Khushi’s P.O.V.

After Asar prayer when I got downstairs, I found Api talking on phone to my father to invite for the party. When she caught the sight of me, she smilingly uttered, “Uncle, please do come both of you, okay? Now talk to Khushi.”

She smilingly forwarded the phone towards me. I took the phone nodding at api with a little bit of smile and api forwarded upstairs.

For some moment, there was all silence until Abbu uttered, “What is it? What are you planning there?”

Hearing him, I kept silent for some moment.

Like seriously he asked that to me!

I mean when did I ever do something like that! Without bothering to think anymore, I replied quite sternly, “I am not planning anything here."

Maybe it was the first time for me to use this type of tone while talking to Abbu.

And he got silent at that. I was thinking of uttering something again like it's not necessary for them to come but he spoke up then, “We will see if we could go.” and cut off the line.

I kept staring at the phone for a while until tears came up to threatening to come out any moment.

In my family I always felt like non existing between them. As I was nothing but a disgrace to them who deserved nothing but pain and loneliness.

And here in this family, a place of mine does exist. Everyone cares for me.

I suddenly got wondering what if they come to know all about my family!

What will happen then!!

My mind snapped at that, “Arhaan already knows. Don't you think so?"

When I uttered, “But others don't."

My mind snapped again, “Talk to them. If you think it's something they should know then tell them, Khushi. This way they won’t bother to invite them here.”

I got silent while thinking how and what should I tell them exactly. I can't just start telling these out all of a sudden.

I got interrupted when uncle uttered suddenly, “Khushi, where are you lost dear?"

Looking at his smiling but confused face, I couldn't get myself to utter anything. And uncle uttered again, “Khushi, what happened? You okay?”

Leaving my earlier thought at rest, I just nodded smilingly and he uttered, “Come, sit."

Sitting in the living room, we kept talking on random things. Then Api got downstairs with Esha in her arms.

Seeing me, she spoke up smilingly, “Khushi ji, here is your student. Get her to study."

I nodded smilingly and Api got Esha down. Uncle uttered smilingly then, “You guys carry on. I will be back shortly.” and left from there.

As I started teaching Esha, Api got us some snacks and sat with us. After a while Api asked me, “Oh, yes. Khushi, your father and brother are coming, right?”

Before I could say something, her phone rang off and she got away from us while answering the call.

I also concentrated on Esha. After a while I heard Arhaan announcing his presence. Right then something came to my mind that make me staring at Arhaan.

When he turned to me, I just smiled a little and started arranging Esha's things.

Getting something from Arhaan, Esha came to me and seeing her all excited face, I didn't get to utter anything rather went upstairs with her.

Sitting by the poolside, I kept thinking of Arhaan on that matter while eating chocolates. But gave that thought a break at last as I clearly remembered what I said to him and I didn't believe he would really do something without letting me know.

I was lost in my thought when Arhaan got there and forwarded his phone to me. Getting all confused, I tried to utter something but couldn't get to utter and took the phone.

Esha left from there as we heard api calling her.

When I uttered, “Hello.”., he just started saying, “Vabi, as that jerk said, I mean Arhaan said..I am his friend, Abeer. I couldn't attend your marriage ceremony as I was stuck in something. But I will visit you soon. Anyways, Vabi, I need your help now. I mean I need some suggestions.”

I could easily tell he was a very cheerful person hearing his voice but I couldn't figure out why he will be needed my help.

Being all confused, I uttered, “About what, Vai?" as I turned to Arhaan. Getting me more confused, Arhaan also smiled Allah knows why.

Then I heard Abeer Vai uttering, “Vabi, I have fallen for someone. But I have been failing to approach her. What to do?"

Hearing him, I got totally silent and kept thinking what am I supposed to say now.

It's not like I was experienced with all this. I gave Arhaan a confused look only to find him staring at me being all curious.

When I didn't utter anything, Abeer Vai again spoke up, “Vabi, you there?”

Finding nothing else to say, I uttered, “You sure Vai that you love her?"

“I just go crazy if I don't get to see her, vabi. Seeing her smile really makes me happy and I really get pissed off whenever I see her talking to other guys smilingly.”

Hearing him, I just uttered, “And this made you think you love her?”Only to get him uttering confidently, “Obviously. Vabi, didn't you hear the saying, ‘Jealousy is the sign of love.’. ”

I just smiled at that and uttered, “Don't rush into things vai or she'll feel confused. Especially if you've only known her for a short time.

You never know what type of girl she is, what's the things she likes or dislikes. Take your time to know whether she really is the girl you want to spend your life with.”

Then vai asked again, “What if someone else gets her away from me before that then?”

I replied smilingly, “Go back to your saying vai. It's also said there that If someone is destined to you, she won't go anywhere.”

He got silent hearing me and uttered after few moments, “Then you are saying that I shouldn't hurry in this matter, right?”

“I am just suggesting vai. Either way it's your life. Decision will be yours.” as I spoke up this, he uttered getting me all shocked, “I will follow your advice, Vabi. I mean you must be experienced as you had many guys after you without any doubt."

As he spoke up that, I couldn't help uttering then, “What made you so sure of that?”

Without answering my question, he uttered, “I must say you are very special.”

When I spoke up being all anguished, “Special and me!” he again started,

“Vabi, you know how many girls were after Arhaan! But being a jerk, he never gave them a second glance rather insulted them terribly whoever dared to get in his way. But you are the girl whom Arhaan has chosen. You must be very special to get a jerk like Arhaan fall for you.” hearing him, the happenings how my marriage happened and Arhaan got stuck with me started flashing in my mind only to get me all teary.

I clearly remembered what Arhaan told me once after saving me that night.

I kept all silent without uttering anything as Arhaan's word came to my mind at once.

“Even if you will be the very last girl on this earth, I will stay alone forever but still won't marry a girl like you."

After few moments I turned to Arhaan as he uttered my name, “Khushi?” being all confused.

While getting hold of myself, I just shook my head and uttered, “Vai, talk to Arhaan.” and forwarded the phone towards Arhaan.

As he took the phone, I just left from there..

Arhaan's P.O.V.

Where I was expecting Khushi to utter something about her thinking but all she just started crying.

What is it!

Getting me all confused, she left from there giving the phone back to me.

Being unable to figure it out, I asked Abeer, “What did you tell her to get her crying, Abeer?”

Abeer also uttered in confusion, “Vabi cried! But why? I didn't utter anything like that. All I said that she had been very special to get you fall for her.”

Hearing Abeer, I got immediately what might have hit Khushi to get all teary. After cutting off the line, I forwarded towards the room while thinking that I need to talk to her....
