Khushi’s P.O.V.

Hearing aunty we kept staring at each other for some moments and then left the house..

Getting out of the house, I started walking forwards thinking all these but suddenly stopped getting all startled as Arhaan spoke up, “Hey! Where are you going?”

When I turned to him, he spoke up, “I have gotten my car repaired. Get in. I will drop you. Where do you live?”

I thought of apologising for my past behaviour and uttered, “Arhaan, I” but he just spoke up cutting me off in between, “Look Khushi, I am not in a mood to argue with you now. Esha is ill and I need to get back home as soon as possible. So if you don't believe me and don’t want to go home with me rather on your own, you can go. I don't have any problem with that.”

Staring at his worried face for a moment, I silently hopped in his car and took the seat right beside the driving seat.

He gave me a glance in irritation and got in the car. We kept silent while Arhaan continued driving making a face all worried.

I was staring at him for the whole time without my realization until he broke my trance by uttering in an irritated tone, “What?”

Remembering my past behaviour, I uttered, “I am sorry” only to get him started yelling at me.

“Woah! You have thought of saying sorry now after doubting me like that! You know what? I should have just left you there on road without bothering what would happen to you. And I never should have taken you in that house and pretended like your husband though that was the only option left as my car was broken already and I couldn't get any lift saying we were nothing to each other.”

Though Arhaan kept yelling at me saying all those but I could feel it that he was fighting his worriness for Esha. Sensing his concern, I smiled a little without my realization only to make him glaring at me again.

The smile of my face got wiped off when I heard him saying again, “You are smiling! You know what Khushi, you are the most ungrateful person I have ever seen.”

I looked forward sadly without uttering anything and Arhaan spoke up again, “Whatever! Tell me your address. Where do you live?”

After keeping silent for a moment, I spoke up looking at him straight, “I will go your home now.” only to make him stop the car suddenly and uttering, “What!” being all shocked.

Arhaan's P.O.V.

Leaving Khushi with aunty, I got out and got a mechanic to repair my car. When he was doing his work, I called Api only to hear her tensed voice as she spoke up, "Vai, Esha is ill."

Being all concerned, I uttered, "What! What happened to my Princess?"

"Yesterday you and Muhib both were not at home. To stop her crying, I took her outside in the afternoon and" hearing api saying this much, I understood what must be wrong with my Princess and spoke up, "Api, didn't you get Doctor Roshni? What did she say?"

"As always dust allergy. She gave her medicine." Api spoke up sadly.

"What is Esha doing now, api?" I asked her in worriness and api also replied me sadly, "She just fall asleep after staying awake all night in pain"

I tried to cheer her up, "Don't worry api. She will be okay. And I am coming back as soon as possible."

Api uttered, "Okay dear. Drive safely and take care. Allah Hafiz." and after replying her, "Okay", I cut off the line.

I asked the mechanic, "How long it will take to repair?"

He replied smilingly, "Almost done sir."

Getting it done, I paid him and was about to get in my car but then I remembered Khushi and stopped.

I rushed towards the house and entering, I saw Khushi sitting with aunty in the living room.

I got near her and spoke up, "Let's go now, Khushi."

Aunty tried to make us stay sometime more but I convinced her somehow and taking Khushi, I left the house.

I directed her to get in the car and went towards the driving seat but she just walked passed the car as if she didn't hear me at all. Getting irritated, I uttered, "Hey! Where are you going?" which made her get all startled.

When she turned to me, I told her to get in my car but as expected she spoke up otherwise to irritate me again.

Then I just went on yelling at her while expressing my situation and without uttering anything, she got in my car.

While driving, I kept thinking about Api and Esha. Then I got why api wasn't able to catch me lying last night. She was already tensed about Esha then and not to make me hurry home in that weather, she didn't tell me about Esha then.

When I felt Khushi staring at me, I just uttered, "What?" only to hear the most irritating answer of her, "I am sorry."

