Chapter 42: Chapter 42

"It was all my fault. I should have told you last night. I should've not hurt you. I should've not given you so much space to leave me." Yuvraaj swabbed his tears and hid his face in his palms. He started having cold feet. Perhaps, it was how it had to ended. Maybe, he wasn't made for her. Yet, there was a lot to say to her. It was left to give her credit for filling his life with her giggles and kisses. It was left to tell her that he was in bliss having her in his arms. It was left to remind her that she must not trust anyone so easily. It was left to warn her not to get close to wrong person.

Yuvraaj had realised it correctly that she was a kid by heart. Still a twelve years old who fought with her over a cola can. Foremost, he was yet to tell her that he loved her. But she wasn't there and he missed her.

Like he missed her all these years.

She was gone.

"I failed mom. I failed to keep my wife happy. I failed in treasuring your Sunbai." He gathered himself together. A big task was ahead. He had to explain everyone, he needed to divulge this to her parents and his as well. He was yet to face the music.

"I won't forgive you for this Anahita. I won't forgive you ever." He pledged and sauntered to get out of the place where her memories were painted. He could practically see her peeking out of bathroom or sleeping on the bed peacefully. It was haunting him.

The moment he opened the door, his heart skipped a beat. Anahita was standing on the door, with her hand in the air and a quizzical look on her face. Noticing her, Yuvraaj's life came back to him running and his inner world sparkled. She couldn't send him a smile once she took in his look. Red eyes, disheveled hair, elbow folded shirt with top buttons open and a very passive look painted over his face.

"What has happened to you?" She quirked her eyebrow at him.

"Why are you here?" Anahita blinked severely registering what he uttered through his greeted teeth. Wasn't it their suite? She peeked at the door. She was at right doorstep.

"What do you mean what I'm doing here?" She countered, moving past him and made herself in. "But that's besides point, first tell me what has happened to you?"

"Why do you even care? Take whatever stuff you've and go. I know why you're here." He looked away, feeling weak to face her because if he did, he would end up crushing her in tight hug.

"Yuvraaj," Anahita closed their distance and rubbed his arm, keeping her head upon his shoulder, "What has happened to you? Why are you behaving like this?"

It didn't take him two seconds to jerk her away and pin her to the wall, with her hands above her head.

"Yuvraaj, what are you doing?" Her eyes widened as she felt him breathing rashly and without a preamble, Yuvraaj crashed his lips upon hers, pulling her in a earth shattering kiss, almost like punishing her. He didn't give a chance to her to breath and overheard her surprised moans. Like a warrior, his tongue fought with hers, even though, she didn't resist him, he bit her lip, with every ounce of power to the point of drawing blood.

Anahita was confused yet she didn't fight his kiss and succumbed almost instantly. She was already missing him when he rested his head against hers, still not leaving her hands. Their chests collided when they desperately tried to fill in the void of oxygen and once, Yuvraaj respired enough to hold his breath, his lips found hers again but this time, Anahita resisted his touch. She needed answers first for his dubious behavior before letting him punish her. Not that, she would've minded if her sole punishment was going to be this breathtaking and sensual.

She tried to push his body with hers and squirmed when he flushed her more into him, her hands wriggled under his grip and mewl of protests slipped past her throat. Satiated, Yuvraaj left her mouth and glared her only to be melt seeing her puppy face.

Their rash breathing conveyed their emotions. Anahita deciphered that he was upset, too upset to describe in words but what she didn't know was the reason behind his anger. Yuvraaj relapsed his hold on her hands and turned his back to her, ready to prance away.

"Yuvraaj!" She was quick to impede him by his hands, "Like hell you're walking away. Explain what the fucking hell was that?"

"Explain!" He scoffed, facing her and brushed away the feel of being subjected to her glare. "Do I need to explain? Or is it you who should explain?"

"I should explain what?"

"Nothing. You don't have to explain anything. Just take away your things and get out. Oh wait, you've already nothing in this suite that belongs to you. Isn't it?"

Anahita knew Yuvraaj was beyond angry upon something but fighting with him could only worse the things. Hence, she smiled softly at him and looped her arms around him, "I don't know about other things but there's only one thing that is exclusively mine and that is you." She pressed her lips upon his and murmured, "Please tell me what have I done now that you're so angry?"

"Don't do this, Anahita." He freed himself and began to go but she caged him in a back hug.

"Please Yuvraaj, tell me what is wrong with you? This is not fair, you know, I mean i broke up with that stupid pig only for you and what I see here, is my Darling husband is moping around for no reason. Please tell me."

Relief coursed in his veins as he heard what she said. He unlocked her hands around his waist and turned to her, "You broke up with him? You met him alone? You went to meet Mukund?"

"Yes, but why does it matter? I thought you know where I would go at this time." She shrugged, detaining his hands in hers, "Moreover, I didn't want you to chafe him. So, I thought it would be good if I settle whole matter without you. I wish us to live happily ever after, not me visiting you in local lockup."

Her words barely registered in his mind but a swirl of emotions knocked him heavily and he pulled her roughly to him, before pushing her to the wall, hovering her with his shadow, piercing her soft eyes with his incandescent gaze.

"You really ended it up?" He rested his palm over her cheek and she leaned to it.

"Yes, I did. For I finally come to understand that what I wanted was a mirage but I am thankfully not a fool to leave a cistern for it."

