Here is the most prosperous office building in the center of the city. From the huge window walls here, you can see the scenery of the entire city center.

The position I'm applied for was a part-time personal assistant for an actress, and because it was a short-term contract, the pay was high and the working hours were relatively free. I knocked on the door, and a serious- looking man opened the door for me, he told me his name was Joe.

“It is going to be a challenging position, because most of your working hours would be at night, mostly starting from 1am to 6am, are you sure you are okay with that? ”

I nodded my head firmly. Staying up all night might be hard for normal human, but for me, a werewolf, it’s very easy. Besides, I’d rather stay awake at night than kept having those weird dreams about Athan Buffay and wolves.

We took an elevator and went down, Joe said Elaine was getting ready for a magazine cover shooting. As we walked through the hallway, everyone seemed so busy, a tense atmosphere spread throughout the floor, and these working humans were almost running at work.

Elaine waved her hands to Joe, and he left the room and closed the door, there were only the two of us left in the room. Surprisingly, she was not surprised to see me.

“I told you, I was his assistant, nothing more.” I lowered my eyes, didn't look at her, and continued, "Why, do you miss him? ”

“Shut up! Now that you work for me, you will be answering my questions!” Elaine leaned toward my face said fiercely, “don’t you dare question me!”

I looked up and met her pretty eyes, and laughed: “don’t get angry at me so easily yet, Elaine, I’m not your enemy. Now will you tell me the reason you hire me?”

Elaine rolled her eyes and spoke back: “I just want to see what happened to you, how did you pissed off Athan and got throwed out!”

“If you are so curious, why don’t you give him a call and ask?” Elaine’s face turned red when she heard my words, and she raised her hand to hit me. I caught her wrist and pushed it back, said to her calmly: “that’s right, I know that you are never allowed to show up in front of him, and I also don’t plan to see him ever again.
