When I got home, I changed into a turtle neck sweater, a pair of jeans trousers and a pair of three inches pencil rhinestones.

10 minutes later, Max drove me to the gym. "Do you need me to wait for you, Miss?" Max asked

"No need, I don't know how long I'll stay," I told him.

The gym was quiet when I got in, too quiet for my liking. Why did I tell Max to leave? I scolded myself, I had to check the address again in case I was at the wrong gym. This was the address Blake sent, "hello? Blake? Where are you?" I called out but the only response I got was that of my voice echoing in the entire place.

I called Blake's number and I heard the phone ring somewhere in the gym, I followed the sound and found Blake asleep on a weightlifting bench.

"seriously? you made me leave what I was doing to come here just to watch you sleep?" I asked

"awww, keep it down. Your voice could rip my ears off," he said

"I wish it would. now get up let's get started or else I'm leaving," I said

"damnit woman," he groaned and got up, "you said you weren't going home, what took you so long to get here?"

"is that a rhetorical question or are you expecting an answer from me?" I asked

"I expect an answer, no… I demand an answer," he said standing nose to nose with me

"hahaha… you are delirious," I said taking out my script and dropping my bag on the bench. "by the way, why is this place deserted?" I asked

"I booked the gym for the entire day," he said

"hmmm… I won't ask why, let's get started, I have things to do in few hours," I told him.

"okay, I'm ready," he said

I went towards the door and came back, moving to a weightlifting bench opposite Blake's, "whoa, whoa, whoa, what are you wearing?" he asked

"clothes, what's the matter?"

"on your feet, why are you on those?"

"I was somewhere when you called and you said I should come the way I am, so here am I," I said

"and you plan on climbing my back on those shoes?" he asked

"absolutely, I can't wait to drill holes into your back," I said giving him an evil smile.

"can't you take them off?" he asked

"definitely not, I can't walk barefooted" I said to him

"urg!" he groaned "just give me 10 minutes, I need to go shower,"

"before the rehearsal?" I asked

"no we're not doing it anymore, we can do another line somewhere else," he said

"hmmm… fine with me," I said

10 minutes later, Blake came out wearing a white body fitting polo and jeans. He walked up to me and gave me a flirting look, "what are you doing?" I asked him

"nothing. let's go get something to eat first, I'm starving," he said

we went to a breakfast restaurant, as he placed his order, I took out my scripts and went through my lines.

From the restaurant, we went to the studio. one of the crew members was celebrating her birthday and so she invited us to a karaoke club.

we sang and danced and acted goofy, it felt so good to be with them. "UK, what would you like to drink?" Blake asked me.

"soda is okay," I told him

"no one is drinking soda, have a beer,"

"sorry, I don't drink beer,"

"that's crazy, do you have some health issue that prevents you from drinking?" Blake asked

"of course not, I just can't hold my liquor and so I avoid it completely,"

"come on… you can share a bottle with me if you want," he said

"definitely not!" I said "I'll drink but only one bottle, okay?"

"yes ma'am,"

Before drinking, I checked the alcohol content, 56% vol. the rational part of me was screaming NO but the adventurous part of me was screaming GO FOR IT, I opened the bottle with my teeth and took a sip. it was so bitter.

the alarm on my phone rang, 9 o'clock! I set the alarm to remind me to tuck Juliet to bed. "shit!" I exclaimed

"what's wrong?" Blake asked

"how long have we been here?" I asked

"since 3 in the afternoon," he replied

"oh my God! I need to go home right now,"

"but it's only 9 o'clock, the fun is getting started," he said

"I need to go home, now."

"alright, alright, finish your drink and I'll drive you home," he said

I took the bottle and emptied it in one go, "hey slow down. come on let's go," Blake said and assisted me out to the parking lot, immediately he unlocked his car, I opened the back door and crashed in. I may be feeling a bit tipsy but I still had the sense to avoid being very close with any other guy except Jade.

"where do I stop you?" he asked

"immediately after the stock exchange market,"

He drove me there, "call me when you get home," he said

"alright, bye" I waved and made my way home.

There were 2 guys standing guard by the gate, "Miss Udofia are you alright?" they asked

"yeah, I'm fine," I said and went in. when I got to the living room, the lights were off, I had to use my phone's flashlight to find my way to my room.

"you finally thought of coming back home," Jade said switching on the light.

"oh Jade, it's you," I said smiling

"where you expecting to see Blake?" he asked,

saying Jade looked angry was an understatement, his look was murderous.

"what do you mean by that?" I asked him

"you know very well what I meant," he said walking up to me. "where have you been all day?" he asked

"I was rehearsing my lines..." I started

"spare me that bullshit!" he cut in "I am tired of listening to that lie, what sort of rehearsals took you the whole day?"

"I..."

"you what? go on, tell me whatever cock and bull story you've been able to come up with," he said raising his voice at me

"what's up with you Jade? what are you getting worked up about" I asked closing the gap between us. "is there a problem at the office?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck.

"It would have been better if there was problem at the office," he said removing my hands from his neck and pushed me away "have you been drinking?" he asked

"do you have a problem with that" I asked

"wow, so not only have you been spending your entire day with Blake, you are now drinking."

"so this is about Blake,"

"yes, because all I do is take care of you and you spend your entire day with him, claiming that you are rehearsing your lines. you wouldn't have even gotten this role without me, if I didn't pull some strings would you have ever gotten to be the main lead in such an important director's movie?"

"I got this role... because of... you?" I asked looking surprised

"of course, do you think that by acting two movies with menial roles you can suddenly become a main lead?"

I was dumbfounded.

"the shoot hasn't even started and you are spending lots of time away from home, forgetting about all the things you planned on doing. because of Blake you left your friends at DANIES PLACE, because of Blake you missed our date twice, did you even remember the today was Juliet's spelling bee competition?"

"oh my God Juliet!" I said remembering our plans

"why would you remember when you were with Blake, we're here worried about what could have happened without knowing you were doing this!" he said at the top of his voice and threw a bunch of pictures at me.

I turned to see the pictures scattered around me. They were all pictures of me and Blake, since the previous week we started seeing each other. Blake and I leaving the studio, Blake and I going into a restaurant, at the park, leaving the gym, picture of Blake placing flower between my ear and the most shocking one was pictures of Blake helping me out of the club into his car and when he dropped me somewhere close to the house.

"you think you were so smart to make him drop you off far from the house?" he asked

"Jade what is all this? Why are there pictures of Blake and I?" I asked

"isn't it obvious?" he asked

"I know I have been spending a lot of time with Blake but I can't believe you will stoop so low to keep a tab on my every movement and creating crazy stories from these rubbish here," I said

"tell me, did you like the way he touched you? did he fuck you the way I did? answer me... do you prefer his touch to mine? how many times have you fucked him?" he asked shouting at me

I couldn't believe me ears, my eyes swelled up with tears. "Jade I am really sorry that my rehearsals with Blake has made me pay less attention to you and Juliet," I said placing my hands on his arm but he pushed me away. "I'm sorry that it may seem like Blake has taken a lot of my time, but Jade you have absolutely no right to keep a tab on me this way and you have no fucking right to accuse me of cheating on you with Blake. How could you think so low of me? do you have any idea how hurt I am of that accusation?" I cried

"did you consider how hurt I will be when I found out about you and Blake?"

"there is no me and Blake! I can never be with another guy because I love you,"

"LIAR!!! you are a horrible liar, don't you dare say that you love me because you don't. I gave you everything, I made you what you are now and this is how you could repay me? I'll never forgive you for this UK, NEVER!!!"
