Chapter 38: Chapter 38
THIRD POV
The night they’ve been expecting has arrived. The clash between the Knights and Solen Madrid.
“There are so many people here! We can’t move!” Lux grumbled, adjusting with her earbuds. Her cousins were covering their ears, because of her voice.
“Don’t be so loud, Lux!”
“Your voice is irritating my ears!”
Lux sighed and rolled her eyes. “Whatever!” She crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair, while Ara, who was already bored, sat next to her.
“Boring! Isn’t Solen here yet? Isn’t she going to introduce herself?” asked Ara.
Lux rolled her eyes once again.
“Perhaps she’s planning how to trap us in her event,”
Ara smirked and took a glass of wine from a server.
“Trap, huh? Did she really plan the event for the Knights? Oh, she looks pathetic,” she smirked. “Brother Carter is correct! She is still new to this, TSK.” She had just finished her wine.
Lux frowned because Ara appeared to be drunk.
“Arabelle!”
Ara raised an eyebrow at her. “What?”
Lux sighed and shook her head. “How much more wine are you going to drink?”
Ara looked around her table, where there were many empty wineglasses, and she’d already drank almost all the wine because she was bored. She shook her head.
“I’m sorry, sis, but it’s tedious.”
Lux gave her a look. “It’s not a party, in case you forgot!”
Ara waved her hand.
“Yeah! Yeah! Sorry, this is the last one,” Ara smirked as she gulped the last wine she had taken from the server.
“Sis!”
The two women came to a halt when they heard a familiar voice and turned around.
“Rianne?!?”
As they hugged their cousin, they smirked.
Rianne Knight is Erin and Rios Knight’s younger sister.
“You’re back, bitch!” Lux yelled, hitting Rianne. Rianne winced as she looked at her two cousins.
“Of course! I heard about what’s going on in the clan, so I can’t be gone!” Rianne said. “Where is Scarlett? Where is that bitch?”
Lux and Ara remained silent, staring at each other.
“Hello, what’s going on?”
Lux sighed and motioned for Rianne to take a seat. “A lot of things happened, and Scarlett left the mansion.”
Lianne shook her head and raised an eyebrow. “I heard everything from my older brother as well; is it true that she married then?”
Rianne smirked as Ara and Lux nodded.
“She’s a troublemaker, isn't she? I want to see her!”
“She’s not here right now.”
Rianne frowned but said nothing else.
When Erin saw his youngest sister talking to Lux and Ara, he frowned. He did not know his sister was coming home tonight.
“Is Rianne here? Damn, I asked her not to leave Korea!”
Rios smirked and winced because they knew their sister was a brat.
“It’s your fault, brother.”
Ara and Lux held their ears because of Erin and Rios, who just shook their heads because of their youngest sister.
When the light went out, the three women had settled down.
They were smirking because…
“It’s about to start.”

It irritated Erin that their youngest has returned.
“Damn it!”
Erin looked around Lux’s place and realized that their youngest sister had returned.
“That’s why I won’t talk to her, TSK!”
Rios winced because it was his older brother’s fault that their youngest had gone back home.
“You know our younger sister, she doesn’t want to be late for the party,” Rios smirked and shrugged.
Erin fixed his suit and messed up his hair.
“She is concerned about you, bro.”
Rios sat calmly, his eyebrows raised.
“Oh? Tell her I’m fine; they’re weak compared to me,” said Rios, if nothing had happened.
“Even if Dane was involved?”
Rios came to a halt and looked at his older brother.
“He’s fine!” But he frowned because his older brother was aware of what was going on between them. “How did you find out about him? The only person who knows about it is brother Carter!” he yelled, pointing to Erin.
Erin let out a sigh. “You’re my younger brother, so I know him,” he said, shaking his head because of what he found about his brother. “I can’t believe you.”
Rios raised his eyebrow. “What?”
“I can’t believe you’re not interested in girls.”
Rios smirked at his brother while raising his eyebrows. “I don’t like girls because they are so annoying,” he says.
Erin laughed and shook his head. But when he remembered his friend, his smile faded, and he accepted who his brother was.
“Mom and dad are aware of this, and they are not against to us,” Rios smirked as he rubbed the bracelet Dane had given him. “That’s why dad didn’t force me to marry whoever mom wanted me to.”
Erin sighed at his brother, knowing Rios that his brother has no interest in women, unlike their other cousins, who can’t live without a woman with whom they can have s*x.
Erin smiled and grabbed Rios’ shoulder. “My little brother…” He turned to face the people. “No matter what, we accept you. Introduce him to mom and dad after this; I want to get to know him better. He miraculously captured a Rios Knight,” Erin smirked.
Rios came to a halt, his ears turning red, but he shook his brother’s hand.
“No need, you’ve already met him.”
Erin smirked, but he was proud of his brother because he thought Rios was like a robot with no feelings, so he was glad his brother could express himself.
They came to a halt when the light went out, and they smirked.
“So… It’s about to start.”

