Chapter 29: Chapter 29

She invited Sid inside, who was holding bottles of wine as well, and the next person to enter the house was none other than Steven, who had his phone in his hands and his head drowning in the screen like always.

I didn't speak much because just a minute ago I thought she has invited someone to probably do something to me. I bet I have hurt her feelings. Anyways, I was not going to drink and she should have told me that we were going to have a company.

"Hey!" Steven looked up and greeted her dryly and drowned his head down again, but it was then he had glimpsed my presence, he instantly lifted his face and stared at me blankly. Sid was in the kitchen now and Dina was standing with Steven.

"Why is she here?" Steven growled, that anger was just very shocking. I narrowed my eyes at him to explain the concern.

"She is my friend and I th--," Dina was about to mumble when Steven didn't let her finish.

"And you thought it was okay to invite her for clubbing and drinking?" He narrowed his eyes at her and she lost the courage to speak for herself. Just when Sid arrived and tried to calm down the heat, Steven was just not buying my presence there. I mean it was nice of him to think like that, but I wasn't a kid and it's not like Dina was going to force me to drink, or was she?

"She invited her because she wanted to give her some time to enjoy her life, she wanted her to go out of that house and have some easy time with us, of course, drinking or clubbing is Giselle's decision," Sid mumbled, secretly holding and pressing Dina's hand to make her feel okay.

"Guys, I am not a wicked person, relax." I could sense the hurt in Dina's voice even though when she had a wide smile plastered on her lips, but it has been just to distract us from the fact that we have hurt her. I knew she wanted me to get away from those people for some time.

"Well, I can drink." I voiced loudly, they all turned their heads to watch my face with their jaw dropped except for Steven, who was gritting his teeth.

"Yeah, water and juices." Steven declared like he was my father, usually, I would just listen to people ordering me around, but with him, it was different.

"I can take decisions for myself and honestly speaking, it is time for me to enjoy my life." I have kept myself for Tucker for too long, and now that I see no hope of us getting together, I felt like I need to enjoy and try things I have never tried before.

"I said no," Steven muttered, looking at me angrily. I stared him back with the same intensity, now it was to my ego that usually only wakes up around him.

"Dina, let's change after all its club time." I was looking straight into Steven's eyes, raising my brow and talking to Dina.

"YAYYY!" Dina yelled merrily and grabbed my hand, taking me upstairs with her. Whenever Steven acted overprotective towards me, I felt good. I enjoyed his care for me. It was a new kind of feeling, something I've wanted from Tucker.

We got ready in no time, I definitely wore my plain blue jeans with a blank tank top and that's all. Now that we were all heading towards the club, I can't help, but notice how pissed Steven was.

"Okay, remember no interaction with strangers and stick with us." Steven parked the car and mumbled, not even turning around to watch us. He was being extra now; it doesn't look like he was going to enjoy himself one bit.

"You are ruining the fun, Steven," Dina muttered and crossed her arms across her chest.

"He is acting like an old man," I liked to tease him, he scoffed and turned around finally. His beautiful eyes shining like pearls, his cheeks turning red due to the cold, looking all cute.

"Fine, don't ask for my help then." He raised his brow and got out of the car. I didn't expect him to say that, idiot. We all walked into the club and Oh my goodness, fear struck me. There was a whole crowd rubbing themselves against each other, drinking like they have never drunk anything and that ear-blasting music making me wanna puke. I slowly cocked my face to Steven's side who smirked, he knew I was thinking of leaving, but my dying self-esteem made me change my decision, I can't let Steven win.

"Let's go to the counter," Dina asked, but didn't really watch my reaction, she grabbed my hand and pretty much made her way through the crowd towards the bar. I turned around and saw Sid and Steven following us.

There were two girls standing by our side, both of them dolled up like it was a fashion show and I couldn't help, but eavesdrop on their conversation.

"That guy!" The blonde was constantly telling her friend about Steven, referring to him as that guy or blue-eyed guy.

"He is hot!" The friend whispered to her. I found myself puffing air through my nostrils angrily.

"Well, he can prove that to me tonight!" The blonde giggled with her friend. They both ordered some shots of tequila and I felt this rage gushing through me.

"Elle!" Dina finally shook me to get my attention, "Orange juice for you, right?" She questioned and I didn't reply to her back. Steven and Sid approached us and that blonde passed Steven a smile who smiled back, oh my I can feel my skin burning.

"Hey handsome!" she uttered, and leaned to her side on the bar's counter. Sid chuckled and quickly walked towards Dina, he was not ready to piss her off, but guess who decided to piss me off? Our very own Steven Locks. He rested his elbow on the counter and tilted his head to her, pretty much taking her breaths away and making me madder.

"I have seen you outside this club many times, what made you come inside tonight?" she asked seductively, biting her lip in the end. I was watching them bluntly, Dina and Sid were now busy ordering a drink while the blonde's friend wouldn't stop, but to scan Steven from head to toe.

"If I tell you, would you believe me?" he smirked, using his eyes as he spoke. Why was he turning her on exactly? I made a tight fist and gulped.

"Oh! Is that your girlfriend?" the girl quickly looked at me because I was standing damn close to them, doing nothing, but staring at them.

"I guess she wanted some orange juice." Her friend giggled but pretended not to laugh.

"Oh! She is just a friend," Steven shook his head and deepened his stare in that blonde's eyes. I am so going to murder him tonight, even though when I had no reason to do so, but I was going to.

"Do you wanna order something for me?" she took a step closer and stood close to him, he scanned her from toe to her head and grinned. I was not having fun, or maybe he needs to learn a lesson.

"Steven do you know we have a huge event coming." Don't know what I was thinking at that moment, but I pretty much adjusted myself between them, making them both uncomfortably frown. I pushed her away from my body and pretty much forced a conversation with Steven.

"No, I don't." Steven rushed to turn his attention at her again, eyeing me to step aside so she can stand close to him and I couldn't help, but grind my teeth, I was not giving up. This was going to get dirty.
