Chapter 33: Chapter 33

Wade walked me to the car and I was already calm. He opened the car door for me and helped me get in. He was silent but I knew he was mad or something. I disobeyed him again and that led me to another trouble. He went around the driver's side and opened the door. I didn't look at him. His jaw was clenching and I wonder when he will scold me. He was about to start the car when I remembered my friends.

"W-what about my friends?" I said. He looked at me. I couldn't read his expression because aside from the fact that it was dark, he wasn't showing much reaction.

"Logan will take care of Erin and your other friend went home already." He said and started the car. I nodded and didn't say another word. Logan will take care of Erin? Well, that's new. I thought Logan was my personal bodyguard. I guess Erin was too drunk that Logan had to take care of her. My head hurt from too much thinking and drinking. I sat straight and let my head hail high. I kept my eyes closed and never dared to look at the man beside me. The whole ride home was silent. If he didn't want to talk to me then I won't force him. It's not like I did something hilarious and dangerous tonight. Logan was with me and I'm sure if Wade didn't come to my rescue, he will. He parked the car when we reached home and I opened my door. I went out and entered the house.

I headed straight to the bedroom and Wade was behind me. I opened the door and didn't close it. He entered a few seconds after. He looked at me and sighed.

"Please don't do that again," He started. I looked at him and didn't say a word. "Why do you have to lie to me and Logan? So, do you know that this could result to Logan losing his job when he kept on letting you go your way?"

"What? No, Logan has nothing to do with this. It was entirely my fault. I was just pressured, okay? I already said yes to my friends but believe me, I really thought we were going out for coffee at first. And I thought it was a good time to go out. I was about to tell you but I chickened out." I said. "But, can you please leave Logan out of this? It's not his fault, it wasn't, really."

"Alright, next time, you can tell me, okay? I won't get mad at you? I just want to know if you were safe and I was worried sick when Logan texted me where you were. You put yourself in danger again." He said while his hands were in his waist. "I could've killed that man for touching you."

"I'm sorry I promise, I'll tell you wherever I go." I said.

"Look, I am not caging you, okay? I just want you to be safe. You get me, right?" he said softly. "I am only doing this for you. I hope you won't take it the wrong way."

"I don't," I said. "I really appreciate how you look out for me."

"Come here," He said and pulled me to sit on his lap. "I love you, always remember that."

I smiled and kissed him on the lips. "I love you too, babe,"

He smiled widely and showered kisses all over my face. It tickles but it felt good. It felt good especially now that we were on good terms again. I noted to myself mentally that I wouldn't do anything again without telling him.

"I have something for you," He said and handed me a small white box. Wow, it looked cute and elegant. What could be inside this box?

"What is this?" I said excitedly. He brought a gift for me?

"Open it," He said and smiled boyishly. It's the first time that he gave me a present.

I opened the white box and was amazed when I saw what was inside it. It was a necklace with an infinity shaped pendant in rose gold color. It was beautiful. I almost cried because it was too much. It was my first gift from him and he didn't disappoint.

"It's beautiful." I said. "What is this for?"

"For you," He said. "I just thought I might give it to you to congratulate you on getting that shoot. I know it would look good on you."

"Really? Wow, I didn't know what to say." I said. "And I lied to you tonight yet here you are spoiling me."

"I know you wouldn't do it again. Plus, I bought it before I went home. I thought of giving it to you after your catch up with your old friends." He said. "Turn around, let me put it on you."

I was still sitting on his lap as he made me turn around. He took the necklace from the box and placed it on my neck. I touched the pendant and it felt good hanging on my neck.

"They are perfect. They looked amazing, thanks for this babe," I said and turned to him. I kissed him on the lips and he kissed me back.

"Don't scare me like that again. I was ready to punch the hell out of that man." He said.

"I won't do it again, I swear." I said. "But on second thought, I guess I'll do it again."

"What?" He said and suddenly looked annoyed. I laughed and pinched his nose.

"Yeah, I mean, with you, we can go out together and go to clubs, right?" I said.

He smiled widely and nodded. "You are a pain in the ass. Why do you have to be so beautiful?"

"Am I?" I said as I wiggled my brows.

"Of course, men won't be mesmerized with your beauty if you weren't but unfortunately for them, you are mine and mine alone. I don't like to share what's mine." He said and kissed me again. He kissed me passionately and then turned into torridly in a few seconds.

Here goes another night of bed battles again. I laughed at that thought. Bed battles? Really? Whatever, that's what I call it sometimes.

