The first thing I noticed was a soft fluffy material surrounding me. I opened my eyes and was met with a dark room that I felt familiar which I then realized was Sean's room. The darkness reminded me that it was already nighttime. I didn't even remember that I fell asleep.

While I was lost in thoughts, suddenly the door opened revealing Sean then he closed the door slowly, probably thinking I was still asleep. I closed my eyes pretending to sleep, curious what would he do.

He came closer towards the bed and sat at the edge of it. I felt this stare at my face making me self-conscious. I tried to keep my act intact without ended up laughing at how awkward it was. I never really felt comfortable when someone staring at me.

He let out a sigh then got up making me confused. I opened my eyes a little and saw him walking towards the bathroom. He closed the door without making any sound and later, the sound of the shower filled the room.

He was still in the bathroom for probably another 20 minutes until the shower finally stopped and him coming out of the bathroom probably with only a towel around his waist because I heard he took some clothes from the closet.

Then I felt the bed dipped and I could smell his masculine scent from the shower. I decided to make myself noticed by opening my eyes and ran my hands to his shirt material.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up", he whispered to my ear. If only he knew.

"No, it's fine", my voice was raspy.

His hands were tightened around my waist and I could feel his distress about something. "Are you okay?", I asked looking at him through the darkness.

"Not really", he muttered. "I need to tell you something", he added making me anxious.

"My flight to Chicago is tomorrow", he said as he inhaled my scent.

I frowned at the thought of him going away but I couldn't stop him because it was his business we're talking about. I just prayed that nothing happened to him. I wouldn't know what to do if I lose him.

"And I have assigned two of my men to take you to and from school while I'm gone. If you see something suspicious, anything you have to call them and you'll be on their watch 24/7", he said.

"Don't you think it's a bit.. too much?", I hated people following me around.

"It's never too much when it comes to your safety. I don't want to risk anything happening to you", he exclaimed.

I decided not to argue about it because I knew he was right. His enemy knew about my existence, hell they could get my number to threaten me. I wouldn't surprise if they showed up at my apartment and kidnap me. Wait, that means Dani could be in danger too!

"What about Dani or Liam? What if they try to hurt them too?", they're my best friends and I didn't want anything to happen to them.

"It's very unlikely they'll be the target though but I'll have my guys watching them too", he said after thinking about it.

This brought relief to my chest. I didn't want anyone to get hurt because of me, especially Dani and Liam. They're like my family.

"So, what time is your flight?", I asked playing with his hands.

He sighed. "7 AM"

"That's too early", I whined.

"I know baby but the faster I got there, the soon this will end", he kissed my temple.

"I'll miss you", I buried my face to his chest.

"I'll miss you more", he moved my body closer to his.

"Just get home safe, OK?", I said almost crying now.

"I promise I'll go home to you", he cupped my cheek and pressed his lips against mine. I reacted by placing my hands around his neck. I managed to be in a sitting position and straddled on his lap taking him by surprise. I kept kissing him hard and he kissed back with his hands now roamed through my hair.

My hands started to make their way through his skin beneath his shirt signaling to take it off. Then someone knocked on the door making me pulled away but Sean kept a tight grip making me impossible to move.

"Yo, man we gotta go now. We're gonna miss the flight", I heard Larry's voice following with another knock.

This made Sean groaned loudly then headed towards the door opening it and there stood Larry with a smirk on his face.

"What?", Sean snapped.

"We gotta go now. All the guys are ready downstairs", Larry said tucking his hands in the pockets of his jeans.

"Fine, I'll be down in a minute", Sean said.

"If you're not downstairs in the next 30 seconds, I'll be the one dragging you and you better pray I didn't walk in something nasty", Larry said amused while Sean gave him a death glare while I stood there confused.

"I knew what your guy did last night. Well, probably the whole house knew too. You weren't that quite", Larry said laughing, and walked downstairs leaving my mouth open and my face like a tomato.

"Oh my God", I facepalmed myself earning a chuckle from Sean.

"This is not funny, Sean", I hit his chest but he didn't stop his laughing "What if your sister heard it too? Or your gang members?", I couldn't face them all without being embarrassed.

"Babe, it's OK. Don't think too much", he said putting on a backpack.

"Why are you so calm about it? It's so embarrassing", I exclaimed.

"Because that means they know you're mine and I'm the only one who can make you feel that way", he smirked and I rolled my eyes though it was true.

"I'm gonna go, babe. Remember to stay with your guards and call me if anything happens", he reminded me and I muttered an OK.

He cupped my cheek and kissed me passionately. He pulled away and he gave me a last long glance at my face before walking out of the door.

I let out a long sigh then walked towards the window to see that he was giving instructions to his gang members then all of them got inside the cars. Sean turned his back facing the window I was standing in and gave me a loving smile before he got into the passenger seat.

I watched all the cars drove away then I headed to the bathroom, started to get ready for school. I just hoped Sean was safe and he would come back to me.
