Chapter 67: Chapter 67

"What?" Cindy eyed her.

"Oh I said you do what I want," Ellen smiled.

Cindy was at a loss for what to say. First, since she has not actually been at the hospital to visit Daisy, she does not know Ellen. However, along their way here, Daisy introduced Ellen to Cindy as her exclusive nurse and new friend.

"I'll do what you say?" Cindy scoffed. "Like you're what?"

"Like I'm someone who knows a little secret you definitely don't want Daisy to know about," Ellen replied feeling smug.

"First, tell me what evidence you have about the incident. A video?" Cindy scoffed irritably.

"Daisy and I have been best friends for more than three years now. And you think you can come from nowhere to spill a bunch of trash to her and she will just believe you?"

"Babe, you've got no evidence to back up your claim!" Cindy laughed while Ellen just stared on with a smirk.

"All I have to do is tell her you are lying. Babe, she would effortlessly believe you just want to ruin our friendship and relationship. Who do you think you are? You think so highly of yourself get out!"

Afterwards, Ellen shrugged and then turned to leave, like she was unaffected by whatever Cindy said.

Cindy stood on a spot in the restroom, her arms crossed while she fumed in anger.

She was obviously pissed now.

"And who the hell does she think she is to threaten me?!"

"That bitch. Let me see what she can do. I'll make sure she meets her end for this!"

While fuming and seemingly really displeased, Cindy suddenly heard a ding sound from the purse in her hand. She dipped her hand into it to get out her phone, wondering who had sent her a message.

After taking out her phone and checking it out, she saw a short audio clip from an unknown number.

'Who is this?'

Her brows furrowed slightly.

Anyways, she simply shrugged, then played the clip.

"What are you doing? What are you up to?!"

Cindy heard her voice ring out immediately after she played the clip.

"And what exactly is funny?"

"Oh well, I never knew you had this side of you when you had your gown rolled up in the washroom yesterday with your best friend's boyfriend pounding you from behind."

That was Ellen's voice and Cindy's eyes immediately widened at that.

"What what?! She was recording all along??"

"What do you want Ellen?"

Cindy paused the audio following that and rushed to peep out of the restroom. And there she saw Ellen walking briskly towards where Daisy was sitting.

"Oh my God! That bitch!" Cindy gasped in fear as her eyes widened.

"How did she even get my number? Just how?!"

Panicking, Cindy immediately dialled the number that had sent the voice clip.

From where she stood peeping at Ellen, she saw her pause abruptly to check her phone.

"Don't show that to her, Ellen!" Cindy spat through the phone once the call connected.

"Oh you still have some nerves," Ellen replied.

"Okay okay fine you win. You've got a really strong evidence."

"Now let's talk about it. What do you want from me?"

Ellen chuckled.

In the restaurant, now all alone, Daisy had remained seated while she stared into space. With so many things running through her mind.

She had so many questions, so many things she wanted to find out about. The restaurant was a private one and they had booked this part of the restaurant so they were the only ones here and right now that she was alone, she could not help but think about her life.

Initially, they wouldn't let her leave the hospital. But in the end, they yielded and let Ellen go out with her.

Daisy had managed to send Violet away by convincing her to go to school. She did not want even her dad to know she stepped out afterwards so they wouldn't be worried. After all, she was now sick and tired of that place.

She needed this fresh air.

Then what about the weird gazes from some people?

Not so many people saw her on her way out of the hospital. She had used her car following that and the only time a few people saw her was when she entered the restaurant. But even as that, some had looked at her weirdly.

Yes, now they knew she was a victim but it was her sex tape that went out there. Maybe if she had not seen how the video is, she might not be able to step out again.

But at least...

Even though she had promised herself not to be bothered by it, she still could not shake some reactions off. She isn't all that thick-skinned after all.

'Since I can come out of the hospital and even here, shouldn't I have just messaged Wesley and found a way to meet up with him?' she thought.

Following that, she picked up her phone wanting to text him but then she paused.

'Since we already agreed on the weekend, then I'll just wait till then. Weekend is just a few days from now after all.'

Daisy huffed and then put down her phone.

"Where did Ellen and Cindy go besides?" She asked no one in particular.

But then, Daisy suddenly remembered something.

She had a really terrifying dream when she was still at Rose's place outskirts of town. Before her dad came to take her home.

That lady that was going to shoot her in that dish she had fallen into had got into a fight with someone when the light suddenly went off.

She had then heard the man in a white coat who had suddenly appeared say, "Wesley, let go of her now or I'll shoot her."

"Wesley?" Daisy muttered, her eyes widening.

It was as if she was only just realising that.

"Why Wesley? Is it the same Wesley I know or is there another Wesley?"

She wished there was someone she could ask all her questions who would give her answers.

"That's strange," she huffed again.

"Well, not like I believe in dreams or the sort anyway. Besides, the dream made no sense. "

Suddenly hearing footsteps approaching, Daisy looked behind her to see Cindy and Ellen coming towards her. They were chit-chatting like friends. No tension whatsoever, and Cindy even chuckled at whatever Ellen said to her.

'Huh? When and how did they become friends?' Daisy was surprised that she raised her brows.

'Well, Cindy has always been a nice and easygoing person anyway. But them being this way just in less than two hours of them meeting each other is a bit surprising though. And maybe 'cause I introduced Ellen as a friend.'

Daisy shrugged after thinking of all those.

The two got to the table and took back their sits.

"We met in the restroom. Ellen is quite a humourous person," Cindy said and Daisy smiled.

If Cindy likes Ellen, then she would like her more. And maybe Rose too would like her after meeting her and they'd now be four friends.

'Cool'

"Okay let's get the menu. I'm famished guys," Ellen said while waving a waiter over.

Daisy chuckled. "I saw you eat this morning. You eat too much this girl."

The three of them laughed at that and even the waiter smiled when she got to them.

But they were suddenly interrupted by the ringing of a phone.

Cindy immediately began to search her purse.

It was her phone ringing.

"Who is calling me again at this time? I'm busy..." She laughed but froze immediately she took it out and saw the private number displayed on her screen.

'The Lady from the Coasters???!'

'After over a week of not getting in contact with me...?'

Anyways, she cleared her throat and immediately adjusted her domineer trying to look less suspicious then she coughed lightly and looked up at her friends.

"Okay guys, I've got to pick this," she winked while she rose to her feet.

"Gerrout," Daisy laughed.

Cindy chuckled then stuck out her tongue while she picked up the call, placed it on her ear and began taking small steps away.

She wondered what the lady from the Coasters wanted to tell her to do now and she was quite curious.

What's more, should would report Ellen to the Lady.

'I'll be a good thing if she gets rid of that bitch!'

But what the Lady asked her caused her to freeze on the spot.

"Is Ellen there with you?"