Being unable to handle my anger besides the worriness of Esha, I went on saying whatever came to my mind then.

To my utter surprise, she smiled hearing me only to get on my nerves.

Thinking that I was just wasting my breath, I let go of the thought and asked her about her address so that I could drop her and get back to my Princess in peace.

But hearing her, I stopped the car getting shocked and looking at her uttered, "What did you say?"

She answered me being all calm, "I will go with you." and when I gave her a questioning look, she spoke up again, "I want to meet Esha."

I spoke up with sarcastic tone, "You want to meet Esha! Do you even know if she is in this condition now, it's just because of you?"

Making a confused face, Khushi uttered, "What did I do that you are" and cutting her in between I spoke up, "She is ill because she wanted to be with you. As you stopped coming, Api went to the park with her in search of you. And because of running about in dust Esha is sick now as she is extremely allergic to dust. You tell me why hadn't you come home for the last 5 days?"

While staring at me, Khushi uttered in a disbelieving tone, "I am sorry but I didn't know Esha would be waiting for me like this and something like this would happen. And besides did you really want me to go to your house after that day when we first met?"

"Of course not." I answered her sternly and hearing me, she spoke up looking somewhat anguished, "That's why I didn't go despite my wish. I didn't want to be an unwanted person somewhere again."

There was something on her face but I didn't have the time to figure out that and spoke up, "Look Khushi" but got interrupted as my phone rang off.

I took out my phone and glancing at the caller ID, I answered the call immediately and spoke up, "Hello, Vai?"

And Muhib Vai saying being tensed, "When are you coming home, Arhaan? I have got an urgent meeting to attend. If you are going to be late then I need to cancel "

Interrupting vai, I spoke up, "Vai, I will be home by at most 30 minutes."

Vai cut off the line saying, "Okay. I will be home till you come. Drive safely though."

I replied immediately, "Okay Vai." and turned to Khushi.

I was about to say something but before that she spoke up while giving me a pleading look, "Arhaan, please."

Without giving any thought to that, I just nodded at her and started my car to rush home.

Khushi's P.O.V.

I thought Arhaan won't agree to take me to house with him but to my utter surprise, he agreed.

I didn't think that the person for whom I left going to that house would be taking me to the same house with him.

Arhaan was driving at a great speed and I generally got afraid in such situation but looking at his tensed face, I didn't get myself to utter anything about it.

I just kept sitting while holding the seat belt tightly. When I car got stopped, I let out the breath in relief which I was holding for how long I didn't know.

Opening my eyes, I turned to Arhaan only to get startled as he was staring at me confusingly.

When we entered the house, I saw Muhib Vai working on his laptop sitting in the living room.

Arhaan uttered, "Vai, I am here. You can go now."

While closing his laptop, he spoke up, "Okay. They are in bed room. If anything happens, call me." and then turned to Arhaan only to get surprised seeing me with him as he uttered, "Khushi! You both together!"

I was about to say something but his phone started ringing. Looking at his phone, he spoke up, "Well, I need to rush now. Will talk to you later."

Arhaan spoke up, "Vai you carry on. I will be here with them. You don't worry." and nodding at him with a little bit of smile, Muhib Vai left the house.

Arhaan walked towards Esha's room and I followed him. Entering the room, I saw Api caressing Esha's hair as she was sleeping. From Api's exhaustive face, anyone could easily tell, she didn't sleep last night at all.

Arhaan uttered in lower tone, "Api?" and sit near Esha and Api turned to him while saying, "Vai, see" only to get stopped seeing me.

She turned to Arhaan again then looked at me back and spoke up, "Khushi, you came! You know how much Esha was missing you! Why did you stop coming and answering my calls?"

I didn't get myself to utter anything other than, "I am sorry, Api."

While staring at Esha, she spoke up, "Esha will be very happy if she sees you waking up. Don't leave immediately. Please stay till she wakes up, okay?"

Without saying anything to Api, I just looked at Arhaan thinking whether he would say something against my stay longer only to find him....
