Kowshik’s P.O.V.

Late in the afternoon when I entered the house, Abbu was sitting in the living room and he seemed to be lost in deep thought. Getting near him, I spoke up, “What happened Abbu?”

Abbu got all startled may be hearing my voice suddenly. Then getting hold of himself, abbu spoke up, “Khushi isn't in the house.”

Likewise I uttered, “So what of it?”

Abbu spoke up impatiently, “So what of it! Kowshik, you are not understanding what might we need to face if Khushi tells them everything and they by any chance ended up believing her.”

Then I got what was Abbu referring to when he uttered, “Khushi isn't in the house.”

I sat beside abbu and kept thinking. The girl who never dared to speak up twice in front of us, left the house. But to our luck, Arhaan didn't see us yesterday. Otherwise we would have been in bigger trouble.

Abbu spoke up then, “Do you think Arhaan saw us yesterday?"

I shook my head as I spoke up, “I don't think so. Didn't he leave just a while ago of that?"

Abbu spoke up then, “If he didn't then wouldn't he have asked her anything as they were leaving from here without informing us?”

I spoke up sensing something, “What if Khushi just left on her own and didn't get to Arhaan's house but somewhere else!”

Abbu thought of that for a while and then spoke up, “If this was the matter then Arhaan would have come back here or we would have gotten a call from them at least."

Abbu got a point and I nodded at that.

Abbu spoke up with a serious face as he got up, “Whatever the matter is, let's be careful with our every step now."

We were about to leave from there but got stopped as Kaki spoke up, “Sir?"

Turning to her, abbu spoke up, “What is it?”

“I am done for today." hearing her, abbu spoke up, “Okay, you can leave now.” and we turned to leave again but got stopped as Kaki spoke up something to our utter surprise.

“I don't want to work here anymore. All this time I was here thinking of Khushi and now as she is gone forever, I think I should leave too."

Saying this, kaki left from there and we kept standing for a moment and then just forwarded towards our respective rooms without exchanging any word.

Next Day at College

Arhaan's P.O.V.

When we reached the college, I asked Khushi, “You need me to go with you for the application?”

Though I was about to speak up something but kept silent as she got down and forwarded towards the entrance of the college after shaking his head as no.

I was about to start the car to go to my office but then I saw the purse. Taking that I got down from the car and forwarded towards her. I was about to call her but got stopped as I heard someone uttering her name with uttered excitation.

I didn't get to hear what they talked about but when I saw Khushi smiling at him, I couldn't help glaring at them. They entered the college happily which made me glaring at them more.

I kept standing there and uttered under my breath, “Is he the reason that Khushi wanted to continue her study and come to this college!"

Giving that a thought, I again uttered, “Whatever! It's her life. She can do whatever she wants to do with it." and left from there while frowning.

The day passed for myself while being busy with meetings and other officials works and finally when I got home back to my utter surprise that man who was with Khushi at the college was leaving from my house in a car.

Api, Khushi and Esha were at the entrance and seeing me, Api spoke up, “Vai? You came early today. That's good. Come."

Khushi entered the house with Esha in her arms. Without bothering to ask anything, I forwarded towards my room. Getting freshen up, I got downstairs and took some snacks while gossiping with api.

Khushi and Esha were nowhere to be seen. Being unable to handle curiosity, I asked api, “Who was the young man whom I saw leaving from our house just when I entered?"

Api spoke up normally, “Khushi's friend, Rafin. He came to drop Khushi."

“And you asked him to come inside though Vai and me, none of us were here. Api why do you always believe people so easily?" Saying this, I got stopped after having a smiling look of Api as she uttered, “Because he is Khushi's friend, Vai. And how can I make a guest leave without even inviting him in!"

“That's true." I uttered under my breath in annoyance but Api heard me and uttered, “Arhaan!”

Hearing her tone, I got silent for a moment. Then after talking to her on some random stuffs, I got back to my room.

Khushi wasn't in the room also. I was waiting for her to talk about it. I mean I have no problem with her having friends but was it necessary to bring him to this place!!

At last after dinner when I saw her forwarding towards our room, I also followed her immediately.

Entering my room, I spoke up, “Khushi, I have something to talk to you.”

She was forwarding towards washroom but hearing me, she got stopped and then uttered, “Can I say my prayer before that?”

When I glared at her, she spoke up as if she understood its meaning, “I would like to say my prayer first.”

With a little bit of smile I nodded and she again forwarded towards the washroom.

When she was done with her prayer, she stood in front of me and spoke up, “Now tell me. What did you want to talk about?”

I spoke up calmly, “Who is Rafin, Khushi?”

She answered casually, “Rafin? Actually he is” only to get stopped at this point.

I thought she was hesitating to say about their relationship and I didn't want to force her. So I spoke up, “It's okay. You don't have to tell me everything. It's your life and you can do whatever you want. But don't you think at least bringing him here isn't right?"

Hearing me, she kept silent for a moment but the little bit of smile which was crept on her face immediately faded away.

I was about to speak up again but stopped as she got speaking, “He just dropped me home. Api was at the entrance and seeing him, Api insisted and made him come in.”

“You could have taken a taxi to come home, right?” hearing me, she spoke up immediately, “I wanted to but actually I..” saying this much she stopped and leaving the sentence midway, she spoke up otherwise, “Anyways it won't happen again.”

Before I could say anything else, we heard Muhib Vai uttering as he entered our room, “Arhaan?”

When we turned to him, vai spoke up, “Arhaan, I have something to discuss with you. Can you come to study?”

I just nodded and left with Vai.

By the time I was back, Khushi was already asleep. But I wanted to her to complete the sentence as I just hated it when someone stopped midway while saying something.

I mean if they think it's nothing important to tell then just don't even bother to say it. But if you start something, you must finish it. Why stop midway!

I thought of waking her up and ask but dropped the idea at last. When I saw Khushi was sleeping leaving the comforter untouched and she seemed like feeling cold, I put the comforter properly on her and got on my side.

While thinking random stuffs, I fell asleep at some moments.

In the morning when I woke up, Khushi wasn't on the bed anymore like wise.

After having breakfast, I was about to leave as I thought Khushi didn't have any class as she was still normally dressed up.

But walking up to the entrance, I stopped and turned to ask Khushi to confirm that.

“Don’t you need to go college today?”

When she said, “Yes but not now. I have to get to college today at 11 AM."

Nodding at her, I spoke up, “Okay, then. Take a car and driver.”

Saying that I was about to turn to leave but to my utter surprise, Api spoke up, “Rafin is coming to take her to college.”

This was something I wanted to hear the least....
