The following morning, Jessica woke up to the sound of her alarm, stretching her body. She stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

She came out a few minutes later thinking of what to prepare, she walked down the stairs to the kitchen and glanced through the kitchen for available resources, checking the cabinet one after the other.

" Hmmm, I need to do some shopping," She thought to herself.

After seeing that she only has a few things left, she decided to make a pancake then she can make syrup before going to work. She started the preparation, checking her time during the process.

After the food was ready, she set it up and walked to her room, she removed her pajamas and walked to the bathroom to have her shower. She was in the shower and the water ran through her body. Jessica remembered her make-out with Edwin in the bathroom, she couldn't help but smile to herself.

After a few minutes, she came out of the bathroom and dried her body with a towel, walking towards her bedside, she creamed her body and started wearing her dresses with her heels.

Checking herself out in the small mirror, Jessica packed her hair in a ponytail and applied a little makeup. She carried her bag, and walked out of her room, walking towards the dining.

She sat down quietly and started eating her food. Being careful of the syrup staining her shirt, she took a napkin and wrapped it around her neck as she ate her food.

Jessica finished her food and walked towards the door, walking outside, she closed the door and walked toward her car. She opened the door and drove to work, playing her favorite playlist on Spotify and she sang along.

Getting to work, she packed her car and came down, she noticed Edwin's car was already in the car pack and smiled to herself as she walked towards the elevator.

Entering her office, Jessica dropped her bag and sat down conveniently, checking the note beside the laptop, which she guessed. It must be from the secretary who replaced her last week.

Reading the note, Jessica traces it with her laptop and knows where to continue her work. She opened her email to see if Edwin has sent her a new document to work on. She clicked the new message from him and started working on it immediately.

After thirty minutes, Jessica sent the updated document to him for review, which he reviewed instantly with more to come with the printed copy.

She printed the document and held it to Edwin's office, adjusting her skirt. She knocked on the door and Edwin let her in.

" Good morning, how was your night?" Jessica said with a smile looking at Edwin.

" It was fine and yours?" Edwin said with his eyes fixed on the laptop screen.

" It was good, here is the copy of the document," Jessica said, stretching her hand to Edwin, to give him the document, but Edwin dropped his pen in the process.

Jessica bends down to pick up the pen, then Edwin holds her waist in the process, bringing her to his lap.

" Edwin, I told you we can't do this in the office," Jessica said with wide eyes.

" And why? Are you planning to date in secret?" Edwin said with a cocky tone.

" No, but it won't look good if people find out we are dating at work. It will be awkward for me," Jessica explained in a calm voice.

" Let me know anyone that talks about it to your face, then I will just sack them," Edwin said authoritatively.

"I have heard of you but I would like to do all this to you at home. I will prefer that," Jessica suggested, looking at him.

" I will think about that," Edwin, as he uses his two hands to cup Jessica's breast.

Jessica stood up immediately from his lap, and she walked towards the door, leaving Edwin with a sly smile on his face.

During the lunch break, Jessica went to the cafeteria and got her lunch. She saw a vacant seat and occupied it immediately, biting her lower lip. She remembered Misha and James, how they always eat and joked to get her during lunch break.

After eating, she went back to her office and continued working on the documents.

She decided to check her phone after thirty minutes to see if there was any message that needed her attention, and she noticed a message from a new number, she clicked the message and saw it was from Gary, she replied to the message with a smile and she continued her work.

Edwin's phone has been ringing for quite a fine but he completely ignores it seeing the calls are all from his mum.

" I think I need to go to the villa again to clear things with them. Why on earth will they be adamant that I date the girl? " Edwin said to himself.

Edwin's phone rang again and he was about to put it on silent but stopped when he saw it was Roy, who was calling him and he picked up immediately.

" Hello, are you back," Edwin said in a cocky tone.

" Yes I am back, are we seeing tonight?" Roy asked.

" No, I am busy, I will let you know when I am less busy," Edwin said with a calm voice.

" Okay then, just want to check on you," Roy said.

" Thank you," Edwin said and he hung up the call and he continued working on his laptop.

Around 6 pm, Edwin arranged his bag and shut down his laptop. He stood up from his seat and walked out of his office, walking towards Jessica's seat.

" Are you not going home?" Edwin said in a calm voice, making eye contact with Jessica.

" I will, you can go. I will meet you soon," Jessica said as she continued working on her laptop.

"Okay," Edwin said and he walked out of the office to the car park.
