Chapter 35: Chapter 35

"Oh, It's so pretty", I exclaimed as I took the piece of fabric from the shelf. Me and Georgina were at the mall and this had been a fourth store we visited and nothing seemed to impressed Georgina.

"What do you think?", I asked her showing her the navy off shoulder dress that came to mid thigh.

She scanned the dress and felt the fabric like she did to previous dresses. "I think it's nice", she let out a smile and I sighed in relief.

She went to the fitting room to try it on as I waited for her at one of the couches available. My feet were killing me.

Georgina got out and I lifted up my head to see how she looked. She posed with her hand on her hip like a model did and I couldn't help but laughed at her silliness.

"You look great. It really does match your eyes", I said. She really looked hot in that dress.

"Really?", she asked in disbelief as she looked at her reflection to the mirror.

"Totally. You look hot", I answered truthfully.

"Guess, I'm getting this dress then", she grinned in satisfaction.

"Yay. Does it mean we can go eat now? I'm starving", I pouted.

After she changed back to her clothes, we headed to the check out to pay for the dress. We walked out of the store and as expected, Hunter, Jack, and Andy were waiting patiently outside. Relief filled their eyes when they saw us with a shopping bag.

"Are we going to grab a bite now?", both Andy and Jack asked to the same time which of course earning a glare from Hunter. Geez, can this dude relax for once.

"Yes, we are. What do you guys want to eat?" , I asked.

"I'm in the mood for burgers", Andy said.

"Me too", Georgina eyes lightened up.

"Alright. We're going for burgers then", I said as we walked our way to Burger King.

We ordered and took a seat at one of the table. Luckily it was past lunch time so it wasn't that crowded. There were few people though who took glances towards our table, probably staring at the guys. What can I say, they were intimidating with tattoes filled their arms not to mention that they were huge and at the same time, they were accompanied by two petite girls.

"Oh, I'm so full", Jack pushed his plate away and let out a loud burp making people shot dirty looks towards him.

I was full as well as I took a last sip from my coke. Andy's hand flew to Jack's fries but he quickly slap his hand away.

"Dude, hands off my fries", Jack said.

"What? You said you were full", he answered innocently.

"But that doesn't mean you have the right to eat them", Jack took the leftover fries away from Andy.

Both me and Georgina rolled our eyes at their argument and as usual, Hunter just sat there eating quietly, ignoring them. He never smiled or laughed making me curious why he was acting that way.

"Hey, why you never talk?", I asked nonchalantly and both Jack and Andy became quite after that.

Hunter raised his brow, slightly taken back with my question. "I do talk", he answered without any emotion.

"I mean like talk, talk", I specified and he just shrugged.

"Because there's nothing to talk about", he said as he took the last bite of his burger and I let it drop. He clearly wasn't the talking type of guy. I suddenly felt sorry for his future girlfriend.

After we finished our meal, we went home because apparently Sean had called Hunter and demanded us to go back. I sighed in defeat as we all made our way to the parking lot.

"Guys, I need to go to the bathroom", Georgina said as she held her stomach.

"Seriously?", Andy exclaimed.

"I'm serious. Open the damn door", Georgina growled. Once Hunter opened the car lock, she quickly sprinted inside the mall again. Well, I did tell her about the chili but she claimed that she could handle it.

"I'll go check on her", I said as I got out of the car.

I walked inside then headed to the nearest toilet I could find. But unfortunately, it was under construction so I guessed she might go to the other one.

I didn't know what happen but suddenly I felt something hit behind my head and I lost consciousness.

SEAN POV

"It's all set, boss", my guy told me through the phone and I couldn't help my smile.

"Good. We'll attack when I tell you to. So be ready", I said as I hung up the phone.

Finally I got the good news. Everything was set up and I was sure it'd work. With this, Jonathan would surely show his pathetic face along with 'the rat'.

I was too caught up with my excitement that I didn't notice someone knocking. "Come in", I said and the door opened revealing Hunter, Jack, and Andy who looked pale.

The three of them just stood in front of my desk with their heads down. "What is it?", I frowned and none of them speak.

"I'm going to ask you again. What the hell is going on?", I stood from my chair, sending murderous glance towards their figures.

"We lost her", Hunter finally spoke and my head snapped towards him.

"I'm sorry, what do you mean you lost her?", my voice was low.

"Someone took her", Hunter muttered. I couldn't hold my anger so I punched him making him fell to them floor.

I turned to Jack and Andy with fear evident in their eyes. Yes, they should be scared. I placed both of my hands against their necks, choking them.

"How did this happen?", I roared.

"She was going after Georgina to the toilet. I followed her afterwards but I didn't see her anymore", Jack explained as he tried gasping for air.

"Why did you leave her in the first place?", I tightened my grip, choking them more. They tried to loosen my grip but it was useless.

"Sean, let them go now", I heard Larry's stern voice. I ignored him as I watched both of them were about to pass out.

"Sean", Larry said in threatening tone.

I finally loosened my grip as they fell to the floor, coughing. I turned facing Larry and he didn't look happy.

"We should focus on finding Valerie not wasting your energy by killing your people", Larry scolded.

"It's because of them that she was taken. You just have one mission. Only one to protect her and you can't even do that", I shouted as I sent death glares to my so called gang members.

"Jonathan got her and God knows what he'd do to her. If something happened to her, I'll make sure your death would be so painful that you beg I'd kill you", I exclaimed and stormed off from my office.

I headed to my room and slammed the door shut. I sat on edge of the bed with my head on my hands. After a few minutes, I felt the tears flowing through my cheeks and realized that I was crying.

I never cried and before I knew it, I was on my feet and punched the wall so hard that there was hole evident. I felt stinging on my knuckles but I ignored it as I began thrashing my room creating a huge mess.

The door to my room opened revealing Georgie and she gasped at the sight of my room. "What's going on here?"

I ignored her as I walked to the bed, lying there facing the ceiling. She took a seat beside me and held my hand against hers.

"Sean", she called softly but I still ignored her. I felt numb.

"We'll find her, Sean. I promise", she said as she kissed my temple and stood up leaving my room.

I felt her gaze before she closed the door. After she left, my tears beginning to blur my vission once again and for the first time in my life, I felt hopeless and scared.

I'll find you, baby. You have my word. I'll never let those bastards hurt you.
