After all dignitaries present have been introduced, Jade gave a long speech, talking about the perfume, thanking everybody that helped in making the event take place, including me of course. When it was time to unveil the perfume, the MC called me, Jade and 4 other people on stage, we all placed our hands on a lever while everyone else started the countdown, "5... 4... 3... 2... 1...pull!"

And we pulled the lever down which opened a curtain, revealing thousands of Night Dream bottles of different sizes. They were placed on some kind of rotating panel, it was was spinning slowly, with beautiful fireworks surrounding them. This presentation was so beautiful, I clasped my hands on my chest in awe, my boyfriend was such an amazing person with great people who worked with him to pull this off.

The guests were clapping and cheering, Jade's face was beaming with smile, I scanned the crowd and saw that people were looking at me, some were smiling and some looking at me curiously. Juliet hugged Jade when we got back to our seat and shook my hand, this girl was amazing and smarter than her age, she was quick to notice that we weren't supposed to act like we were very close so that people won't start gossiping.

As the ceremony progressed, Jade slide a note to me, "long into the company's website immediately and search for Night Dream launch" I didn't understand what he meant but I quickly checked the site anyway, what I saw was shocking and heartwarming. People were talking about the guests and what was happening here, but most of the outstanding topics were about me.

I clicked on the hashtag and hundreds of comments about me filled my screen.

"Forget about everyone else, let's talk about the face of Night Dream, forgive me if I can't spell out her name. What do you guys think about her?"

That comment had lots of replies

"She is a black girl, it's shocking to see Mr Jaden Kale working with a black person"

"It doesn't matter if she is black or white, she is perfect for Night Dream"

"I don't know why but I'm loving her already"

"She looks so pure and innocent"

"I checked Google but I can't find anything about her"

"Maybe she is a low key model, that not withstanding, she looks amazing"

"Even the way she walks and pose is beautiful"

"Who said black is not beautiful, this is a clear evidence"

This went on and on, I couldn't believe my eyes, they just saw me today and I didn't do anything spectacular, other than taking one or two pictures and pulling the lever which unveiled the perfume. I haven't even said anything and they just decided to love me.

"it seems someone has made fans for herself already," Jade texted, I looked at him briefly and smiled.

I didn't want people thinking ill of me because I was paying much attention to my phone so I put it inside my clutch and tried to pay attention to what the person on stage was saying, but my mind wandered off to the comments I saw about me, If this is how it feels to be a model, I love it and want more.

Finally, the event came to an end, I was well aware that people would like to talk to me, I looked at Jade and mouthed "help" He walked up to me, smiling, "Miss Udofia, I am so grateful for what you've done, thank you so much"

I lowered my voice, "Jade how will I get away from her without getting interviewed by all these people?"

''I am really, really sorry to say this but you are on your own, I really need to do some last minute work to successfully end this event. Sorry, I'm sure you can wow them, just don't say much about yourself, if they are adamant, tell them you need time to prepare for a press conference, good luck." And off he went, shaking hands and tapping on people's back, I turned to see someone point at me and then the paparazzi came running towards me.

Oh boy, I am in so much trouble...I tried keeping myself busy by playing a game on my phone, while waiting for the paparazzi to come over and bombard me with questions."Miss Udofia, your ride is ready, we can leave anytime you are ready," I heard a female voice say behind me. I turned around to see Xiao Ling on suits and dark shades, "what are you wearing and... didn't I see you few minutes ago wearing a dress?" I asked

"yes you did, I just wanted to make you look cool. The face of Night Dream has a hot female Chinese bodyguard and I do know some karate moves, isn't it fantastic?" she said removing her glasses.

"wow, that glass almost fool me for a second," I replied

"so what are you waiting for? let's go, the ceremony was a success and it's over," she said

"I was waiting for the paparazzi to come in and interview me before leaving, it will be a bit awkward if I just leave. I don't want anyone to have an excuse to speculate nonsense about me," I said.

"Hahahahahah, you are so funny. earlier today you were scared of being in front of so many people as the face of Night Dream, but here you are waiting for the paps to come interview you. what changed?" Xiao Ling asked.

"I don't know, I guess I like this and want to go deeper, I plan on changing career to acting, it seems I'm really good at it and others can see it in me," I replied

"well that is a bit shocking to know and at the same time, it is great but if you want to talk to those people, you need to go out. They are not allowed in here, you don't have to worry, I came with reinforcement, right over there" I followed her hand and saw Darren dressed the way she was, standing by the door. "This is really nice, come on let's go," I said and we went out.

"Miss Udofia..."

"how come you are the face of Night Dream instead of MJ? How did you make Mr Kale choose you?"

I stopped on my track and turned to the person who asked the question, "nobody chose me to be the face of Night Dream, I chose to do this and as for MJ, she was the person who broke the contract with Royale Fragrance by leaving them few days to the launch. Does that answer your question, Carlos?" I asked, reading his name from the tag clipped on his shirt.

"What sort of relationship did you have with Mr Kale and why did you choose to be the face of Night Dream?"

"Mr Kale and I are very good friends and he has helped me in so many ways, when I heard of what happened, I decided to return the favor. I helped him not because he has helped me in the past but because that's what friends do," I replied

"we all know that Mr Kale hate blacks, how come you are an exception?"

"I don't know what sort of beef he has with blacks but he has always been friendly with me,"

"what agency do you work for?"

"I don't work for any agency"

"how do you get jobs?"

"why haven't we heard anything about you apart from today?"

"what exactly do you do?"

"are you friendly with Mr Kale's daughter, Juliet?"

"tell us more about yourself,"

The questions were thrown from every angle, "this is the first time I'm doing something like this. Juliet and I are friends," I answered

"my name is Ukpono Udofia and I'm from Nigeria. I'm sorry I can't say more, this event is for Night Dream and not for me, we will talk some other time," I said and we left to the car
