Chapter 65: Chapter 65
Just outside of Finn's media where they usually shoot their commercial adverts was the commercial set bustling with a hive of activity. The place was filled with crew members diligently preparing for the shoot.
Colorful props, chic furniture, and a beautifully arranged array of flowers created a captivating partway, and carefully placed decorations created an inviting and visually stunning backdrop.
Soft lights illuminated the set. Then there was director Carlson huddling with the crew, going over last-minute details and ensuring that every aspect was perfect.
Among the crew members and a part of Finn's media staff videographers and staff from Dior, a perfume brand in Australia.
Cindy Auston would be shooting a perfume commercial for this brand.
Cindy was standing tall and confident, coupled with the fact that she looked really beautiful and sexy, like a freshly scented flower.
Even Dior's manager standing by the side looked pretty satisfied by their choice of model. She seemed like she would do even better than most professional models.
Cindy is also a model after all. Just that she's more of an actress and artist than a model.
Facing about half a dozen poised cameras, she radiated a very beautiful smile with a confident and sexy domineer.
But deep down, she was troubled. It was already almost twenty-four hours since that incident in the washroom back at the hospital but she was yet to hear anything or know if Daisy already knew about it.
"She definitely knows. Ellen definitely already told her what she saw," she muttered to herself, still holding her bright smile.
"I'm screwed!"
Yesterday, while shooting the part of the commercial, she had been scared all through, thinking Daisy would suddenly call her or barge in, but there had been nothing like that.
Now here she was, shooting the last part of the commercial. She hasn't heard from Edward too and she has been left utterly scared and confused. Hanging in the air.
"Alright, everyone, places! Let's get this show on the road!" Director Carlson started out excitedly, walking away from the videography team and then towards Cindy.
The crew members scurry around, adjusting lights, setting up the cameras, and making final touches to the set. The atmosphere was electric, and everyone was focused on creating the perfect shot.
Now everything was set. Her makeup, dress, everything.
The cameraman then adjusted the camera.
"Camera rolling! And... action!"
Cindy started out, walking gracefully down their man-made picturesque street, lined with an array of flowers. The morning sunlight cast a beautiful glow around her.
She smiled warmly as she passed by actors portraying happy friends enjoying their time together. And just as she gets to them, they seem suddenly awestruck by Cindy walking along, before them.
Then they began portraying and demonstrating just how enchanting she scented.
The scenery was glamorous, coupled with the lighting, the backdrop, and the soft bubbles floating in the air. Then the sideline actors portraying and demonstrating, it seemed as if they were really enthralled and enchanted.
"Cindy, keep that radiant smile! You're doing great!" Carlson called out. Even he seemed particularly excited.
Cindy walked past the first group who still kept looking at her now from a distance, enchanted, their noses in the air. As she continued walking, she came across another group of friends laughing and chatting at a made-up cafe.
This time, she joined them.
Even the way she poised and gratefully took her sit eluded a particular charm so serene. Everything so effortlessly.
Then they all began to look at her with wide eyes.
"Oh my God Cindy. You smell so good!"
"Oh my Cindy what brand is this?"
"This has got to be the most pleasant I've ever perceived!"
Different complements floated in the air. Their acting was so natural that Carlson felt really really satisfying.
"And cut! That was fantastic," Director Carlson said excitedly. "Cindy! We got it!"
"You all did very good jobs," Carlson praised all the sideline actors.
The crew applauded and Cindy despite having a very bright excited smile of accomplishment on the outside, felt worried and troubled deep down.
The director approached her while beaming.
"You nailed it, Cindy! This is going to be an incredible commercial!"
Cindy could only blush. "Thank you so much! I couldn't have done it without this amazing team."
The way she said it, one would immediately characterize her as an angel with the perfect character and temperament.
The director turned to the team and gave a thumbs up, and they all cheered in response.
"Alright, everyone, let's move on to the next thing," he said before turning to Cindy in particular.
"You know this is just you," he said to her and she nodded.
Yes, the next part of the commercial would be picture shoots for the brand. And that would be all for Dior scent signature.
The makeup artist immediately stepped forward toward Cindy then together, they walked back to where they would be having the photoshoot.
"I just have to do a little fixing. Just your lipstick seems slightly smudged," the makeup artist said.
And when Cindy sat down, she immediately got to work on her face, quickly touching up Cindy's makeup
This time, knowing she can't appear tense in the pictures, Cindy took a moment to soak it all in. The adrenaline rush, and the camaraderie, all caused she had pent-up nervousness within her.
As the cameras started rolling, Cindy exuded more confidence, striking model-like poses with allure while she demonstrated and displayed the products.
The lighting illuminated her features, enhancing everything about the pictures and the crew members, intently focused on capturing every captivating moment. They directed her to switch between various elegant stances.
However, in the midst of the shoot, something suddenly caught Cindy's keen eyes. Her gaze was drawn towards a sleek black Benz slowly approaching the set.
Then the car glided to a smooth stop, and the door opened to reveal Daisy stepping out.
Cindy's heart skipped a beat and her eyes widened.
At that moment her head went blank. She was torn between the allure of the camera's spotlight and whatever reason Daisy had come here.
Could there be any other reason asides from the fact that she had found out from Ellen??
Her composure wavered despite how hard she tried to maintain her professional demeanor. Even the crew had noticed something was amiss.
"Cindy?" The director walked towards her as he called her softly.
No one seemed to have noticed who she was looking at in anxiety. She never knew she was this scared of Daisy finding out about her unfaithfulness.
Cindy needed no soothsayer to tell her. She knew she was finished cause why in the world would Daisy leave the hospital when she is not yet discharged to come look for her?
And even the fact that Edward was not there, and there was also Ellen standing by the side. She knew just what it was.
"This definitely is the end of my games..."
