—Genie inside the dream?

Anika POV (as Ariana)

" May I know where your restroom is? I mean, I was running the whole day in this kind of medieval era but I still haven't seen what do I look like!" I'm now a bit feeling itchy to my body.

Karl set a burst of huge laughter on his face. I don't know why.

" Why are you laughing?" I asked him while looking at my messy hair and fixing my dirty face.

He clears his throat and sneered at me like I was a clown to himself.

I hate people laughing at me especially those uncivilized people. I mean, yuck, I only act kind at him because I had no one to lean on here and call for help. Besides he's a good guy I think.

" I'm only laughing because you look like working as a concubine in the court. I mean as King Darius' pet. Did you run away from him?" He told me.

My forehead crumpled and my lips pouted. I put my head up to answer him. How could he call me a prostitute? I know what concubine means and she humiliated my personality. In my place, I'm a Luna of the pack and boss in my own company.

" What did you call me? How dare you! Hey, I'm not like that. " I shouted at him while putting my hands on my waist.

He became serious.

" I'm sorry but go and check yourself inside the restroom. It's right there at the back of the fridge, there's a door after" he instructed me in the direction.

I rolled my eyes at him before I left.

" Whatever!" I mumbled.

I navigated the restroom base on Karl's direction and finally, I found it. I slowly stepped in my feet inside and I saw a small mirror which leveled my upper part area and that is my face.

As I saw my reflection in that mirror, I don't know what's gotten into me but as long as I saw myself, the whole house quivered with my loud and screaming voice.

" Ahhhhh!!! This can't be happening!" I shouted with anger and confusion.

You wanna know why I hoot?

My long dark shiny hair turned curly brown like it was the time where princes and princes reign in the country with an ugly hair clip which is color green. My eyes who were iris blue became light green. My place face and lips like I was been swept away from the Kingdom, got raped by men on the roadway and left behind. The worst part is my dress. My ugly, old-fashioned, and dirty gown like I'm the bully inside the ball party, and nobody wanted to dance with me.

How can I make myself looks like Anika in the present time? There, I was the law, the ruler, abductor, the Luna of the packs, and the heartbreaker but here, I guess it's very the opposite.

I saw Karl storming towards me. I locked the door so he can't go inside easily.

" Hey, are you okay?" His tone seems worrying about me.

I rolled my eyes and sometimes winced when I saw my image in the mirror.

" Yeah--I-I'm okay! D-don't be bothered about me, o-okay " I did my best to sounds good like nothing happened.

" Okay. I'll be heading to my room now. The couch is ready for you to use for the night!" He said and I felt that he walked out near the bathroom.

"Okay," I replied.

Now, back to my biggest problem tonight, how am I supposed to dress like Anika. Maybe, he had extra dresses from his girlfriend, or if he took someone in for the night, maybe they sometimes left their extra pieces of clothing.

Studying my reflection again, I understand now why Karl called me one of the concubines in the Kingdom because I honestly look and dressed up like them.

Never mind, all I have to do is to figure out how I can go back to the present because maybe this moment, the girl who used my body was having the time of her life enjoying my wealth and all the things I owned.

Thinking about the real-life I have, made me cry.

After cleaning myself and taking off some dresses which she used, I feel a little lighter with a white cotton dress I left from it.

I'm sleepy and exhausted so after my body slammed against his old and small wooden couch, I quickly fell asleep.

"Hey, wake up!" I heard someone poking my cheeks.

I slowly peeled my eyes to stretch open wide and I almost fall from the couch when I saw my face.

" Who are you? Give me back my body!" I yelled at her but I stop when I saw a small Genie who was sitting behind us.

" A Genie? What is this? Am I dreaming? Did you just poke me! Meaning we can switch life now! Where did you pass through?" I feel excited to see my room right in front of me.

" Hello, both of you, the lost souls. I'm Ergo, your genie at your service!" He looks like a clown to me.

He was like a dwarf genie with a curly hairdo on his purple hair, his big golden earrings beside his ears look weird, and his purple pointed shoes that similar to Snow White dwarfs shoes.

" Genie? Hey, maybe you're the one who switches us. Will, you put us back to our normal life? I want to go home! I'm worried about my company!" Anika begs for him.

" Yes, me too. I need to see my husband. I have to tell him that I was wrong for running away from him! " Ariana begs for his mercy too.

Ergo, the genie laughed at them.

" Nope, not so quick!" He said while twinkling his eyes.

" You have a mission to do and that is for you to wait when I come back tomorrow! Goodnight! See you in your dreams!" After making them more confused, Ergo subsided like smoke in the chimney.

Ariana and Anika woke up together but they saw similar pillars of the place they were at. They thought that the genie was real but they're only dreaming.

" Genie in a dream?" Anika mumbled.

" What is that for? Maybe, he's a real bit he's only appearing in our dream!" Ariana spoke under her queen size bed which is the bed of Anika.

" Tonight, we can meet him again" Anika said and went back to sleep again.
