Chapter 75: Chapter 75

Mia slept off in the car and was woken by Alex when they got to the gates of the island.

A number of guards stood by the gates and instructed the car to stop for a check.

The chauffeur slowed down and drove in almost immediately. The guards had recognized Mia and had the Gates opened.

"Good day, Your Highness." They bowed curtly and had the guard by the gate open it while the chauffeur drove in straight to the house.

Stella was already by the house entrance after hearing the news of her daughter's arrival by the maids and guards

By her side was her father, who stood at the entrance in his Royal regalia, waiting for her as if she was a child being brought back from a war front.

Mia was elated as she saw the  familiar building she had lived in all her life, memories of her friends, and how much fun they had filled her voice.

A wide smile played on her face when she saw her parents waiting eagerly for her.

The chauffeur stopped in front of the house and came down from the car to open the car door.

Mia had already opened the car door, and she jumped happily into the arms of her parents.

The chauffeur, unsure of what to do, walked to the other side of the car to open the door for Alex.

Alex got down from the car and walked towards Mia's parents, who were still where they were, both of them adoring Mia.

"Happy birthday in advance, mother," Mia said, holding onto Stella's hands.

"Thank you so much, sweetie," Stella said and looked at Alex, who was walking towards her.

Alex had no good impression of Jayden ever since he found out that he was also involved in awakening the demon.

He walked towards Stella, whose face had turned Stern when she looked at Alex.

"Good day, Alpha Jayden and Luna Stella. Happy birthday in advance and many more to come," he said to Stella in a low voice.

Stella looked at Alex, hiding the wavering emotions of dislike in them. "Thank you," she said to him and turned back to look at Mia, who was holding Jayden.

Mia left Stella and Jayden. Walking to Alex, she held him by the hand and walked away with him into the house, leaving behind Stella and Jayden to walk themselves back into the House.

The chauffeur walked into the house with the clothes Mia had brought and that of Alex.

Alex stood up and took the box containing the pin. He walked forward to Stella.

"This is for you, mother-in-law. I hope you like it as a birthday gift," he said and handed over the box to Stella.

She opened the box and a bright smile played at the corners of her lips when she saw the hair pin.

"It is so beautiful!" She exclaimed loudly to everyone in the room.

Her face was belatedly full of smiles when she took out the hair pin.

"Look, Jayden, it's my favourite design of hair pins," she said and walked towards Jayden, grabbing a handful of air and clipping it with the pin in her hands.

Alex looked at Mia with a thankful glare and looked back at Stella, who was still fawning over the hair pin.

"Alright, mother. Alex and I would be retiring to my room. It has been a long journey," Mia said and held Alex's hands.

"Alright, Honey. You should have some rest," Stella replied from where she was.

Mia and Alex walked into the bedroom, putting the luggage on the floor.

"Ah, I've missed this house so much," Mia pointed out to Alex inside the room.

"Your room looks beautiful and organised," Alex said, glancing around the room.

"I am going to have a bath and then I will go out to have fun with my friends. Oh, my goodness! I have missed them so much," she said, giggling happily.

She headed to the bathroom and came back to wear a comfy home wear and fell to the bed to sleep.

Alex followed suit, walking into the bathroom to have a shower before falling back on the bed to take a nap.

Rain, Steph, and Kal were all waiting for her inside the mansion as soon as they heard that Mia was on the island for Stella's birthday celebration.

A knock on the door woke her from the deep slumber she'd fallen into.

She stood up from the bed and walked to the door to meet a maid.

"I am sorry for interrupting your sleep, my lady. Your friends are here, and they have been waiting quite a couple of hours," the maid said to Mia

"You mean Rain, Kal, and Steph are here?" Mia asked, unable to contain her happiness.

"Yes, my lady. All three of them are waiting for you in the sitting room on the ground flooe," the maid replied Mia.

"Oh, my goodness! Tell them I will be with them in a jiffy," she said agitatedly, rattling around the room before she decided to go meet them the way she was.

Mia's face brightened when she saw the trio waiting for her in the sitting room.

"Rain, Kal, Steph," Mia called out to the trio's name. They flipped their heads in an instant to the direction of the familiar voice calling out to them.

"Mia!" Steph shouted as she ran over to meet her first, topping rain and Kal by a leg.

They all engulfed her in a tight embrace as soon as they reached her, expressing their emotions of how much they missed her.

"I have missed you too, guys. I have missed you so much, I had no idea that you had been here earlier than this. I would have come down to meet you guys," Mia explained.

"It is fine, Mia. We knew your husband is inside the room, and maybe both of you were having some kind of activities in there," Rain the naughtiest of all spoke out, making all four of them laugh in unison
