"OMG UK, you were so amazing, that should give them something to talk about for a long time," Xiao Ling said excitedly when we got into the car.

"God I'm so tired," I said rubbing my temple. we had to drop Xiao Ling and Darren at their places, which made us not to meet up with Jade and Juliet. Juliet was already fast asleep and Hannah was changing her into her pajamas when I got to her room, I slowly closed the door and went to my room. I took a quick shower, changed into a pink night gown which was about 5 inches below my buttocks.

My stomach rumbled with hunger, God, When last did I eat, I thought. I made my way to the kitchen to make instant ramen noodles for myself, the kitchen lights were off but I didn't want to alarm others so I went in with my phone flashlight. I was standing on my toes, stretching to reach the cup of ramen on top of the pantry when I felt a warm body press me from behind. I went still, "shhh UK it's me," it was Jade, I released a breath

"What are you doing Mr Kale?" I asked

"Helping a friend," he said and brought down the cup of instant ramen noodles "because that's what friends do," he placed light kisses on my neck, which sent butterflies in my stomach.

"I want to properly thank my girlfriend, but there are so many ways to do it, what do you suggest?" Why did he have to sound so sexy, my legs couldn't hold my body, I had to hold his hand for support. He turned me to face him, "how do you want me to properly thank you?" He asked

"Just kiss me Jade"

"Your wish is my command, milady," he said and took me to paradise with his kisses.

We made out, right there in the kitchen, for about an hour. that was the first time I'd ever let someone do more than kiss me and I was glad that person was Jade. When we were done, he fixed the noodles for me and sat on the kitchen counter, watching me eat.

I went to bed that night feeling so satisfied and happy, could Jade be having feelings for me?

The following day was Sunday, Juliet and I resumed our dance lessons and Jade sat on the steps of the pouch with a jug of freshly squeezed orange juice, watching us.

I checked the website and of course, I was the topic of discussion. There was a new hastag, new\_york\_love\_ukpono. They were praising me and talking wonderful things about me.

I had a fun-filled day, Jade brought good

news, more than 5000 bottles of Night Dream have been sold already. Saying I was happy is an understatement.

I woke up early Monday morning to see a carton on the dinning table, "Jade, what's up with the box this morning?" I asked

"Oh it's for you, from your sister," he replied.

I dropped my cup of coffee and ran immediately to the box, there was a note pasted on it, "FROM UT TO MY LOVING BABY SISTER, UKPONO, I HOPE YOU LOVE THIS"

I told my fork and tore the tape on the carton, there were so many plastic bags inside, I opened the first one and I saw something I never thought I'll ever see for a long time. My sister gave me home made garri, the best food ever.

Garri is cassava flour which have been fried to grain like form. If mixed with hot water, it can be eaten with soup and can also be mixed with cold water, sugar and groundnut. Best combo ever.In another plastic bag, contained a bottle of peeled groungdnut and... 3 dried fish? It was odd to see dried fish, I know that some people enjoy sipping garri with dried fish but I don't and my sister knew very well, then why did she send dried fish? I thought. I went through another plastic bag and saw a pack of Star Maggie seasoning cube, Uyayak (Aidan fruit), and a 2kg pack of Ayoola poundo (yam flour).

I didn't need an oracle to tell me what all these were for, my wonderful sister gave me ingredients to make white soup.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God," I exclaimed, jumping excitedly.

"What's in the box Mommy?" Juliet asked

I was so excited that I forgotten about Jade and Juliet and everything around me, my attention was fixed on what my sister sent, Juliet's question brought me back to reality.

"Oh pumpkin, my sister sent food stuffs for one of my favorite food, something I haven't eaten in a long time and I'm so excited," I answered

"Is that why you were jumping like an Easter Bunny?" She asked giggling and Jade threw his head backwards and laughed out loud.

"Hey!" I threw a napkin at her, feigning annoyance. "Ok, imagine you went to a place far away from here, I'm not there with you and daddy is not there. Everything there is nice but there's nothing like chocolate cookies, after staying there for a very long time, daddy sent someone to bring a basket of chocolate cookies, how would you feel?" I asked

"I will be so so happy," Juliet replied

"See, that's how I feel right now, so you don't have to blame me if I'm acting this way," I told her.

"So will you eat that now?" Jade asked

"Oh no, this can wait, but those blueberry pancakes can't," I replied closing the box and sat to eat. "Wow Hannah, is this a new recipe? It's so different from what you've been doing and I must say, this is really delicious,"

"I made them" Jade said and I spat out the water in my mouth with force out of shock.

"Gross..." Juliet shouted, I dabbed the table with a napkin, "I have lived with you for 3 months now and never have I heard or seen you cook. I can't believe you made this," I said

After breakfast, I went to Jade's room to tell him of my wish to change career. "Jade? Can I come in?" I called

"Sure, come in hun," he answered

I went in to an empty bedroom, "where are you?" I called out

"In the bathroom, be out in a minute," he said

"Alright, I'll just wait here till you're out," I said sitting on his bed

"Fantastic idea," he replied. He came out few minutes later with a towel around his waist and drying his hair with another, water dripping down his beautiful chest. I gulped and quickly looked away so that he doesn't catch me ogling at him, too late. "You don't have to look away, after all, you really enjoyed caressing it last night," he said tucking a lock of hair behind my ear.

"I…I…There's something I'd like to discuss and I'd appreciate it if you got properly dressed, what I have to say is really important and I don't want anything distracting me," I said.

"Do... I…Distract…you?" He drawled

I closed my eyes and exhaled, "yes, so please stop, this is a really important thing I want to say,"

He didn't say anything, but I could hear clothes ruffling, soon the fragrance of his cologne filled the room, I slowly opened my eyes to see him combing his hair with his back to me. He was on casual wear, "aren't you going to the office?" I asked

"No, for now I don't have anything really important to do, and I normally take a one week off after a successful launch. So what did you have to say?"

"I don't want to study English education anymore," I said

He was taken aback, "but the scholarship is for English education" he said

"Yes I know, that is why I came to you, I want to know if there's a way I can easily change my course of study," I said

"And if you can, what are you changing to?"

"Acting, I want to be an actress."

"I knew it already, I was actually hoping you would. You don't have to worry, you have my full support and if they choose to take away your Scholarship then it doesn't matter, I'd gladly pay your tuition and everything that needs to be paid."

"Thank you so much Jade," I said hugging him, I was surprised that he accepted immediately, what did I do to deserve such a wonderful person in my life.

"Then it's official, my girlfriend would be soon be in Hollywood. I'm so proud of you Ukpono and I'm sure your family will be proud of the woman you've become."
