lee Ha-eun appeared on an international stage.
It was a big deal—on every level. That’s why Da-yeon had immediately shut down Ha-eun’s “joke” about wearing matching dresses.
Anyway, once Ha-eun wrapped up her workout, she showered and joined Da-yeon, and together they hopped into Kim Jin-soo’s van and headed to the pre-booked dress shop.
Come to think of it, it’s been ten years since I last went to an awards show with Ahjussi, Ha-eun thought.
Actor Kang Sun-woo, the male lead of God and the Goblin, had also been invited to the Baeksang Awards. He’d accompanied Ha-eun to her very first awards show years ago, so attending one again with him stirred up all kinds of memories.
The only question was: would she sit with the Veterans cast or the God and the Goblin team? She didn’t know yet.
Neither side is something I can just skip...
One was a film that surpassed ten million theatergoers. The other was a drama that became a global hit.
Even Ha-eun felt was a luxurious dilemma—both projects had been massive successes. She didn’t want to abandon either.
“They’ll probably seat you with God and the Goblin. Who hits 40% viewership ratings these days?”
It seemed Da-yeon considered God and the Goblin to be more important. Still, nothing was decided yet. So they agreed to wait for official word.
Not like it’s up to me anyway.
For now, the priority was the dresses. They stepped out of the van and entered a high-end boutique that specialized in celebrity gowns.
There, they met a famous designer waiting for them. After hearing the designer’s suggestions for dresses that would suit them, the two began trying them on to see how they looked.
Da-yeon had no problem with sizing.
“Uh... I don’t think this is going to fit.”
“Huh, that’s strange. This is the same size you always wear...”
Even though it matched her usual measurements, something felt tighter than before.
And forcing it on only to have it rip would be a disaster—so they opted to remeasure from scratch.
Da-yeon was standing right there the entire time.
“So, breast growth usually stops around the early twenties. But in Ha-eun’s case—”
“It could be that the sports bra she’s wearing is pushing things outward a bit more—”
“Let’s try on a size ■■ and see how it fits—”
Realizing she’d grown a little more without even noticing, Ha-eun turned slightly red. Da-yeon glanced down at herself, then shot Ha-eun a glare.
“...Lee Ha-eun, are you pregnant.”
“Then why else would they be getting bigger? That doesn’t even make sense—why now of all times?!”
Looking like a furious chihuahua, Da-yeon glared daggers at her.
Ha-eun could only shake her head helplessly.
“I knew it. You pervy little brat. How much do you think about lewd stuff for them to grow that fast?”
“Th-That’s a myth... they said that’s not true anymore...”