"Say it clearly." He urged, over her lips and rubbed his knuckles on her cheek.

"I met to tell him that he is not needed here, that he should not contact me ever, that Yuvraaj is all I want, need and desire." She confessed, with her eyes, soul and body. "I love you, Yuvraaj and now i know that you thought I left you. Really Yuvraaj? Even after last night, you think I'll leave you.

I love you, Yuvraaj. I love you so much. I can forget myself but I won't forget you, I can betray myself but I swear on my breath, I will never betray you." She pried for his response and flicked his hair from his forehead with another hand, "I am sorry that I have already hurt you up to an extent it is impossible to tolerate but I had to. I had to meet him, I had to leave you so that I can be sure that it is you who I want, not because I love you but because I can't live without you."

"Do you've any idea what I will do after your confession?" He asked and enlaced his arm around her waist, slamming her body to him, "I will cuff you with me, you will have no choice but to live with me, be happy with me, love me and to stand by me. Do you want that?"

"I need that." She avowed before realising and slammed her lips on his, not withstanding the distance anymore. Pressing her to the wall, Yuvraaj rubbed her waist, employing his another hand in tugging her top. He feasted upon her lips like an aborigine. With one pull, he pared her top and threw it aside, not at all leaving her lips.

Deftly, his fingers stroked her soft belly as he allowed Anahita to weave her hands through his hair and pull him more towards her. His dominant tongue forced inside her mouth, exploring every nook, devouring her sweet nectar and earning her pleasurable gasps.

Anahita's fingers tumbled down to his shoulders and gripped them hard as Yuvraaj wrapped his arms around her thighs and locked her legs around his waist, making her bareback rest against the wall. Anahita gasped, throwing her head back as Yuvraaj skimmed her jaw with wet kisses and his hands cupped her breasts over her bra. He teased the perky nubs with his fingers while his mouth worked upon her neck, desperately sucking and assaying the length with his teeth.

His eyes matched hers once before he permitted his hands to travel to her back and unclasped the hook of her inner. Strands of silky fabric hung low on shoulders, revealing her assets to hungry eyes. Anahita moistened her lips before fondling Yuvraaj's face and kissed him long.

Yuvraaj made her hands tighten around his neck and hugged her tightly before ambling to the bedroom with her clinging onto him. He ferried her on the bed and mounted over her, playing with her soft skin.

Anahita glided back making suit for him and fidgeted with his shirt's button, before she tore them apart and helped him in getting rid of his shirt. Satiated with it, when Yuvraaj rested his forehead against her, she joked. "Is that a yes for taking me back or should I go and try mending with that sleezebag?"

"Don't even think that." Yuvraaj warned, breathing on her skin and swept his lips once again on hers, stifling her giggle.

"I love you, Anahita." Anahita stilled when she heard his murmur between the kiss. Her response came to a cease and her fingers dwindled on his hair. It seemed surreal to her. It seemed almost....faint.

Yuvraaj sensed it and clapped his eyes upon her, disassociating himself partly from her. Anahita's kindled eyes dwelled in his as she tried to grope the reality but when he clutched her hand and kissed her palm, she knew it was the reality. She became certain that she heard him right.

"You what?" Her lips finally assuaged her query.

"You've heard me." Yuvraaj smiled, "I love you. I love you so much, Anahita."

"But....but...how? I still have not done anything to...."

"To make me fall for you?" Yuvraaj finished for her and she nodded vigorously, making him chuckle slightly shaking his head.

"How will you?"

"Huh?"

"How can you make me fall in love with you again Anahita when I've never been out of love with you." He said sincerely and Anahita's eyebrows touched her hairline. It was like someone told her that an old woman had hang moon in the sky and threw in some stars. She skipped a beat as it seemed dream to her. Like she would touch him and he would disappear.

"Don't look at me like this, baby. I am here for real." Yuvraaj kissed her hand as a response when she traced his face.

"Why? How can you love me even after my infidelity? I've hurt you so many times that I've lost the count now, then how can you love me? Hell, I made joke of our marriage. I tricked you into this marriage."

"You were never infidel, Anahita. You've not tricked me. It was always my choice." He caressed her face and removed hair strands from her forehead, "I was available with two options. To keep my pride or to keep my love. I chose the second one."

Time stopped for both of them. Their hearts were getting naked before each other more than their bodies. Yuvraaj hadn't only entwined his fingers with her but also his heart with hers as well. More than the words, his eyes were speaking. No resistance, no moving back. He was adamant on peeling off all the layers before her. He wished to let her know everything he wanted to tell her since the start of this conundrum called, Five Weeks.

"What did you just say?" Anahita managed to put her words together and her heartbeats widened as she tried to recollect his words.

"I was available with two options only. To keep my pride or to keep my love. I chose the second one." He repeated and his palm reached her cheek, fondling her skin. Anahita covered his palm with hers, shaking her head.

"You're lying. You wouldn't have married to me if you know. I....are you really saying that my dad..."

"Yes. Baba is a man of words, Anahita. The vice of deception haven't even touched him slightly. He would rather face the music than to deceive and that's why I know everything. He didn't deceive me. He told me everything Anahita." Yuvraaj matched her eyes, infusing life in her fears. "I knew about Mukund even before you told me. I knew you ran that day."
