Chapter 49: Chapter 49
THIRD POV
Scarlett removed the mark on her arm before entering the suite. Jaguar didn’t put on a real tattoo on her because it seems the man wanted to tease her.
“I swear, I’ll kill you! Argh!” she mumbled as she tossed the alcohol into the trash, then looked down at her swollen arm from rubbing it. “Damn, they’ll wonder what happened to my arm. TSK.”
“You’re back, Scarlett.”
It startled Scarlett when the door to their suite opened, so she hid her arm, so her companions wouldn’t notice. She finally entered their suite after nodding.
She bit her lower lip because she wasn’t sure what she was going to tell her friend about what had happened to Erin.
“Is Scarlett already here?!?”
Scarlett came to a halt when she noticed Claire sitting on the sofa.
“Damn you, bitch!” Claire hugged her, but Scarlett didn’t want to talk because she didn’t know what to say about what had happened.
“Where is he?”
Scarlett was frustrated, and tears welled up in her eyes as she remembered Erin being captured and how he rescued her.
“Sis?”
Scarlett sat on the sofa with her face hidden behind her hands. “It’s all my fault!”
Claire frowned and looked at Rios, who was staring at Scarlett intently, so Claire returned her gaze to her friend to calm her down.
“Huh? Scarlett, it’s not your fault,” Claire said. Scarlett moved away from her friend, shaking her head.
“No! It’s my fault!” she exclaimed to Claire, who was concerned for her. “Erin sacrificed for me! He was being detained, so I could escape!” she yelled, rubbing her face.
“Now tell me it’s not my fault!”
Claire remained silent because she was at a loss for words to console her friend. Scarlett smirked when she noticed Claire became quiet.
“See? It’s all my fault! If I hadn’t insisted! This wouldn’t have happened! Damn it! This isn’t my plan!”
She is also afraid of what will happen, especially since Erin is a knight, and she may never see him again.
“Erin, do the right thing; we’ll get him back.”
Rios smiled and patted her on the shoulder before returning to the computer. She focused her attention on Rios because Rios was unworried about his older brother.
“Rios—” Rios cut her off.
“Can you tell me what happened to your arm?” asked Rios. She frowned, but ignored Rios’ change of subject.
“Ah, nothing. I scratched it,” she explained as an excuse because her cousin couldn’t know she had spoken to another Solen member.
She stood up and gripped the folder more tightly. “I’ll do it now.”
Rios came to a halt and looked at Scarlett. “Do what?”
Scarlett grinned.
“I’ll take a risk to enter their group and take Erin back from them; this is all I can do for now,” she said.
She went straight to her room and put his jacket on the bed, but she noticed something in her pocket that looked like a business card. She took a peek at Jaguar’s business card.
Furthermore, she analyzed the white board and Jaguar’s business card. She crumpled it and walked over to the whiteboard, where she put Jaguar’s name.
“Do I need your help? F-ck off.”

“What happened to her?” asked Claire.
Rios ignored her and stared at Scarlett’s room. He held his jawline as he remembered what he saw on Scarlett’s arm. He couldn’t see what it wrote on Scarlett’s arm, but he knew it was a drawing.
“Hmm…” He frowned and opened his earbuds, but he was unable to call Erin. “What happened to you, brother?” he whispered.
“Rios?”
He blinked and turned to face Claire, who was frowning.
“What are we going to do? They caught Erin!” Claire grumbled as she sat on the couch. “I know. It’s not her fault. But we must act to save Erin,” she clenched her fist.
“Damn it! It ruined our plan! I’m useless!”
“Easy. We will do everything to save Erin before the conflict. We still lack information—” Rios came to a halt when he noticed Scarlett holding a folder and turned to Scarlett's room.
“Damn, she’s my cousin,” Rios said as he leaned back in his chair and placed his feet on the table. “Don’t worry, we’ll save my brother,” he added.
Claire frowned but winced because Rios seemed pleased that Erin detained; she just shrugged because she knew Rios was smarter than I.
Let us hope their plans do not go to ruin.

ERIN’S POV
I walked around inside my cell, awaiting our confrontation with the so-called master.
I have a plan. Everything is going according to plan, and I will not let Scarlett do everything on her own.
Before pressing my earring, I looked at the door to glimpse the guard.
“Rios?”
When no one responded, and I only noticed the sound, I frowned. Darn! TSK, there is no signal today.
“How is he?”
I came to a halt when I heard Andre’s voice and peered out the window at him. He was standing right in front of the door to my cell.
I sat down and crossed my legs in case he thought I was planning to escape, which I would never do. I grinned as I heard the door open.
“Hi, my best friend.”
I smirked as he averted his gaze.
I went looking for him. When I found out he had dropped out of university, I went looking for him.
And I went to their house before, but I didn’t see him. When I learned what had happened to his family, I became even more determined to find him.
I tried to find out what happened to his family, but I couldn’t gather any information about it. Damn. I had been wondering where he was for several years, and only to meet him here. When I saw him again, my eyes softened.
What happened to you? Could you please tell me? Andre, how did you get into this situation?
He approached me, tied my hands, and then dragged me out of the cell.
“Meeting the master is an honor for you, Knight.”
I shook my head and put him out of my mind because, as he said, people change.
“Oh, it’s such a pleasure to meet him.”
He drew me into their master’s office. This is also my tactic for meeting the mastermind.
“Be prepared. He’s not like Solen or anyone else; in fact, he’s better than your chairman.”
I laughed as I raised an eyebrow at what he said. No one can compete with my grandfather or great-grandfather unless… He possesses superpowers.
“This is what I want, to meet the mastermind,” I said as I smiled and winked at him before he violently pulled me into a room.
“Master, he’s here.”
I looked around as he pushed me inside. Fit for a King, but he isn’t one.
“It was a pleasure meeting you, Erin Knight.”
My eyes widened as he turned to face me, holding his cane.
“F-ck! I knew it! You’re still alive.”
