Chapter 9: Chapter 9

Rose Alexander Pov

I had to wake up early today in order to execute my plan. I had everything covered, of course, except for the guard that I am now finding out is guarding the front of the gigantic gate of this mansion.

I marked down every single place that has a camera and every angle I can take to escape. I know it will not be easy, but either way, I have to leave here today, and I know I can't just walk out and say I want to go. That arrogant man won't let me make it up to him.

Fixing the cap on my head, I looked around one more time to see if I was missing anything before bolting to my room as I saw the sun was already rising and Sofia would soon come get me for breakfast.

Reaching my room, I quickly undressed myself and threw my hat somewhere in the room, putting back on my nightwear before jumping on the bed. Picking up the remote control, I decided to check how far the topic of my disappearance had gone.

Half way through a program I was watching, I heard a knock on my door, knowing it was Sofia. I got up from the bed and put on my flip-flop. I opened the door, smiling at her. I wished everyone a good morning before making my way down to have my breakfast.

Reaching the dining room, I asked for Alfonso and was told he left early to take care of some work, smiling at myself as I knew it was the perfect moment to execute my escape plan as he made it easier for me now.

After I was through with my breakfast, I told Sofia I would like to take a walk inside the mansion compound. She hesitated for a moment until I decided that some guards could walk with us.

Going back up, I dressed up in black ripped jeans and a white lace crop top that stopped just right below my belly button and took some of the cash I took from Alfonso yesterday in the evening while I went to talk to him before going back down to meet them.

Walking around the mansion, I made sure to take them only to places I marked out.   We were getting closer to my last pint, and I turned and looked at Sofia. I sure was going to miss her; she made sure I was comfortable in this house, always talking to me and lending me her clothes when I had none. Overall, she was really a nice person, and I wished I could open my heart to her later so we could be friends, but for now, my heart's closed up and not ready to take anyone in.

Looking up, I saw the big lake ahead of us. Running towards it, I acted surprised and kept praising its beauty. Turning a little, I made sure the guard's attention wasn't really on me at the moment before jumping into the lake.

Screaming a little, I acted as if I were drowning, flapping my hands in the water while trying to hold my breath to make it seem like I was going. The guards jumped into the water, coming towards me, and pulled me out of the water.

After a while, I decided to open my eyes and look around. I saw the worried expression on Sofia's face, and I felt so guilty, but I needed to do this.

Rushing towards my side, she held my hands and asked me, "Are you alright, ma?" "Can you walk?" I looked at her and smiled at her before nodding my head to answer her questions.

Getting up with the help of Sofia, I looked at the guards to see them turning away, trying to avoid looking at me. Looking down at myself, I secretly smirked, and I thought before screaming.

"Oh my God, Sofia!" I screamed again, trying to cover myself while looking at her with horror and panic. Looking up at the guards, who were now looking at both of us, I raised my finger and pointed at them.

"Turn right now; what are you looking at?" I said as I continued to fake panic. "Do something, Sofia, oh my God," I said dramatically, holding her hands with tears in my eyes. I had to give it to myself. My acting definitely deserves an Oscar award, as I am blowing myself away with my acting. Damn, I never knew I was this skilled. I thought I would continue holding Sofia's hands and looking at her pleadingly.

Turning, she looked at me for a moment before looking down at herself and then back at me, trying to see if she could get a solution to the matter on the ground.

"Wait here, madam, let me quickly get you something to wear," she said as she turned around to leave. Quickly grabbing her hands, I drew her close to me, hugging her.

"No, don't leave me here with them; take them with me." I feel so uncomfortable. I whispered, but loud enough for both the guards to hear, making sure to lace my tone with discomfort.

Releasing her, I looked down at myself to see my pink colored bra showing from my lace crop top, hugging myself. I looked at the two men in front of me dramatically before turning to Sofia.

"I will wait for you here." I told her, then turned to both of them and said, "I can please leave." I feel uncomfortable. I said, looking at them uncomfortably. Bowing their heads slightly, they turned and quickly left Sofia behind.

Looking around to make sure I was alone, I giggled and patted my head, telling myself, "Good job," before making my way to the gate I saw at the back of the villa.

Reaching the gate, I unlocked it quietly, praying for it not to make much noise. Opening it, I ran out of the mansion and kept running, trying to get out of there as fast as I could, as I knew it wouldn't be long before they noticed I was no longer in the villa.

Running through a bushy area, I was getting tired, but I could hear cars passing, so I decided to keep following the directions the noise was coming from.

Getting closer, I saw it was a road.   Running as fast as I could, I ran into the road, smiling and taking a deep breath. "I was finally free," I thought to myself, until I heard the horn of a car and brakes being applied. Turning slightly to my right, I saw a black Jeep stopped just a few meters away from me.

Standing there, the shock of having almost been hit again came upon me. Standing in the middle of the road looking like a fool, the door to the Jeep opened, and a man in a black suit stepped out of the vehicle, making my eyes go wide as I saw who it was.
