Chapter 21: Chapter 21
"Kai. Kai. Kai."
"What?" I groaned and turned my back to Mila. I hope she gets the signal that I don't want to get up.
"Keelan is here."
"Hmmn." Seconds later. "What?!" I sat up immediately, my eyes widened.
"Wow, you look hideous." She commented sarcastically. "If your parents see you like this, they're going to fucking skin you alive." She said as she crossed her arms.
"Why is he here?" I asked groggily.
"He came with Remi. Rems wants to hang out but he'll have to have to rain check on that. I think your boyfriend wants to go out with you."
I groaned again. "Tell him I’m still sleeping." I flopped on the bed again. Mila's bed.
"You go tell him that yourself." She then walked off. I got up again and tried to stop her. I fell on the floor instead. I embraced the floor and closed my eyes, sleepiness still creeping in.
"I'm amazed, sweetheart."
My eyes opened so wide, I thought I'm seeing white. Oh, yes… he’s also White.
"You can sleep on the floor. Are you trying to give me a hint?"
I sat up immediately. He was leaning at the door with crossed arms. He was smirking.
"What are you doing here so early?" I squinted my eyes adjusting my sight to the surroundings.
"Early? It's past ten, love." He was now walking towards me. "I know you're exhausted but I need you to get up." He took my arm and pulled me up.
He chuckled. "You look like a mess. A hot mess though."
I scowled at him. "I'm not going anywhere but this bed." I sat down at Mila's bed and then lied down. I closed my eyes.
Keelan sat down on the bed as well and leaned in to me. "Don't you want to meet my sister?"
My eyes opened again. His face was inches closer to mine. There was a playful smirk lying on his handsome face.
"Okay." I whispered as I blushed.
Keelan grinned. "Now go take a shower. I'll be waiting downstairs with them." He then kissed my nose.
---
Keelan's home was no different from other mansions where I and my friends live. Although his home was bigger and more grand. The word billionaire just screamed out of it you know. And it was homier than mine. Well, that's because an actual family lives here.
"Your house is amazing." I said as I looked around. "Well, it's a mansion but you know what I mean."
Keelan looked down at me with a smile. "I just live here for the meantime. Avery wanted me to help babysit their son when they're out."
"You have a nephew?" I asked with a rather extreme enthusiasm. My whole face probably brightened just the thought of going to see a baby- an angel.
He chuckled. "Yes, you'll meet him soon. He's probably sleeping right now. I'm going to get a drink. Do you want anything?"
"Just water, please."
He nodded. I kept on looking around, appreciating the place. I can't help but feel impressed and in awe. Their home is truly beautiful. You could see they put a lot of effort into it and not just rely on designers. You could feel home and family in it. There are pictures with frames placed on tables and stands but I didn't zoom in on it. I was following Keelan, afraid of getting lost. With how big this mansion is, I won't doubt it.
I followed Keelan towards the kitchen while still admiring the place. I suddenly heard something. I swear it was similar to a moan. Keelan suddenly stopped. I almost hit his back but fortunately, I was able to stop less than a feet away.
"Jesus christ! I told you not do it in the fucking kitchen. Jeez. Have some decency here." I could hear shuffling around.
"Ke-Keelan, you're already here." I heard a woman's voice stuttering.
"I can do whatever I want with my fucking kitchen." The voice was deep and faint. Much like he was mumbling but it was still audible.
"Yes your kitchen, not your goddamn bedroom." Keelan retorted.
Curious at the situation, I took a peek. My eyes widened when I saw two of the most beautiful people I've ever seen. The woman was gorgeous, so beautiful that I can't seem to move from her beauty. She was blushing scarlet red. She was so red that it made me curious what really happened here. Her face holds a familiarity from them. Brown hair and that otherworldly green eyes. Keelan's sister. They looked like twins and she was an exact female version of him.
The man was drop dead gorgeous. The type that all women swoon. He was big. Bigger and taller than Keelan. He had muscles that bulged from his arms similar to Keelan. There was a dark aura around him. Probably because he was scowling. He has dark eyes despite having his orbs grey. I looked back and forth between his sister and her husband. They looked really really perfect together like a match made in heaven.
I didn't realize that I was staring when two pairs of eyes were looking at me.
"Who are you?" Avery asked as she tilted her head to the side.
I stepped out of Keelan's shadow and finally showed my presence.
"Ugh... hi." I tried to smile feeling awkward at the same time.
"Ave, this is Kyree. Kyree, meet Avery, my sister and that's his husband, Stefano."
I attempted to greet and give justice to the first one but I failed to do so when she lunged at me.
"Oh my god, finally you have a girlfriend, Keelan!" Avery hugged me. My eyes widened. She then let me go, her hands were still on my shoulders. "I'm so glad to meet you. Keelan never said anything about a girl." I tried to say something and tell her that I wasn't his girlfriend but she turned to Keelan with a frown. "Why didn't you tell me about her?"
Keelan rolled her eyes. "That's why I brought her here. You'll still have the same reaction if I told you so why not kill two birds with one stone. Now, scream all you want, sis, I'm going to pick up Ren."
"Oh, yes, Ren. Hurry up. Lunch is almost ready."
"How could I think of lunch when you two are fucking eating each other out here? I hope you're not contaminating the food." So that's what happened. Avery blushed again. I have never seen anyone so red in my entire life. I peeked at her husband who was just staring at her. Though he looked like he was scowling, his eyes held warmth towards his wife.
Avery smacked her brother. "Screw you, Keelan!”
Keelan laughs at her sister. I realized I was smiling while watching them
