Chapter 83: Chapter 83
"I'm asking you to share the information I wanted. Where is it?" Alpha Alex's tone got stronger, and he seemed upset.
It looked like his eyes were burning with anger as he spoke.
"We couldn't find anything, Alpha Alex. The place was clean, and there was nothing on the wolves," a gamma from the back explained.
"And you're telling me you couldn't find anything?" Alpha Alex stood up, circling the gammas who were standing straight.
"I'm sorry, Alpha, but there was no sign of a fight or any force. The wolves didn't have any wounds, and it seemed like they died naturally," another gamma said.
Alex's face turned red from anger. He was furious, and his eyes got darker.
"You can all leave," he declared, getting angrier.
"Alpha," another gamma tried to speak.
"Leave! Do you want me to punish you?" he threatened, making the gammas leave the room quickly.
"Everyone, leave," he ordered the guards in the room.
They all left, and he locked the doors, leaving only Hendrix allowed inside.
The room was silent, and Alex's groans of pain filled the air.
He stretched out his hands, and claws appeared. His skin ripped, and the room got dark.
The demon inside him was taking over.
"No, this can't be happening. Please stop," Alex groaned, hitting a pillar.
There was a loud cracking sound.
Mia felt his distress and woke up.
Smoke was coming from the room.
"Alex!" Mia screamed, running towards the living room.
"My lady, Alpha said no one should enter the room," a guard stopped her.
"Move, and let me in," she demanded.
"But my lady, Alpha's orders are—"
"I'm the Luna. Move, or I'll have you punished," she said firmly.
"Also, no one enters, not even Hendrix. Follow my orders or face the consequences," she added.
After hesitating, the guard opened the locked door for Mia.
Tears filled Mia's eyes.
Her Alex was changing into a monster.
"Alex," she called to him.
"Aggghhhhh," he groaned.
She hoped whatever happened last night would happen again.
"Alex," she said, getting closer.
"Goo," he groaned.
"No, Alex, I won't leave. I'll stay until you're okay. I want my Alex back," she said, facing the big figure.
The monster smirked.
"There is no Alex. Alex is mine, and I'll use him for revenge," it declared, gnashing its claws.
"Alex, it's me, Mia, your wife," she insisted.
Another growl came, showing a bit of resistance.
"Alex," she said, moving closer. His scaly body was twice as big, and his claws were longer.
Mia walked fearlessly, trying to hold his hand. Another groan made her step back.
"Please, Alex, come back. I need you to be my husband," she pleaded, trying to walk closer.
His hands swooped over, hurting her. She felt weaker, and her breaths were short.
"Alex," she called with her last strength.
Suddenly, a light shone from her forehead, and Alex loosened his grip.
The mundara symbol was back. Mia sighed in relief.
Whatever came from her, she was glad it happened. It meant Alex would turn back to normal.
The scales disappeared, his dark eyes got life back, and the claws were gone, releasing a thick smoke.
A loud growl filled the room, and he fell on his knees.
"Alex," Mia cried, running to him. She threw herself into his arms, crying.
"Mia," Alex acknowledged, feeling her, "Why did you come? I told you not to when this happens.
This is nothing, Alex. It's between you and me," Mia consoled, hugging him tighter.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this, Mia. I should have. Thank you for bringing me back," he acknowledged, holding her face.
He looked a bit surprised. Mia had managed to restore him again, just like Hendrix
