Chapter 50: Chapter 50
"Do you have sex with Daisy all the time like this?" Cindy's voice sounded in the dimly lit room.
The faint light streaming in showed it was just the early hours of the morning.
Edward simply stared at her face who was straddling him and just like that, her question was met with silence.
Seeing he would not reply, she raised her brows at him stubbornly, urging him to give her a response.
"That question is way too personal and should be between me and my girlfriend!" He scoffed, feeling upset and reluctant.
"We shouldn't even be here doing this in the first place," he scoffed again.
Cindy stared at him in awe at his outburst, but next, she chuckled.
"We shouldn't be doing this but you would not let me rest all through and rode me all night. Oh, really Edward?" She teased him naughtily with a smirk.
Edward sighed and shook his head.
"You shouldn't have brought yourself here," he stated matter of fact.
"But each time I bring myself to you, you're never able to resist me. You do fall straight up, huh," she mocked.
Edward still had that part of him buried deep inside her while she straddled him.
Then, she began rolling her hips, twisting and turning teasing him, while giving him that dirty look.
"Now answer my question. Do you both have sex all the time like this?"
"Daisy doesn't seem like the sex freak to me, unlike you," she said and chuckled.
This time, Edward bluntly replied, "She does not like sex"
Hearing this, she could not help but laugh out loud.
"How then have you been coping? Don't tell me you've been cheating on her even before now...?"
She then laughed and bit her lips seductively.
"I'll give you sex all the time as you wish, tempting?" She drawled.
Totally ignoring her, Edward suddenly grabbed her hips and raising her up slightly, he guided her to ride him.
Getting the clue, Cindy chuckled softly and began riding him like the cowgirl that she is.
But in less than a minute, Edward flipped her over and now with him on top, he ramped into her and went in till she was screaming her lungs out in pleasure.
In the opulent expanse of his lavish office, Wesley sat glumly while staring at his phone on his table. His perfectly tailored suit hugged his frame, and he was looking extremely handsome but even as that, he looked upset and pissed about something.
Since he got into his office, he had been contemplating trying to reach Daisy Louis again.
In the end, with a mixture of pride and arrogance, he reached for his smartphone and dialled Daisy's number.
"That dammed actress!" he cursed.
However, once he dialled her number, the went unconnected making his brows furrow deeply.
"Oh she still hasn't unblocked me," he scoffed angrily.
He felt his ego really hurt.
Silence broke into the office as Wesley looked extremely upset now.
"I'd make sure she comes to me. And if she doesn't, I'll just leave her to die!" He spat and with that went on to switch on the vast monitor in front of him to go on with the day's work.
But after a few minutes, Wesley sighed and leaned into his chair.
'Why do I worry so much about her?' he sighed inwardly.
Feeling Daisy really might be clueless about who he is or the fact that he could actually be of help, he decides to find a way to reach out to her.
'I'm just doing her a huge favour and there's nothing wrong in that,' he thought.
In the end, he reached for his phone and this time rang a Croxxed X instead.
"Find out the name and address of the hospital where Daisy is currently staying," Wesley instructed, his authoritative tone commanding a wrapped veil of urgency.
Following that, he terminated the call and leaned back into his seat with a complicated look on his face.
"It costs me nothing to help her out. So this is no big deal," he muttered.
Wesley had returned back to work and now, his figure looked engrossed in whatsoever he was doing. And even as that, it did not make him any less of the handsome man that he is.
But just then, Andrew walked into the office, a piece of paper in his hand with his head lowered, seemingly engrossed in whatever was on the paper.
Wesley's raised his head and watched him walk closer. He could not help but raise his brow as he wondered what was on the paper.
"Guess what the men found?" Andrew said as he drew nearer. Stopping in front of Wesley, he stretched out the paper to him who first stared at him questioningly before taking the paper.
"Found this early this morning in that dark room Josh met with the woman at that restaurant they had their three-years relationship anniversary two weeks about. But then I got the men to check CCTV and she was in that longue yesterday evening but with Richard this time," Andrew said.
"Richard?"
"You mean that doctor?" Wesley asked surprised with his eyes slightly narrowed.
"Yes," Andrew replied.
"Got the man to go after them?" Wesley asked immediately.
"Yes but they lost track of the Lady but are still after Richard," Andrew sighed in response.
"I don't know why I have this strong feeling that that Lady is either Rose Johnson or Cindy Auston, one of Daisy Louis' friends" Wesley muttered.
Andrew looked at him, shrugged then said, "Well, don't know. I doubt it's Cindy. Cindy seems really dense and stupid to me to be able to play two different personalities correctly without anyone finding out."
"Just get the men to find out where she was at that time," Wesley waved him off.
"It really might be someone else honestly. I doubt it's Cindy and then Rose has been in the hospital. What's more, she is the real prime minister's daughter just like you found out yourself," Andrew stated.
"I still think we should try to spread out the wings of our investigation. It really might be someone outside that cycle," Andrew added then breathed out.
Wesley raised up his head and shot him a look.
"Ever thought about the possibility of it being that the real Rose is the one on the hospital bed right now, while the one we've been seeing, the TV star, Daisy's friend is the real impersonator?" Wesley asked while tapping his long fingers on the table.
Andrew was stunned when he heard that and he looked at Wesley in shock.
Cause hell, there is a possibility in what Wesley just said.
In the end, he sighed and said, "I thought you decided to drop Daisy's case."
Wesley looked down at the paper in his hand and reread what was written there, "The masks and the Coasters."
Then he looked back up at Andrew then said, "This lady, I don't know what she is called. This coaster Lady definitely has something to do with Sarah."
"Just look at Sarah's sudden change and then disappearance. No clue, no trace, just something seaming natural and unsuspicious. Then Daisy's situation. The strategy seems so alike. Till you figure out a signal regarding where Sarah is, the main suspect is this Lady. But then, who exactly is she?"
"For now, I have no interest in why she's doing this," Wesley ended his talk and leaned into his chair, leaving Andrew in thoughts and trying to sink in all Wesley had just said.
Suddenly, Andrew voiced out.
"The men found this paper there last week, the following day of the incident when they checked the room. Same writing same handwriting"
Wesley raised his brows when he heard this.
"Last week, they had not thought much about just a mere piece of paper on the floor but now that they saw the same thing, with the same writing..."
