Chapter 84: Chapter 84
Ava's POV
Everything seemed to be the worst turning point for me at the moment, one of the babies had a particular habit of kicking me all the time and it hurts. On the other hand, Skye and Natasha's closeness was driving me crazy.
And there was my pack. I haven't even heard from them since I left crescent woods. I didn't really leave,I was forced to by that betrayal of a friend.
I sighed as I pulled away from the window. I advanced towards the bed when a rapid knock came on the door. It was more of a bang.
Before I could open the door, it burst open and Natasha walked in angrily.
The first thing she did to me was slap me hard in the face. I held my cheek as I felt my eyes sting with tears.
"What is my offense this time?" I asked her as I held back the pain her hand created on my face.
"Am I going to do my laundry by myself or what? All you know how to do in this house is eat and sleep, you lazy bag of oats." She said.
I stared at her in surprise. "What?" I exclaimed. "Since when have I become your personal maid?" I asked her.
She did a mimicking of me. "Listen to me Ava, if you do not do my laundry right now, you will face my wrath." She said icily.
I stared at her and straightened up. I refuse to be subjected to ridicule by this brat. "I've had just enough of your malicious tantrums Natasha. I refuse to stoop so low as to be your maid in this house." I said to her, standing my ground.
"You're in this house because I allowed you to." She said with venom in her eyes.
"Need I remind you, you're not the alpha nor the Queen of this house so you cannot order me around," I said to her in anger.
"Skye and I and not officially divorced and if you think because of our separation, that is why you can do as you please with me, you're wrong. I'm still the queen of this pack and you're not. You'll never be." I spat angrily at her.
The camaraderie was broken and I knew I had a stroke a nerve with the fiery anger in her eyes. "Julius! Julius!" She yelled repeatedly and he came. "Take this filthy garbage out of this room and lock her in the dungeon." She ordered him. He hesitated for a moment and she threatened him. "Or do you want me to tell Skye you refused to carry out his order?" She lied blatantly and Julius cowered as I held my hand. I took my hand away from him.
"I have legs," I said and walked out of the door, holding my dignity and pride intact.
I was locked up in the dungeon just because Robin was away. He had gone to secure a house for us in town. The prison door shut in my face, I held the iron bars and stared out into the dimly lit passageway. Whoever thought I would be in this position someday. I, Ava White, alpha of the crescent pack and Queen of the blood moons. I wouldn't believe in my wildest dreams all these could happen to me.

Robin's POV
I returned to the pack house after securing an apartment in town for Ava. Tonight, what needed to be done would be done. I walked into the pack house and went towards Ava's room. I knocked twice but there was no response. I creaked the door open and peep through but there was no one inside.
Where was she? I knew her to always lock herself up these days within the walls of her room. Where was she now? I walked towards the direction of the living room and I saw Camila and Anna, my heart gave a little jump when I saw Camila but I brushed the thoughts of her off my mind. "Have you seen Ava?" I asked.
I noticed a sad countenance on their face. "What happened? Where's Ava?" I asked them.
"They won't let us see her," Camila said bursting into tears as she fell into my arms. I stroked her hair wondering what was wrong. "What are you talking about? Who won't let you see her?" I asked her but she kept sobbing.
"She's been locked up in the dungeon Beta Robin," Anna said sadly. I furrowed my brows and Camila pulled away from me as she sniffed. "By whose orders?" I demanded angrily.
"Natasha," Camila said amidst tears.
Hot blood ran through my body and I raced up the stairs. "Natasha! Natasha!" I called the bitch's name repeatedly. She opened her door and stared at me. "What's all the fuss about Robin?" She asked me.
"How dare you lock Ava up in the dungeon?!" I questioned her angrily.
She made a hissing sound and turned to slam the door on my face and I placed a foot on the door stopping the movement. I pulled her out of the room forcefully and she fell to the ground. I stared at her, hatred for her circling my heart. "You're lucky I do not beat women," I said to her.
"Skye will hear of this." She said.
"I await him," I said and walked away. I knew she was setting a trap for me to fall in and I was walking right into it but I didn't care. When Skye returns from his duties, we'd face each other squarely.
I got to the dungeon and the guards there won't let me through. "I'm sorry Beta but we're following orders." They said.
"I'm the Beta of this pack, right hand to the alpha. You're going to follow the orders of a woman and decline mine? Do you lot have an idea what I could do to you?" I questioned.
Reluctantly, they gave way and I went to Ava "Ava?" I called out softly.
"I'm here Robin." She said and I turned to where her voice was. She sat on the corner of the cell walls in the dark.
"I'm sorry I allowed this to happen to you." I apologized.
She chuckled. "You didn't let this happen to me. Fate has a way of doing things." She said to me as she slowly came to the light.
"You!" I yelled at one of the guards. "Open the cell door," I said to him. He walked towards the door and opened it.
I gave him a knock on the head. "You had the guts to lock your Queen up," I said in bitterness.
She gave a weary smile. "He was following orders." She said. I held her as I led her out of the dungeon. "Have you eaten?" I asked her and she shook her head. "I'll get you something as soon as we're out of here," I said and she chuckled.

Ava's POV
I wondered what if Robin had not returned that day, I would have starved and been in pain. I was beyond glad that he came and he came for me.
I slept peacefully after a whole good meal. In my sleep, I could hear noises. I opened my eyes and I could tell the voice was of that Skye and Robin.
I jumped up from my sleep and rushed out of the room. I knew the quarrel was because of me.
"You had the audacity to beat up Natasha uh?!" Skye demanded in anger. I knew that was impossible. Robin couldn't do that.
"What if I did uh?" Robin fired back at him. "What's up with you and this two face sided bitch. She returned all of a sudden and your thinking faculty couldn't tell you something is up!" He yelled. I saw Natasha standing at the stairs with an evil smirk on her face.
With blinded fury, Skye hit him hard on his jaw and Robin stumbled back. Picking up his balance, he rushed Skye and they both tumbled to the floor. "Stop!" I yelled at both of them. I won't stand and watch two good friends become enemies.
"Stop!" I yelled again and Robin pulled away from Skye.
Skye got up to his feet and I walked closer and slapped him hard on his face. "How dare you raise your hand over your best friend for a worthless woman?" I asked him getting upset.
"How dare you raise your hand to my face?" He questioned with a murderous look on his face. "You have no right to hit me." He said and I stumbled back in fear as he moved closer to me. He had a look to kill in his eyes.
Robin stepped in between us. "Your problem is with me not her." He said.
"My problem is with all of you," he said in exasperation. "By tomorrow, I want you all out of the pack house and never to return." He said in defiance and I watch Natasha walk up to him and placed her head on his shoulder and stroke his chest.
"I'd leave but Robin stays," I said walking towards him
"Good. Your sight disgusts me." He said and turned to walk away with Natasha.
"What did she do to you?" I asked as I felt tears threaten to drop down my eyes.
He paused and turned to look at me. "This is not you, Skye. This is not you." I said to him.
"This is me. The me you never got to know well." He said and with that walked away and I watched him and Nat, hand in hand, mount the stairs.