I woke up the next morning and Wade wasn't beside me. I looked for him around the room but he wasn't there. Where did he go so early? I decided to get up and fix myself first. I took a shower and changed into comfortable clothes. I have no schedule for today since the shoot will be on Saturday and it's just Friday today. I blow dried my hair and let it fall freely on my back. I sprayed a small amount of perfume and put on a light lipstick. I looked for my slippers and found it beside the bed. I wore it and I went out of the room and I immediately smelled something delicious. I followed the smell and it led me to the kitchen. I saw Wade, topless, cooking something that smells so good. Why would he cook while wearing almost nothing on him? God, how lucky am I to have a husband like him? He saw me and immediately smiled. He turned the stove on low mode and faced me.

"Good Morning," He said.

"Morning," I said as I went near him. He hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"Did you sleep well last night? Don't you have hang over or anything?" He said.

"Yes, I slept well and no, I don't have a hang over. I wasn't really drunk last night." I said as I took a look at what he was making. It was mashed potatoes and bacon as well as fried eggs.

"That's good to hear." He said. He faced me and I faced him too. I couldn't help but looked at his abs. He wasn't wearing anything to cover it, not even an apron! How could he be this hot?

"Like something you see?" Je said and smirked.

"Hmm nah, I've seen better." I said jokingly. He frowned and acted annoyed.

"Who? Your co-models?" He said and turned his back on me. He pretended to be washing the pan. I hugged him from the back and touched his abs. I felt him froze.

"I was just messing with you," I said. "Yours, is the most hot body I have ever seen."

He held my hands and pulled me in front of him. "You like to make me upset, don't you?" He said playfully.

"No, of course not," I said laughing. "I was only messing with you."

"Is it true?" He said. I was confused.

"What?" I said.

"Is it true that I am the hottest man youi ever met?" He said. God, isn't he over that part yet?

"Yes," I said truthfully.

"Good " He said and kissed me on my lips. "You're the most beautiful and gorgeous woman I have ever met too."

"I don't believe you!" I said and laughed. "I'm sure you had beautiful women kneeling for you."

"Yeah, but they have no match compared to you. You are outstanding, babe." He said. "I can even look at you whole day and still won't get enough of you. That's how addicted I am to you."

"When will you stop fooling me? I'm your wife already, there's no need to praise me that much. You got me already." I said and laughed hard.

I saw him stare blankly on the side but snapped out of it immediately. "Yeah, we're married already, how could I forget? But even though we are, I still want to spoil you with everything I have and everything I could do."

"Aww, thanks babe," I said. "I love you," I whispered to him and kissed him on the cheeks.

"I love you too," He said and kissed me on my lips. I smiled at him widely.

"What? Are we gonna eat or not?" I said.

"What do you want? Do you want to eat or do you want me to eat you?" He said and winked at me. I blushed extremely at what he said. God, this man!

"You're so pervert!" I said and slapped him playfully. "Stop it."

He laughed hard and held my hand. "I'm just messing with you. You should've seen your face. It was priceless!" He was still laughing all out.

"Let's eat!" I said. "And stop messing with me or else I'm gonna smacked you so hard."

"Alright," He said as he raised his hand looking like he was surrendering. "I surrender."

I took a plate and gave it to him. We started eating and talking.

"Do you have an appointment today?" He asked me.

"No, I don't," I said. "Why?"

"I might get off of work early later this afternoon. I need to attend a charity event tonight and I was hoping you could come with me." He said.

"Really?" I said. That sounds exciting. "You're bringing me with you?"

"Yes, why? Don't you wanna go?" He said confused.

"Of course I would, I honestly would love to be with you." I said.

"So, you're coming with me, am I right?" He asked again.

"Yes," I said. "But I don't have a dress for it. What will I wear?"

"Don't worry, I'll ask my secretary to look for a dress for you. I'm sorry but we couldn't make one for you. There's no time for that as I wasn't informed ahead of time. Will that be fine with you?" He said.

"Yes, I don't mind at all," I said. "I can even look for a dress myself."

"Alright, if you want, I can take a half day off work and we'll find a dress for you together." He said. "What do you say?"

"Hmm, are you sure you have the time? I mean, I can manage. I can bring Logan with me as well. I won't do anything stupid, I promise." I said.

"No, it's not that, I wanted to see your dress first and don't worry about my work. I can handle it. Plus, I am the CEO, remember?" He said and winked at me.

"Yeah, you always reminds me so how could I forget?" I said jokingly.

"So it's settled then? I'll see you later? We can have lunch together." He said.

"That sounds fine with me. Okay, I' be ready at lunch time." I said.

"Alright then, I'll make Logan drive you to our meeting place, okay?" He said.

I nodded and didn't say another word. I am excited for this day. We finished eating and Wade left for work after. I went to my room after and browsed on websites of different gown designers. I was looking for something that I could wear for tonight.
