It was night time and Aurin was sitting on the bed silently. She was thinking something deeply. She was thinking about Maryam's words and falling into dilemma. She was upset about everything.

At first, she can't conceive naturally, secondly, she lost her baby, thirdly Maryam is already the mother of Mikaeel's daughter and now she is ready to bear their child in her womb. Every single thing was stabbing Aurin right into her chest. There is no doubt that Mikaeel will never say anything to her for children but what about her inner desperation to become a mother. She couldn't think further and started shedding silent tears.

" Yeah, please try to find a surrogate as soon as possible. I am ready to pay more," Aurin heard Mikaeel talking to someone over the phone.

Mikaeel again said loudly," What do you mean it will take time? Didn't I say that I will pay more? Then what's.................

Aurin didn't hear anything further. Maybe the person has cut the call. Mikaeel returned to the room and found Aurin sitting on the bed. Just looking at her expression he realised that she was crying. He should have tried to console her but he wasn't finding any consoling words.

" What happened?" Aurin asked.

Mikaeel answered changing into his night suit," Nothing. You should sleep now."

" It will take time to find another surrogate, right?" Aurin asked keeping her face stone hard.

Mikaeel replied sitting beside her," No. Not that much. We will find another surrogate as soon as possible. Don't worry. Trust me."

" Mikaeel, do you think I am a child who won't understand anything?" Aurin asked looking at him with angry teary eyes.

Letting out a deep breath, Mikaeel grabbed her hands and answered," Wifey, please be patient for a few more days."

Jerking away her hands Aurin shouted crying," I can't wait. My patience level is breaking, Mikaeel. I want a baby. I want a little child to call me mother. What will I do with my money, career and everything if there is no one to call me mother? I want to hug my child. Kiss my child........"

Saying all these Aurin broke down into hysterical sobbing. Except for feeling sorry Mikaeel can't do anything about this. Pulling Aurin into his chest he started stroking her hair and patting her back to calm her down but she was just crying continuously.

" Wifey, I know it's diffic............" Mikaeel was interrupted by Aurin.

Wiping away her tears Aurin said sounding determined," I am fine with Maryam. She can be the surrogate of our baby."

This time Mikaeel loosened his hold around her and shot back," Are you mad or what? You want that bitch to carry our baby."

" I don't care who is carrying our baby. I just want a baby of mine. She might be the carrier but I am the biological mother of our baby," Aurin replied.

Mikaeel said sounding pissed off," Don't be ridiculous, Aurin. Do you think she will carry our baby without harming him/her? She is here to take revenge. I rejected her, you accused her of being an abusive mother. She has enough reasons to take revenge on us. I don't trust her at all and if you are trusting her then I will say that you are committing a huge mistake."

" Have you seen her daughter? That little girl is fighting with death. Maryam did everything for that baby. And, you think she will think about revenge leaving her daughter on a death bed. No, Mikaeel. No. I have seen her. Her eyes were telling how much guilty she was. Her eyes were telling how much pain she was enduring. I might not be a mother but as a woman, I can feel what she was feeling. I can guarantee that Maryam was genuine about her intention," Aurin replied holding Mikaeel's shoulder.

Pulling his hair behind, Mikaeel asked," So, you are ready to let Maryam carry our baby!! That woman was my ex-girlfriend!!"

" So what? Isn't she a woman? You don't have any feelings for her. And, that's enough for me," Aurin said caressing his cheeks.

Shoving her hand away, Mikaeel replied sounding annoyed," Do whatever you want. But, honestly, I don't trust that woman after whatever she had done."

" I don't trust her too. But, I trust a mother. Leaving the most loving child of her on the deathbed, she will think about revenge. I don't believe it," Aurin said and this time Mikaeel didn't answer.

After thinking for two days and numerous arguments Mikaeel and Aurin decided to agree with Maryam's offer.

Maryam was happy to see that they gave her the chance of repentance. She was happy to have the chance of bringing happiness in Aurin & Mikaeel's life. She was glad that because of her they are going to have the most precious gift of their life.

After 6 months

" And, here are your babies. One is a boy and another is a girl," The doctor told Mikaeel & Aurin pointing her finger at the monitor.

The doctor was doing an ultrasound. Maryam was laying on the bed and the doctor was moving a machine on her belly.

Aurin burst into happy tears holding Mikaeel's hands. She looked at Mikaeel with overwhelming eyes and found his eyes teary too.

" Our babies, wifey," Mikaeel said happily and hugged Aurin tightly.

It's been 6 months since Maryam has been carrying Mikaeel & Aurin's child. Maryam knew that this child is Aurin's and she shouldn't grow any emotional attachment to the child but she couldn't control her motherly instinct. But, she is happy for Mikaeel & Aurin.

Mikaeel & Aurin offered money to Maryam but she didn't accept a single penny. She just said she is doing all these because she wanted to do something good for Mikaeel & Aurin. She just hopes for forgiveness from them that's all.

" We are going to be parents. My children will call me Mumma," Aurin asked Mikaeel in disbelief where happy tears were soaking her cheeks.

Mikaeel said kissing her forehead," I am happy to see the smile on your face."

Aurin & Mikaeel's happiness knew no bounds after knowing that they are going to have twins. They were expressing their happiness whereas Maryam was only staring at them with blank eyes. She looked at Mikaeel and a sad smile formed on her lips seeing Mikaeel so much happy with Aurin.

" Miki, I am glad to see this happiness on your face," Maryam whispered and diverted her gaze at the window.

Tears threatened to fall from her eyes but she controlled herself. She should be happy that her love is happy but still she was feeling a stinging sensation inside her chest. She tried to avoid this feeling but is it easy to avoid it?

" Bhai, how is everything going? Is bhabhi alright? When are you guys going to return to Pakistan?" Miraz asked Mikaeel through a video call.

Mikaeel answered," It will take a few more months for us to return. Don't worry. Your bhabhi is alright."

" Miraz, I am so happy today. I saw our babies. They are so tiny. I can't explain what I felt after seeing them. And, the smile on your bhabhi's face was a bonus for me," Mikaeel shared his happiness with his brother.

Mikaeel was sharing his happiness with Miraz unknown to the fact that Aurin was hearing everything. She was standing behind him having a smile on her face. She hugged him from behind when Mikaeel finished talking to his brother.

Mikaeel rested his hands on Aurin's hands that were over his chest. He felt her head over his back. For a few moments, they didn't say anything. They only felt this moment.

Breaking the silence Mikaeel asked," Have you thought of any name for our babies, Wifey?"

" Minha. Our daughter's name will be Minha. It means 'Gift of God'. But, I haven't decided any name for our baby boy," Aurin answered.

Mikaeel replied," Alif. Our son's name will be Alif. He is my first son so I am naming him Alif."

Saying that he pulled Aurin in front of him and rested her head over his chest. He closed his eyes feeling her in his embrace. She also closed her eyes.

" We chose beautiful names for our children," Mikaeel said stroking her hair gently.

Aurin was silent when Mikaeel asked," Except for death would you leave me ever, wifey?"

" Don't give me any chance to leave you, Mikaeel," Aurin answered taking a deep breath.
