I went out quietly to my room, as soon as I shut the door to my room, I started singinging and dancing. "I am Jade's fiancee, I am Jade's fiancee, I am Jade's fiancee, I am Jade's fiancee,"

"Are you really daddy's fiancee?" Juliet asked making me to jump in fright

"oh my God, Juliet you scared me," I said holding my chest

"sorry Mommy UK. so tell me, are you really daddy's fiancee?"

"well not really, we're just playing a game where I am his fiancee," I said smiling

"oh, if you say so. I just wanted to stay with you, that is if you want," she said.

"of course honey, I'm always happy when you are with me. It's a good thing that you're here, I need your help."

"what can I do to help you mommy UK?"

"You see, daddy and I are going somewhere and there are people who want to take him away from us, I need to protect him, and the first step is to wear something so gorgeous that once they look at me, they will be too scared to come near me or your daddy. I want you to help me choose something nice to wear, can you do that for me?" I asked, she was grinning and nodding her head.

"It will be like playing dress up with my doll, except I'm playing with mommy UK," she was really happy.

I went to my closet and brought out a beautiful green wrap dress, immediately Juliet saw it, she shook her head, "Mommy UK, you are not wearing that right?"

"you don't like it?" I asked

"it's okay but not for tonight's event," she replied.

"okay, how about this?" I asked bringing out a royal blue gown and she shook her head. "Fine, how about this gown?"

"mommy UK it is perfect" Juliet answered giving thumbs up with both hands. It was a velvet burgundy high waist skirt with matching spaghetti hand crop top.

"Juliet? You still coming?" We heard Hannah call.

"Oh my, I have forgotten I was going out with Hannah, sorry Mommy UK but I have to leave you now," Juliet said.

"Don't worry, you've done enough for me, thank you. Now go meet Hannah before she leaves you," I told her and she hugged me and ran out.

I took the other clothes I removed and returned them to the closet, since I was dressing up alone, I still had a lot to do.

I'm even happy that Xiao Ling made me go make a new hair yesterday, I loosened my braided attachment and fixed a short curly weavon. At least now I won't have to suffer to style my braids and the hair covered the left side of my forehead, which was great because I had a scar there.

I attempted to do a simple make up and it turned out great, a little dab of nude lipstick, mascara and powder did the trick. I used black gel in decorating the edges, since I didn't have anything to carry except my phone, I didn't carry a purse. I wore a 4 inches white sandals, then to the jewelries, my favorite wool bracelet, nothing fancy just a gift from my sister. A pair of stud earrings and for the final touch, the ring Jade wore me that day in the presence of Mrs Maurice. Since I was acting as his fiancee tonight, I wore the ring on the middle finger of my left hand.

"Honey can you please speed up a little bit, I got the time wrong and we have about 10 minutes to get there or we'd be late," Jade said

"I'm done already," I answered opening the door.

"Wow, you look… really really amazing," he complimented

"thank you, Juliet picked it for me," I said, "you look really amazing yourself,"

He was on a grey tuxedo, with checked shirt and a blue tie that had white dots.

He held my hands together and kissed my knuckles, "Let's go rock that party."Scott drove us to the venue, the place looked packed up already from outside, there were cars everywhere. Scott turned and opened the door for us, Jade went out first and extended his hand for me. I was blinded by camera lights the moment I came out, "Oh my gosh it's Jaden Kale"

"Mr Kale over here please"

"Look, he brought a date, he's never brought a date for an event"

The comments and pictures by journalists and people around there went on and on, it frightened me. Never in my life have I received such attention before, I held on to Jade as if my life depended on him, it seemed these people wanted to swallow us up.

Jade seemed unfazed in all the commotion, in fact he was really smiling to the camera, I on the other side was on the brink of having a heart attack. Jade noticed the change in my look and whispered, "now will be a good time to you know... charm everyone as the beloved fiancee of Jaden Kale." I looked at him, did he think I can really pull that off now? I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, when I opened, I noticed something. This was no ordinary party, it was a red carpet birthday party, "why didn't you tell me it was a red carpet event, I feel underdressed," I whispered to him. It seemed when we whispered to each other, the journalists grow wild in excitement. "I don't care about what others think but you are the most beautiful woman in this place tonight," he said and I smiled sheepishly.

We were inside, where the main ceremony was taking place. Jade dropped what looked like an invitation card at the entrance and we were escorted into a room, this was definitely not the room the party was taking place, it was more like a place people took pictures, chat and gossip about others who came to the party, of course majority of them were women.

"More pictures?" I asked groaning

"You know this is the first time I've met a woman who doesn't like to be taken lots of pictures," Jade said chuckling

"well I am a different person, you don't expect me to be like other women you've been with." I replied

We took few pictures, and then left the floor for others, "remind me why we're waiting here again?" I asked

"We're waiting for my name to be announced, everyone here is." he replied

"My feet are starting to hurt because of standing for a long time on these shoes," I grumbled"Sorry, could you wait here for a moment, I need to meet someone over there, I be back in a minute," Jade said

"take your time," I replied and he left.

I scanned the room for an empty seat, I found one and went to seat but immediately I got there, a woman dropped her purse and took the seat, "I'm sorry, is this your seat?" she asked scanning me from head to toe

"no, nevermind I'll just sit somewhere else," I said smiling even if I knew there wasn't anywhere else to sit in this room.

"don't leave, I could get up for you," the woman said

"you don't need to do that," I said and left because people were starting to stare at us. I went to the place I was standing before but the spot was taken by a group of women, I felt really out of place, the clothes I wore was nothing compared to that of these women. One of them noticed me and alerted others, the one who noticed me approached me.