“Twins! Oh, there are so many girls!”
Aaron kicked Eron, who was only interested in women.
“As if you weren’t already interested in them!”
Aaron winced and hit his twin once more. “I’m not like you! Just shut up! This isn’t a club!” he yelled. He then turned to face his cousins.
“Why is this jerk with me?!?” Aaron whispered, glaring at his twin, who was staring at the legs of the women passing by their spot.
He sighed. His twin hasn’t changed.
“Our older cousin Carter is watching you,” he whispered to Eron, who had adjusted his seat and crossed his arms.
“Who said I looked at them?” asked Eron, turning to Aaron. “Is it you? Don’t accuse me of that, Aaron! You’re not funny.”
Aaron put his hands over his mouth. “Pftt…!” He burst out laughing because his twin was so serious, but the fact that Carter was far from them.
“You look dumb,” said Aaron. Eron snorted and punched his twin, who only laughed at him.
“Asshole! That scared me! Carter Knight might kill me!” Eron yelled, grasping his chest. Aaron shook his head, as his twin was fear.
“I hate you—Humph!!!”
Aaron put his hand over his twin’s mouth. “Sshh… it’s about to start.”
They smirked as they looked at the stage.

“Bro! Hurry! It’s about to start!” Sandro yelled at Sander, who was working on the computer.
Sandro even turned to face the monitor room guards, who were already dead.
“Yeah, just wait!” said Sander as he worked in the monitor room.
He has not yet finished hacking all the CCTVs. If Clare Perkins is one of the Perkins clan's good hackers and defenders, Sander Knight is the hacker among the Knights.
Sander was also the only one who studied how to become a hacker to conduct surveillance on other country.
He wants to control all the world’s CCTVs, but he can’t outsmart world-renowned hacker Clare Perkins.
“It’s about to start, and Brother Carter is getting impatient!”
His brother’s noise irritated Sander.
“Can you calm down, Sandro Knight? I’m panicking because of your noise!”
Sander returned his attention to the computer and ignored his brother’s noise because he was about to hit his brother in front of the monitor when Sandro interrupted him again.
“What the hell is going on?”
When his brother shouted, Sandro turned around.
“Is it going to fail?”
Sander shook his head, looked at the screen again, and frowned when he spotted a vehicle parked outside the event hall.
“Did I make a mistake?” asked Sander. “They are not part of this event!”
Sandro went up to his brother. “Hurry!”
Sander shook his head and went about his business.
“You’ve been doing it for so long!”
“Sandro, please be quiet!”
“Damn you! You no longer respect me!”
Sander ignored his brother. “Yes, because of your noise!”
The computer rang, and the siblings turned to look at the screen.
“Sh-t!”
“What’s going on?!?”
Sander returned to his chair after the system crashed.
“What the heck is going on?”
Sander frowned as he shook Sandro's hand. “Damn it!”
“Hello, What’s going on?!?”
Sander shook his head and held his head.
“It’s about to start; let’s just hope they succeed,” said Sander, shaking his head, but his older brother hit him.
“Do you think this is a war?”
They just sighed because the system had an error. They’re at a loss for what to do.
Furthermore, they looked at their cousins, who were focused on their missions.
“Good luck, guys!”
Because of what was going on, Sandro pushed his brother. It is still difficult to correct the error because a virus could enter the computer.
“It’s your fault! I told you to contact Claire!”
“F-ck! No way!”
***
Arthur checked the wristwatch and the monitor room to see why the siblings Sandro and Sander had not contacted them.
The clock is ticking, and the event is about to begin.
“What is Sander up to?”
Arthur shrugged at his younger brother, Aiden.
“They appear to be moving slowly now.”
Arthur glared at him because of Aiden’s many questions.
“I’m not certain, okay? We’re still waiting!”
Aiden has never stopped asking questions since they arrived, like an idiot who knows nothing.
“You’re too serious, brother!”
Arthur frowned and kept looking at his watch because Sander hadn’t called to see if they had entered Solen’s website and if they were controlling the situation.
“It seems there is a problem.”
Arthur shook his head, ignoring his brother.
“I’m bored because there are no girls tonight.”
He blankly stared at Aiden. “Stop it! You and Eron are so similar!”
Aiden leaned back in his chair, smirking. “What is Scarlett up to now? I’m afraid of what she’s up to.”
Arthur sighed and looked at his brother.
“We just think the same thing, but let’s focus on the mission for now.”
Aiden gave his older brother a nod. “Are we not going to tell our parents about this, brother?”
Arthur shook his head. “Brother Carter is the one who said we should move, especially since we are the fourth generation,” he explained.
Aiden gave a nod. “It seems it is about to begin, brother.”
“Yeah…”
They are all positioned and are just waiting for the owner of tonight’s event.
***
“It’s starting.”
“Yeah, I’m really looking forward to seeing her.”
She looked at the lady. “Do we go inside? The Knights are there.”
As she looked out the car window, a woman smirked.
“They can do it.”
The other lady smirked.
“Really, huh? Fortunately, we got ahead of Sander.”
She laughed and returned her gaze to the monitor inside the car.
“Yeah, I’m certain that’s their major issue right now,” she smirked.
“So, what are we going to do?”
The woman leaned over, took a wine, filled her wineglass, and smiled as she observed the event’s guests.
“We’ll see what happens,” she said as she drank from her wineglass.
“Oh.”
The woman smirked and looked around at the attendees.
She smirked even wider when she noticed that the light had gone out, showing that the event was about to begin.
“Everything was suspense, huh?”
